  1. Props to Westerville for installing some kick ass video cameras in their cars. Props to the cop for eliminating another dumb ass from this world. Not the kinda job I'd want in life.
  2. Thanks. Will measure my desk on Monday.
  3. how tall is the fridge? wouldn't mind having it in my office but I would love to put it under my desk unit. inches please.
  4. 480p versions are on movietube. Can download from there. I'm going to watch it on a plane with my iPad. WIll be good enough. 1080p versions usually get ripped and put up a few weeks later. I bet it will be up soon.
  5. Keep in mind that the reality is that it is still just a car. Even at that price, it's just a car. Most business owners write them off and lease them to a corporation, depreciate it over time as part of the business, etc. Creative ways to do it abound. No one plops down $250k+ on a car as it makes little financial sense. Hell even our minvan is titled in a corporation for when my wife ran her business. Chances are if you drive it like a typical car, you can afford it. It's the people you see parking sideways in the back lot who wash it daily and drive it only on dry days that likely fit the stereotype that exists and can't comfortably afford the cars they are rocking.
  6. Like the color. I'd rock that fucker as much as I could, snow or not. Just a car.....
  7. Honestly Dyson. We have both the Animal Upright and the little DC59 Animal Handheld. That's a great little unit and would likely serve you best everywhere. Just my two cents.
  8. ^^ did not like Thankfully I got it through movietube.
  9. Found out my dog has dropped out of remission and her Cancer is back with a vengeance. That didn't help the start of my day.....
  10. ^^ this. so close to a listing you're not going to get credit for maybe 50% of the costs. I'd only replace the carpet if it's trashed. Leave room for an allowance maybe. I would completely paint and neutralize the house. IMO the majority of folks moving in, unless they are looking for a fixer upper, don't want to do shit and would rather have move in condition. I'm like that and would completely pass on doing any work. I'd request the seller do it if it wasn't done. Moving is a hassle enough without having to dick around with even small things upon move in. Ask Brian how much paint helps move a house
  11. ^^ this. As kid I would go outside after breakfast, come home to eat lunch and piss then wait until the sound of mom yelling for us to eat dinner to come inside. I was almost always tan like cuban now I'm white as a ghost.
  12. Brown rice isn't unhealthy. Way better in terms of carbs and rate of absorbtion. Pasta wise Dreamfields is a great altnerative to regular, not expensive and tastes 100% like regular pasta. Again, very good in terms of carb absorption. Both are not to be eaten as main dishes. Portion control is where it's at. I've lost weight simply by eating small portions, waiting 30 minutes and going back for a bit more if and where needed. Usually I'm full and don't go back. True but I can't regulate the fact that a box of HH at $.77 is what people eat as their main meal. IMO it's fine so long as they realize that's not how they should eat it. I won't lie, I love me $.99 mac and Cheese, but I eat it as a side dish. I lead with Veggies, add in a small portion of meat, add some M&C and a tall glass of water. I actually drink a 12oz glass of water about 15 minutes before dinner. My big vice is a stack of Oreos after 8pm when no one is looking
  13. We can opt into a health assessment which includes an exam and questionnaire. You get a $100 voucher just to opt in. Don't know what all the measurements are but if you're a smoker I've been told you're screwed. I have a $0 Health insurance premium, they pay it all. HSA Plan with max out of pocket of $4k and they fund it in full each year for me given my tenure and Assessment. Sweet deal for a family of four.
  14. IMO it's not about fining those that are fat but rewarding those that are not. Our company rewards those that are healthy and participate in healthy lifestyle activities. Smokers and fatties.....pay their own and it's not cheap and don't' get the benefits. I say the same thing can be done here. Create a system that rewards those that are healthy leaving the rest to pay for their sins. Pay the performers works better than punishing the non performers. In the end isn't that what we're really looking to do? works for employees, customers, kids, etc....I think we need to do the same thing in schools. Parents need to become more involved and help their kids. Be a God Damn Parent already. Don't do that and then IMO they should pay more taxes to cover the cost of teachers and schools who are essentially raising these kids. Sorry....OT Rant.
  15. Chicken is cheap. $5 and you can cook up enough for a family of four Fresh Brocc $1.30 or any veggy is relatively cheap. Can shit if you can't afford fresh Feed said family. Two-four Apples, baked with cinnamon.and raisins makes a healthy sweet treat. Healthy and cheap. $1.50 Loaf of bread for grain intake is relatively cheap too. $1.50 Water. Fat or poor kids don't need soda or sugar laden drinks. That's less than $10 for a family of four. Inflate the prices however you want. Rice and pasta are great cheap side dishes and can be had for cheap too Beans, healthy and cheap Steal cut oats and fruit for breakfast. Toss in some nuts or whatever you want for protein. In the end it's all about good choices. I'm not a position to have to penny pinch or budget for food at all, but I also don't go crazy stupid on wasting money for poor quality stuff. No sugar cereals or crap at our house. Kids aren't fat, wife is skinny and my weight....it's because I travel with a healthy sized expense budget all the time :gabe:
  16. ^^ this. Wife and I are looking to buy a new house 4 out of 4 so far have sold out from under us and didn't even get a chance to bid. Flashing back to the mid 90's.
  17. I'm in for $10, will give my wife half, support my kids and roll around naked with some hookers doing coke before I get up and blow the motor in a new Hellcat because there will be zero fucks given.
  18. We have state farm for everything and I have all kinds of insurance an writers on our home policy and it's not over $550/yr.
  19. 2 days of flowers followed by a dozen chocolate/gourmet strawberries. Should get me laid a couple times this week/weekend.
