  1. ^^ this. especially given it's just a girlfriend and a bike. my wife did family law for many years and as much as I'd hate to say if we ever separated for me it would be just flat-out easier, less stressful and tons tons tons cheaper to just agree where we can and fucking toss in the towel on areas we don't. I don't need stress.
  2. ^^ came here to say this. They will insure it's deposited into her account. You need to go after her in court.
  3. meh....goes up from what, $3 gal? That's about $45mo additional for someone going 12k/yr at 22mpg overall average. Even then for a $180mo. in savings, do you really think you're going to take someone from a $30-$40k car to an $80K+ car? It's still cheaper to pay for gas and minimal maintenance new cars require. They need to get the costs of these cars down. Love the idea of them and they are nice cars. Anyone affording more than $40k for a car likely doesn't care about gas prices.
  4. Nice ride. Funny we both made similar moves after the GXP.
  5. Typical 1980's size drive in this area. I don't parking cars on it. I'm a garage guy. Once I sell the MS3 I'll be back to a 2 car family. New house will definitely have a 3 bay garage. I bet my guy would do your drive for $5-7k. Mine came to $5.35 per sq. ft. all in. Remember yours is only 10ft wide, mine is 18' wide. So you have about double the material and labor but that's still not that much. PM me for details. You're a fellow sales guy. Negotiate as a referral and get Joe to do his long ass driveway. That's two big jobs that this guy could knock out in a few days. Side plug......the landscape wall goes all the way around 3 sides of the house and was done by certain CR Native with an '09 Cyber Gray Z06
  6. Weren't they supposed to have some kind of update recently that was to somehow magically transform their range into something more usable than 250 miles?
  7. Must have been a typical cheap trim level rental. I looked at the AWD S-Sport Version for a new company ride and loaded up it was very nice and while not fast by CR Standards the nearly 300hp motor scooted. Little smaller than my Fusion Sport. Nice car though. This is the exterior of the one I was looking at. Interior was nice too. OT......anything small and slow. The Toyota Corolla is a car that I hate and will never drive.

Not as useful as the fleshlight
  10. Nice write up. Great looking sedan IMO. I'm in the group of those stating the value just isn't there though. That's all relative of course as everyone's mileage will vary on what they are using to define value. I suppose the all electric car thing and Tesla name are like an iPhone and worth a premium to some tough.
  11. So many good LOL's on that one. :lolguy: Nice find!
  12. Call Kirk, he may let you rent an RS7 for $1,000 per day
  13. I saw it's twin, possibly that one on their showroom floor. Very nice. Yes the audio system is the best I've ever heard. Congrats! the car 'farts' on downshifts are one of the things I liked most. Now you're going to make me call him and go through the whole CTS-V vs S4 debate again! I know where yours is at
  14. Lots of good citizen marches going on. Show the kids how to really tear up the town and voice their opinion.
  15. someone will. hell, in today's world you can sell a piece of toast that looks like an R8 to the right IV Ring nut.
  16. Yeah, as a father I was pleased to see the joy the results from being fortunate enough to bring the kids all we have. I shouldn't be surprised, but I honestly was with my daughter as she is only 9 and really does take care to protect and care for the things we've given her. Nick is 12 and does for sure, but a bicycle for a kid of 9yrs isn't always their first pride and joy but she sure likes to ride around. This one does allow for a couple years of growth that's for sure.
  17. So of course it was now time to upgrade my daughter from a small kids bike to one that she too could use for the next couple years. My sons Diamond Back came from Performance Cycle on Sawmill but this time I decided to hit the Trek Store. The nice thing about Trek is they give you 50% of the purchase price back when you "upgrade" and with kids, that's definitely a given to occur. That made this bike a great value, especially given the 1000% difference when compared to the typical $120 Wal-mart Bike. She's loving it and doing great on a much larger bike that has gears. She was so excited to try it out I had to LOL at her mixing and matching clothes just to get out of the house and ride Sophia Having a Blast: http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/159870687.5chej2vk.IMG_2302copyweb_zpsbx3xplm2.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/IMG_2293%20copy%20web_zpsotorc62k.jpg
  18. Looks good. We have a couple people with the SE's as company cars. No issues with any thus far.
  19. Yes. For the first two years at least. Cost me $150 for the product and it's enough to do my driveway twice easily. Wait as long as you can. I had our drive done in June and applied the sealer in late Oct. right before winter.
  20. go concrete. Had a 28'x18' Blacktop ripped up and replaced last summer for $2,700. Blacktop quotes were coming in at $1500. you're call. I'm glad I went concrete. 21. ^^ this. been there done that. plant it Monday and it will be sprouting within 10 days. especially with the weather we have coming.
  22. So my daughter has my old iPhone 4s and one can only imagine all the things they capture and do with them. Upon backing it up this weekend I found a crappy, grainy selfie type shot she must have tried pulling off at some point. Most would delete it and not pay it any mind, but with the recent loss of our Xena, and the "hole it left in her heart", her words, I was able to pull together a little background wallpaper for her phone to remember her by. Point being, don't delete even the crappy shots. Someday they might just shine through to tell a heartwarming story. Enjoy. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/IMG_2293%20working%20web_zpsowheiryc.jpg
  23. The LG G Watch R has one of the better displays, especially in daylight. As an owner of the Gear S I can tell you that in bright sun it's meh.....but more importantly I can say it's GPS works great when walking and you can stop to look at a watch, but I'm not sure I'd use it on a Bike. Best off to see if you can mount a cheaper smaller dedicated unit. Battery life won't be awesome with a GPS running non stop either.Just my two cents.
