  1. http://usspost.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Rikers-Island.jpg Rikers Island is a well known facility. Always looking for good men. You'd be perfect.
  2. I only sell poster prints any more. The rest aren't worth it. My works is sold primarily as digital files.
  3. I want to go swiftly too but not as my skin is rubbed off by the ground below. I'll take tumbling in a car any day.
  4. Please tell that to my wife. Next Saturday I'll catch some pics of our Soccer event. 2,000 familes with maybe six sedans in the entire area. The rest are SUV's and minivans. You'd be surprised what a minivan can go through and over to park on an open grassy area. Marry up. It's financially better by a long shot. Again, Marry up and marry right and you too could be mortgage and car payment free. Kids....I don't care what anyone says. Best thing to happen to me. I'm having more fun with them than I ever thought.
  5. I think the new Ford Explorer is one of the nicest of the new SUV's out there. However, while we could easily afford one of these, I see zero point in spending that kind of cash on something to haul my kids around in. Seriously, better things I'd put that money towards. My Trailblazer LTZ stickered at $38k back in 2001 but my lease on it was dirt cheap. Like them or not Minivans are the best bang out there for families. Way less pricey Much nicer ride Tons of Creature Comforts More usable space More comfortable seating Cheaper to own I could go on but it's just my opinion Different strokes as they say.

Is he the fellow with the orange Mustang that was made into a Cobra or something like that? Young guy too!! Holy @#$#. Prayers man. Differences or not, CR issues aside, prayers to you and your son. Tim
  7. ^^ This. Kevin will save you.
  8. Sounds similar to my experience with their Billingsley location. I wish Derek and company worked closer than all the way downtown.
  9. Next mod needs to be an exhaust fan inside the car
  10. If it is real, Darwin Failed. Not sure why someone would make a fake of this. The only thing I could think of is he's such an idiot that it really did happen and he has logged into put comments suggesting it's fake to save some face. Pun intended.
  11. You have PM on Apple Picking. Pic whore time: Just a couple of my son from yesterday. When a crowd gathers. I call this Clumping. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/138891007/original.jpg Saving The Day http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/138891009/original.jpg How Not to Guard the Goal http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/138891213/original.jpg To Be a Kid Again. I would love to roll back time. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/138891008/original.jpg
  12. GLWS. My only insight to help the sale is to clean up the ad a bit. Potential buyers know it's age and likely need for some repairs. However, if you spell it out and as I read it, there's a ton wrong that I wouldn't want to mess with thus could turn a lot of people off. No need to list every single thing. Just trying to help, nothing more. Hope it does. Minor issues: Check engine light is on due to the oxygen sensor. I have a replacement Bosch O2 sensor sitting in the trunk that will be included in the sale. MAG VW told me $300 to replace. Airbag light is on, Not sure why, haven't pulled the code or checked any wires/fuses A/C blows warm air Given the nature of it, I would get the parking brake fixed prior to selling it. Just me though.
  13. Very cute pup. Looks to have some Boxer in her too.
  14. Nice ride. Fun for what they are for sure. Nice to see a fellow Canon Shooter too
  15. I approve. Nice run
  16. We have a nieghbor who was like this. His excuse was he travels a lot, etc...but all we know is it's a very nice house that he's letting go to hell. One day I say and older guy (neighbor) from down the street walk his craftsman mower over there. He fucking scalped the lawn damn near to the ground. Made a complete fucking mess for about about 2 hrs while the guy was gone. Couple more helped out blowing all the clippings into a pile. I think he got the hint as right afterwards, he had landscapers there for 2-3 days straight and now every weekend, they come cut his lawn.
  17. Unfortunately today sucked. I had hoped for much better than I got in terms of results. My games were at 1-3pm, harsh bright sun, windy as hell, fields and shooting positions sucked too putting the parents in the background. On top of that the kids were all clumping together around the ball too. Very few good shots. Good news is I secured team photos for both our opponents today and the team on the field next to me for next weekend.

I disagree, you take them out until the threat is eliminated. Who knows if that chic has a gun in her purse, etc... The moment I was slapped or hit, I would have gone into disablement mode and did what was needed to prevent her from continuing or coming at me. I most certainly would have told her to stop, stay down or I'll see her moves as a continued threat. Then called the cops. My guess is he was in adrenaline mode. She's lucky there wasn't a hot basket of fries nearby.
  19. ^^ exactly. I do lots of proof sheets. Today I have 6 soccer teams to photograph and will do exactly that. Clients get x number of photos from the shoot and games for X $$ and if they want more then they pay ala carte. Sun is out today which will hurt the 2pm games, but overall, it's been a stellar season.
  20. I hear ya. The sense of entitlement though can be completely eliminated by getting them to tell you what within your contract they are in agreement with and what they would like to change and then having them tell you what that looks like. It's only fair if they make a change then they come up with a counter offer right? Key is in asking them the questions. In my case, I've had clients ask me for all the images too, both good and bad. Some even bring me their memory cards. That's fine, they just want my services and skills and nothing more. Based on my contract I ask them to come up with what they then feel is appropriate. I get the occasional stubborn fellow that says it's my business and my place to tell him a price. I simply, put it right back on him by saying that I could do that, but instead prefer he make the first move on the counter as I have done with my initial contract offer. I go on to explain that it empowers them and puts the illness of creating a fair an equitable deal back with them since they are the ones asking for the change to my initial offer. I can't read minds and can't tell them what "success" or "fairness" looks like to them. It's a power-play and I play it soft as of course I want to make it fair. Just keep asking questions and they are forced to answer and eventually come up with a solution. Many times it's a better deal than I would have come up with too
  21. Sounds like Brian will need to turn over his plate and screen name to you soon :lolguy:
  22. So you think a client would feel you're being an ass if together you clearly agreed on a specifics up front? Wouldn't that clarity and open discussion lead to an even greater trust and sense of business acumen?
  23. In to hear what the ladies think not what dudes think of their own hair. :gabe:
  24. Sounds good. Contests. Side note, no real need to cover your plate.
