  1. Considering the SIII is on Amazon for $99 I would hope so. It's no secret Wal-Mart outsells Neiman Marcus. The price has even has me looking at one for my 9yr old. Last I checked thought Apple wasn't aspiring to be on top via the price game. Again, biggest or most profitable. I know which I'm choosing. What's really nice is that same Brand Apple is benefiting from their store. I wonder how Android's store divides up their profits and revenues? Not sure. IMO, that's a key to their success though. They have put a distribution partnership in place that allows them to control the transactions and thus maintain the bulk of the profits. That's something none of the other platforms have done.
  2. Latest data shows iPad has 68% share. It actually went up. Single brand with one basic hardware device in the iPhone and a simple iOS vs how many other makes and models of phones? iPad vs how many other tablets? From their announcement: Latest data shows iPad has 68% share. It actually went up. I think Apple is doing just fine.
  3. not according to the market. androids do a lot and offer a crap load but it doesn't seem to matter. again, what people need and want and they seem to deliver without hurting the share.
  4. anything is possible, but in over 26 years of driving I've never gotten a ticket and I do it all the time when given the chance.

Every iPhone to date has had a 3.5" screen, and the new one has a 4" screen and 1136x640 resolution. http://cdnsl.coveritlive.com/templates/coveritlive/images/icons/fb_share2.png
  7. I do macworld. better IMO. http://live.macworld.com/2012/09/iphone5/index.php
  8. Value is all defined by what's important to the buyer. The difference is Apple listens and delivers just enough to keep users coming back. Smart. Again, people today generally are looking for simple elegance. I think Audi has nailed that in the S4 and others within their line up too. In on Page 2 of 43
  9. they sound smart and very profitable. ^^ this. If not I'll look elsewhere for LTE and perhaps unlimited. Will wait until its time to upgrade though. ^^ this or pay full boat for the phone. not sure I would ever do that though. not sure if you can do GPS and talk on Verizon though. Perhaps they changed or will change that with LTE.
  10. Reason number 1,234 why that part of world needs to be nuked.
  11. depends on what it has going for it. my guess is not enough of an advancement over a 4s to be compelling. more interested in iOS updates. like Ben, if I have to give up unlimited, no.
  12. I recommend Brandon for towing. Good guy and runs a reputable place for towing.
  13. Saw her tonight on Leno and she looked great for 55. Possibly best I've seen her or anyone at 55. No pic I could find does her justice. http://www.hollywoodactress.org/images/Katie-Couric-Height.jpg Katie Couric

    I'm new

Nice looking car. I've seen a white coupe like that with a black roof and a nice drop. Hot.
  15. I lay on my horn for fuck-heads that turn left there. I really hope to frustrate them enough to cause them to wreck.
  16. I'll add a few of mine: The Space Shuttle Challenger disaster: January 28, 1986 Was home "sick" actually playing hooky with my moms permission. I forget the details as to why but I remember watching it happen on our family room TV. The Space Shuttle Columbia disaster: February 1, 2003 In follow up on the subject, I also remember this one. It was the day I began clearing out our basement as that Monday they were due to start putting in the theater. The Berlin Wall: 1989 I don't recall the exact details around the events other than I was in College at OSU and aced political science and this and Exxon Valdez were two huge stories we discussed. The Exxon Valdez oil spill March 24, 1989 As noted, I remember thinking this was a horrible accident that fucked up the area for what I believed would be my lifetime. It was one of the few Fridays in college we talked something serious while drinking beer. I'm sure the conversation shifted to talking about getting laid. The Oklahoma City bombing: April 19, 1995 I remember this one too. I was at work traveling somewhere. I just remember hearing about it while on the road for work and popped into a radio shack to watch the news on TV to get the scoop. The Iran hostage crisis: 1979 This one hits home as both my brothers were in the military and as a 9 year old I remember talking with my parents about whether Tom or Sam would be involved in some way. The Falklands War: 1982 I remember this one as my oldest brother Sam was finally home from his 12 years serving in the US Air Force and was telling me all about the planes involved.
  17. Rule #1 of Hard/Sawmill. If going west on Hard to turn north on Sawmill, always cut through CVS. Way better than even remotely taking a chance on the camera and 200% better than waiting for the lead dumb ass who intends to go straight yet blocks the lane preventing others from turning right. I have never turned right at the intersection with that camera up and I drive that route all the time.
  18. I'll throw in the idea of motion sensors in the yard. We have them, they work and IMO they are as priceless as cameras and alarms. Main unit is in our bedroom, sets off a doorbell sound (multiple) which can be programed different for each sensor so you know which one is tripped. I like them because we have two dogs with deep barks and they go nuts when they go off and if you're outside you definitely can hear them. Basically you'll know they know you're out there.
  19. One thing I remember most is the eerie silence of the skies for several days after the attack. The other point was as the day unfolded all the medical teams prepared for injured victims and there were hardly any. No real quantifiable survivors. I was also floored by the thousands of posters for missing loved ones. Again, none found.
  20. Wrong to ask for pics of wife in car
