  1. Is there anything related to this that you are concerned about thus leading to why you prefer not to have a lawyer involved? Don't take my comments as an opinion. If the above is your situation and that said if so, money is likely tight, then don't do it as you're not prepared to offer a child the proper environment to have a chance. Let the adoption go and leave them an opportunity to enter a more stable and secure household. ^^ this.
  2. Just move the table, install the LED package at the top of the umbrella and let it rain dollar bills as we crank up the music. :gabe:
  3. That's one of my all time favorite clips from CR. Gotta love his logo too This one is appropriate too.
  4. Your uncles are looking back on the derogatory meaning that it once held years ago. Today, it's considered a "reclaimed" word used to describe more than just gays in a derogatory way. Technically it means Odd, unconventional or something that deviates from normal aka strange. Honestly, that describes the homosexual lifestyle IMO. Gay people can hate the term but the definition still applies so they need put on their big boy/girl pants and deal with it. If you want to "come out" then do it but don't try and force heterosexuals to think or go around acting as if you're just like them. You're not. I have friends and a cousin that are gay and I'd tell that to them too. In terms of the world colored, I wouldn't say that "colored" is in any way reclaimed. That's just more of a very old-school reference that wasn't mean to be derogatory back in the day but now with everyone shifting to the more politically correct African American phrase Colored is considered offensive to many. I still use and the word black to describe people of color. Gabe, your quota is filled. :fa:
  5. Pretty shitty for sure. Especially as a guest and someone who wants to be seen as credible. In the end Reagan is prolly flipping them off too. I don't support that lifestyle as in support it or go out of my way to defend it but I don't see the point in try to go against it either.
  6. Yes it does. I've stripped and refinished it completely in the past (see below) but this time I just cleaned it, used deck brightening agent and then stained. It took very well using a commercial grade airless sprayer. The kind that actually uses enough power to force the stain into the wood as apposed to brushing or the cheaper airless units that will tend to just lay it on top requiring more effort. Parts were brushed of course, but most was sprayed. Here are some shots from my first stripping of it. The color looks bright but it toned down to match what you see today. 7. We're keeping the house. At least for the time being. No sense in knocking down the deck either. It's solid. What I meant is if/when we move I'll not likely have a deck but rather a patio. Much easier to care for.
  8. I hate decks, but it's been with us for nearly 20 years so the PIA of having to take care of it continues. In the end, it's still a great thing to have during the summer, although it will be the last one I ever have. Patio's FTW. Was more than overdue for a good cleaning and staining. Cabot oil based stain and she's good to go for another couple years. Now off to move the rest of our chairs and stuff back onto it. The next few weeks will be spent landscaping and cleaning up all the beds and what not. Cell Phone Pics: Pano: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/144235769/original.jpg The deck is really holding up well and I am glad we had the extra details such as routered rails and decorative boards added. Most all of it is Western Red Cedar. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/144235770/original.jpg View from Backyard: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/144235771/original.jpg
  9. Rolling dice on this one but want to be there. Turnout recently has been great!
  10. Paul as a moderator :lolguy:
  11. Is that Erik Schmelmer :gabe: Funny shit!
  12. ^^ This. I'm not sure what the ultimate costs involved are but adoption isn't something you want to do without ALL bases covered. Think about it; it's not just what could happen in the beginning, it's about down the road. Is it worth risking a couple 2-3 years from now something popping up that could remove your child from your custody or cost you tens of thousands to fight later.
  13. slow motion Kate Upton bouncing is what I call a mind fuck. but this was a cool vid too.
  14. They should be made to work in a nursing home while old people do the same to them. Nothing like being forced to clean up an old dudes bed pan after Mariachi Night. Scared straight gone old-school, literally. Or just force them to join Columbus Racing and attend a welcoming event.
  15. that's why I smiled at Jones' quote. my wife has cock-blocked a few cars in her travels to soccer games. beside not being slow, our van is bigger than high school kids civics and we have more insurance :gabe: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1573442&postcount=4
  16. I just an email about this from my brother who lives / retired outside a simliar size town called Weimar, Texas. He's about 35 minutes from where this happened. Let's just say he could easily afford to live anywhere in the world yet he built his ranch down there for a reason and loves it. Big fish, little pond, Texas laws where donations to the local police agencies goes a long way. I've been with him when he blows by constables and sheriffs down there going well over posted limits in his 911 and they just exchange waves.
  17. Another reason why not everyone should be allowed to have and raise kids :dumb:
  18. Cools stuff. Nice quality vid. My only insight is to put the full race with times up there. Lots of launches and starts but no finishes It's like a cheap porn clip
  19. Kyle, you did the crowd proud with that introduction. Nice car and good luck with the new job. They should let you park up front with that ride.
  20. So supporting something that's fucked and wrong is right? The State Law is fucked and wrong. Opinions vary, but mine is in this case, there is absolutely a right to kill a rapist, especially one that goes after a 5yr old. I stand by the fact that more rapists and murders need to be executed. Especially when caught in the act. No need at all for a trial. That's a tremendous waste of resources.
