  1. I set that thermometer on a chair on our front porch where I like to it in the evenings and relax but in the sun today, it pegged itself at 120+ degrees. It felt like it too.
  2. one of the girls I used to go to would tip my head back between her tits when cutting my hair. I miss her.
  3. No offense, but there's a time and place for jokes and blunt humor. Do you think it might be best to do so once you're past the oven? Just look at your profile.....:dumb:
  4. Tell us a story with photos. Helps for those here that can't read.

  6. Makes sense, posting cars touch and ever want. Pics die on second come back ban race. Welcome
  7. Ours did the same 74* all day after a nice new filter and vacuuming out of everything the other day when I posted. Just now it bumped to 75* but I think it's because we have the a lot of electronics including my Photography PC cranking out heat.
  8. Actually, 1988. I'm not giving this one up. Not after serving me 24x7 for the past 24 years. Here, try this one at home, let me know what you think. http://wwwdelivery.superstock.com/WI/223/4039/PreviewComp/SuperStock_4039-70086.jpg
  9. She's posting another Triple because she can. Temp 3' above our deck that faces east just tipped 100* in the shade. Can't wait until 5pm and move this gauge to the front door that faces west. I know the metal on the front door gets hot enough to cause burns when it's got sun on it. Thought about taping a fish tank thermometer to it at one point http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/144566160/original.jpg
  10. Usually the lever is in the direction of the baffle. Thus if it's pointed down the middle of the pipe, it's open, if it's perpeducular, it's closed. The option we use in our master bedroom that's above the garage, has a vaulted ceiling and is huge is this: http://hostedmedia.reimanpub.com/TFH/Step-By-Step/FH09OCT_COLDRO_03.JPG Here's another external mount option. http://www.espenergy.com/booster_fan.htm it's a little louder in terms of a fan since the blade is small, but it really makes a huge difference. white noise at night and what's nice is it continued to run after the AC and HVAC fan stops thus it continues to pull cool air from the ducts for a few minutes. Turns on and off with temperature so once it runs out of cool air it shuts off - back on when the AC Starts. It's a simple $20 solution to helping keep the flow moving.
  11. I would only close the lowest level vents and shut them at the trunk with the diverter levers there.
  12. ^^ This. Again, to Tractor, if you've trained and studied in any form, that's one thing, to Yenner's point and like my initial one, a well structured self defense class isn't going to only contain moves that require one be a black belt in ongoing classes. None of the moves I taught/teach do.
  13. I'm sure it does. Every business has the bare bones entry level product/service price but just like Andy just noted about his services in a recent thread he is slammed and not able to take on the job mentioned.
  14. In his defense, Todd is a cool guy and was/is simply trying to foster a business model first. He was pretty upfront about it too and the reality is I doubt anyone here would front $500-$1,000 for the level of detail he provides. In the end, he's still real people and not at all stuck on himself as the other C&C group tends to be. Wheels on that car remind me of a C5 Z06
  15. Needs more hot chick feet and the other kind of "kitty" to be CR Worthy.
  16. At the rate the CR C&C is going, the number of exotics at Lennox is going to soon be > than the stick in the mud group. The main difference being the owners are actually good normal people.
  17. I gotta say I'm a Ford fan when it comes to trucks. Not only are they sharp and well built, but even the older ones are still around and doing well. I have two nieghbors with mi 80's F150's. Clay is yet another with one. They all just keep plugging away.
  18. I'm biggest pussy ever when it comes to heat. I'll try and show but if it's above 80 and muggy at 8am, I'll likely be a no show again. Odd to say it will feel good to only have temps his the mid 80's next week.
  19. I'm no HVAC Guru, but I don't believe in doing that. That I said I only have two vents in our finished lower level (Basement) and do have them closed as they are within feet of the main trunk. However, I would not do this on the main floor. My understanding of how HVAC systems function would lead me to believe this could cause a back up of colder air in the main trunk and too much of a slow down in flow across the indoor coil and not only decrease efficiency but could cause the indoor coil to freeze. I've been trying to read up on installing fans in the gables of our attic spaces to help. However, I've read mixed reviews and we already have a ton of ventilation up there in terms of hat vents, gable and soffet vents and adding a powered version could disrupt the natural non mechanical flow already in place. I'm not sure what else I can do other than perhaps add more insulation.
  20. Word is that the guys can relate to this. :gabe:
  21. Columbus Water - it's filtered through Kitty Litter
  22. What's with the black blanket covering the wreck ? Either way, Ben called and has dibs on the Wing.
  23. WOW! Could have ended a lot worse.
  24. WOW! I've not talked to him in a while. Looks like he has a serious insurance plan behind him.
