Like the idea, but the implementation method looks a bit crude and for 1 in 4 to have worked for a live demo on a parked car...... IMO bad guys are going to quickly bail and run anyway so finding just the car isn't much good.
-
meh.....thought of that, but my boy wants to pick out his own new bike and feel the experience. You know that feeling right

^^ there can be value had. My son's current 21spd was $110 from Toys R Us and it's served him well for two years. Mind you he was 10 when he got it and laid it down and hit things, etc as kids will do. For $20 we bought the anytime upgrade/fix warranty, etc. that even covered being run over by a car. True story in print. However, ffwd to now and you're right. Time to get him one that is nicer, has great components won't have fucked up gears and handle bars that require dad to tighten every 4 weeks and a chain that actually stays on 100% of the time.

Funny you should ask....I just replaced the one in my wife's minivan after nearly 95k miles. OMG was that thing nasty. Had a dried mouse with a chunk of dog food stuck to it too I LOL when the guy at the oil change place showed me. I guess that's where the funny smell she had for a couple weeks last summer was from. Went away so I didn't pay it much attention. Noticed that it smelled like brand new afterwards. FFWD a few weeks and yesterday when I was out in the van I noticed the blower sounded different and blew noticeably more air too. Go figure. Does anyone know if there's a rear cabin filter in such set ups or is the rear typically all filtered by the same one? They only replaced one but I'm not sure.....

Don't know. Hoping they chime in. Looks like they could be a new neighbor. Hoping to meet them soon. Didn't have a chance to stop by today. -
Thanks Mitch. Yep, we live in Brookside area so I'll definitely hit those places up. We bought ours and other items at the one near Bethel/Sawmill.

Leave on the playground of a middle school and watch the kids go crazy LOL...true story.....I remember as a kid the boys in 6th to 8th grade would play around climbing in the HUGE recycling bins in the parking lot of our school. Teachers thought we were just playing around when really the boys would all be looking for boxes like this

I thought that matched the description of someone here....sounds loud/good. NW Columbus off Snouffer. White guy, beard I believe. Who is this?

Looking to upgrade my 12yr old son to a full size non-kids bike. Mountain bike type / style. Nothing specific needed other than durable for a kid who will be doing the typical suburban roads and curbs, etc. May lay it down as he is just a kid. He's currently riding my wife's Specialized 24spd and doing great as his last 21 spd is now a bit too small. I'd give him hers but it's like an $800 bike and I really don't trust him to not just leave it in the front yard of a buddies house, etc. I may just hit up Target, etc. and major stores but would invest a little more if someone here knows a person or works at a reputable place. Insight appreciated. Budget could be as high as $500-600 if it's the right bike but would like to spend less.

Vinny, I know it's scary and I'm no doctor and don't know much about your injury, but mine was larger in displacement and I had a laminectomy done without issue. Instant pain relief and while mine was 20 years ago (perhaps less recovery time now) given the procedures likely better, I was up and about with normal life in less than a few months. Been 98% ever since. Every now and then the twinge of a bad movement will hit me but overall It's the best thing. I'm in my mid 40's now and couldn't imagine not being able to function.

I remember seeing a thread about them a while back. Still looking/considering the purchase of a high end professional steam clean unit. Please link me to the better ones out there that detailers would recommend. Thanks!

Jumping into this in the middle....but are you saying the above has to be true to in order for someone to be well off? IMO it's far easier for people to do well and become wealthy than it was years ago. The playing field will never be "level" for all, but the reality is there are far more options and abiliites for even the poor to take than there were years ago. The one common thing I see in those around me that are well off, and I'm fortunate to be around many, is that they have a fire in their belly to make it happen. Honestly I do see plenty that have done well and still do well, but I will agree that it takes more work today. However, is that really a bad thing? If you're implying there should be salary caps, I totally disagree. Sure, there are companies like GM that overpaid their people for little to no return during certain periods of time, but that's been around for years. Many however balance out their pay for performance in ways that they do justify. You and I might not see it but in the end, if they are public their investors and own people will right-size that if it's out of line. meh....I still see a lot of the above as a choice the average American makes. Don't cry me a river when many live well above their means by choice. Even many here are CR that live paycheck to paycheck choose to spend money on technology and cars, etc. that perhaps they shouldn't. The choice remains theirs.

yeah but with over 5k on mods. I'd put that towards a nicer S4 and run just shy of that stock all day.

^^ This. It's not about how much you make but what how much you invest and save. IMO more families need to live off one income and save/invest their spouses.

Dayton is a broke ass place. They need the revenue more than most. Doesn't surprise me.

Jason Blum (bloom). Tell him Tim Lauro / Tamie Snyder sent you his way. He'll treat you right and worked with my wife at the prosecutors office. He knows his way around the system. Thank me later. Good luck.

Nope, but but we still live a very modest MC lifestyle because the reality is it's not about what you make but about what you save and invest.

As much as I love my Note 3 I LOL at the Korean mindset. They have some great ideas and equally as strong shitty ideas and can never seem to get things just right. Palm meet forehead.

^^ this. I get it but that guy was clearly drunk. In addition, physically restraining drunk people is kinda dangerous if you're not trained for it and don't have police tools (i.e., mace, cuffs, TASER). People tend to fight back when grabbed. In short, even with good intentions, laying hands on someone else is risky business. Agree but 2-3 guys in a bar could do it easly and save a life. Can't help but think someone should have been calling the cops the moment he started that Jeep.

He'll get it in a few years once he's CR Strong

Pick and choose your battles. She's 18 and while you make the rules under your house, what's more important, your rules or the respect and relationship between all. Consider your wife too. Trish is correct, that you two set the standard. If you disagree and can't settle things than that's the example you're both setting. You're not likely going to change anyone else in the matters opinion or lifestyle so really, is it worth it? IMO, let it go. Not exactly the battle I'd choose to fight. That's my opinion. Good luck man.

I just ram my vehicle into cars blocking my way, catch it on video, post it on youtube and watch the forums light up debating if I'm an ass or is are the ones I'm hitting asses for clogging up the road and intersections.
