I'm not a 2 door fan but life is about trade offs. Am still awaiting our dang co. to make a decision.... -

I'm tempted but I think the wife has something planned and I'm not lugging my two kids. If I can I'll bring my son who is 12 and would LOVE your car. He wants me to get a drop top as much as I do. Will have to see if they make an Audi S4 in a convertible....hmm.... -

Sounds like Casey needs a sound clip posted or suffer a temp ban Congrats on getting it squared away so fast and with Bonus points that one of our own car doctors was able to do it for you. -
Was waiting for a hot Japanese chick to disrobe and throw balls. Finger on ban button for teasing me........

That was quick. Better than if it were to happen on track day! -
Nice upgrade. Love the wheels. Needs just a bit of a drop but hard to tell from those pics. Chevy did a nice job but I do still not like the rear end. IMO it looks like a prelude or something pretty dull. Should have kept the square lights IMO.

F that. If I lived on a lake and had a helicopter, I'd be riding a hot chick everyday. You could borrow my boat as I wouldn't need it.

Completely different car but FWIW, the 6spd auto in my Fusion Sport is very nice in terms of how it shifts and is geared. Quiet and smooooth when I want it to be. With it's 3.5l it pulls very strong and shifts with authority on the highway allow for more than enough passing power. Even my turd with a V6 pulls past 100mph to the limiter with ease and bounces off that like a tennis ball. I can only imagine in the 5.0 it would be a lot of fun. I do use the manumatic mode a bit and it works. Not sure if it's on the console like mine or if the Mustangs have paddles, but am so used to it on the console now that it will be hard to switch. I use it mainly to hold gears. It shifts slower than I'd like but then it's just a manumatic way of shifting not a fancy system of any type. It will allow you to hit redline or bounce the limiter if you're not watching. Just beware that my car and several of the 6spd autos that we've had in our co. car fleet from Fusions to Edge's have had problems between 40-60k miles. Mine had an $1,900 repair at 60k due to a major leak and other crap. Others have begun to slip and needed simliar dollar repairs. Just my exposure to them.

Looking for a referral to a licensed / reputable person or company that I can hire to do some deck repair. Basically just some minor work - lattice work and boards being replaced but one never knows if something more complicated could pop up thus I want someone who isn't just trying to be a shade-tree repair person. Referrals welcome please

Nice man! Very, very nice! Can't wait to see it Casey.

Glad I found this thread. Just yesterday I was looking for such a place in prep for taking customers to The Memorial. Found out T.O.C was gone! Thankfully I detailed the interior of the Ford a couple weeks back and was able to hit Moo Moo for the outside. I've been to MCB in the past but it's not at all near us. I think there's one at 23/Orange too....not sure the name. Still too far though.

I also inturrupt them and tell them that this is a business line and they are wasting their time calling me. It works as whenever there's a number that doesn't call-pop someone I know from the address book on my phone or what not, I answer the phone as if I'm at work.

I just like keeping it nearby. Whether they log any notes in their system or record calls but if they do then it must have been some type of connection error or electronic pulse that occurred. Too bad. http://l.yimg.com/fz/api/res/1.2/mOeOX6mnPr.E6dm6Bxo0Nw--/YXBwaWQ9c3JjaGRkO2g9MzAwO3E9OTU7dz0zMDA-/http://contentinfo.autozone.com/znetcs/product-info/en/US/bli/BH00911/image/3/

sure....I'm going to voluntarily offer up more of my money to be mis-managed. No thanks. Ditto. Will be looking at some other options. Just placed a $225 order on drugstore.com. Free shipping, no tax and same prices as Amazon if not better. On the bike rack I'm looking at it retails for $249 but is on Amazon for $189. Took about 2 minutes to find a reputable and well rated reseller online that would price match it. No tax and free shipping. Fuck Sales Tax as often as possible. Absolutely. Meh....or in some cases you can go to the manufacturer or another reseller of the product. Most will match amazon or other online prices.

I printed and taped the sign shown right near the door bell. Had it up there for several years and only once did someone still ring the bell. (outside my sons nieghborhood friend selling shit for school and they know we're cool with them doing it.) http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/160221341.9Hf1Pcnh.DSC00172copyweb_zpsll4wq6lj.jpg Yeah, I know I need to wash the porch area

Sorry to hear but am glad you are okay. Looking forward to seeing what you end up with next.

Wide angle wise I'd look at the following groups 10-24mm (4) 10-20mm (2) 12-24mm (4) Perhaps best for this trip would be to rent one of the ones from above to insure it's in fact what you want and if a lens will be the way to go.

Yes, that's what I was wondering. I just added a nice Sony RX100 III and love it. Great quality pics and video that fit in my pocket. Mainly for outdoor landscapes and wider shots but it will capture the kids nicely too. Sound like you have that. Gotcha. Sounds like an opportunity to add a nice wide angle lens such as a 10-18mm. Gotcha. I'm not personally familiar with the Nikon Gear but side by side it looks to be an incremental upgrade. http://www.dpreview.com/products/compare/side-by-side?products=nikon_d5200&products=nikon_d5300 Some key features that I like on it: They removed the anti-aliasing filter, which gives it the edge in terms of resolution. Will be more noticeable if you use good glass. Full and true 1080/60p HD video and I do like articulated screens for video. Better battery life It's definitely a nice upgrade to your D60. That said, especially given your upcoming trip, I still stand by the fact that you'll get a lot of mileage out of a new good lens like a wide angle. I can show you pics from a 13yr old DSLR vs my latest ones you'd be hard pressed to see a difference. Just saying. All depends on how much you like photography. Nikon and Canon have great lens systems and going forward you'll be in good hands. If you do upgrade the body I'd go all out and go 7200. It's a well worth upgrade that you will appreciate. But now I'm spending more of your money Hope my nickles worth helps.

No one on CR has ever wreck a vette on grass right? :ninja: That said, I'm sure I'm sure the of the red vette in the vid does well in winter with his CTS-V and a set of snow tires

I wish I had more to offer but I'm not up on the latest 4/3 offerings. They really don't fit my needs nor do I have an interest in investing in the lenses for them as I'm deep elsewhere. That said it sounds like bulk is the biggest concern? What are your main objectives and targets for shooting while out and about? Could you simply invest in a really good alternative camera? I'll chime back in when you share the above.

Tough thread to come into after the loss of our Boxer. That said, time to move on and continue having fun. We'll be providing our Pit Mix with a sibling towards the end of summer once we finish all our planned vacations. Not sure what we'll add, but we'll all be having fun for sure. Until then, here he is with his first close up near-contact with a cat that has adopted us http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/IMG_1830%20copy%20web_zpsrht3ojh6.jpg

Thanks everyone. I'll look to get a hitch installed and will likely go with the following as it's compatible with our van and a smaller hitch. Axis Steel 4-Bike http://www.saris.com/uploads/products/racks/2014-product/834b-axis3.jpg

Pretty cool. I can think of a few other color schemes that would make it tits though.
