  1. Contrary to their findings, I'd still have Tara pee on me to treat a Jelly Fish Sting.
  2. So without question the owner supports cars and coffee events.
  3. Brian or Erik. Erik Schmelmer Landscaping Schmelmer Services (614)354-9575 He aerated and over seeded ours a few years back.
  4. I do. No need for them anymore. The coatings on newer quality lenses already filter UV and they don't protect the lens as well as a hood. If you bump the end of a lens on a brick wall or it tips and hits a hard surface it's likely going to damage the threads on the end or the impact will likely crack or damage one of the elements. Hoods prevent that completely as they absorb impact and cover the outer edges of the lens. They also prevent the front element from getting touched. Not to mention they cut down / eliminate glare and improve color and contrast. UV filters do exactly the opposite. Lastly, the quality of the elements even in a consumer lens far exceeds that of the one in even a top of the line Hoya Filter. No way I'm putting a filter in front of my lenses. The lens in my Avatar....filter......ah no. It uses a thread on lens hood made of alloy. It only comes off when I lock it in it's case. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v398/voodoo1694/800/IMG_8820.jpg
  5. Nice! Congrats! Now just e-bay that UV Filter and use a lens hood on every lens you have Glad to see it came with one. Catch some nice sunsets with clouds in the sky and color too. Fall is the best time for us here in the midwest.
  6. Jason aka OSUGT here on CR from Bob Chapman Ford is who I wholeheartedly recommend. Jason is the GM and it's a family owned business that I enjoyed supporting. Here is the link I created when I bought my Fusion Sport. 110% quality guy. He's a father now and busy with work and other stuff so hasn't posted here too much. Given his work limits internet stuff, CR just isn't as easy for him to access these days. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81867&highlight=fusion+sport I'll PM you his contact information. OSUGT
  7. I'll have to ask a friend at work who is deaf and reads lips. Kinda freaky knowing she can tell what I'm saying like that.
  8. Yep....tons are. I sold Riverside & St. Ann's their Document Management systems and worked with McKesson for years as they were a main client of mine. I also worked with Allscripts, another market EMR Leader. All compliant. Back on topic though.....Google Docs is for mom and pop and Billy and Karen but not for those requiring compliance like we do. If anyone in our organization were to upload to a non approved cloud, their PC and Phone would be shut down within minutes. Bye bye big dollar job too. I had one of my reps come close to losing their job.
  9. Ours passes all the requirement. We were just audited and in fact in some areas are still being audited.
  10. Not Secure for HIPPA Compliance, so not a fit for us. With Healthcare being one of the largest and fastest growing markets, I see Apple doing well as they are rolling out tool kits and security to line up with all the businesses like ours (we pilot a lot of Apple Products) too. So far we are loving what Cloud Capability is doing for us. One of our major vendors, and among the top 5, including us, in our space is moving to cloud for most all of their applications. Their IT Dept is set to save $6k per month at three locations just in HVAC Costs just be getting rid of a large portion of their IT Center. Google also isn't in line with Apple obviously, so for the average Apple Consumer it would be like buying a Ford and Taking it to Chevy for service. Not a good fit.
  11. Looks like the front end is made from leftovers of the previous generation Fusion and the wheels were stolen off the Focus. I'm all for it. I sank a more than a few pennies into Ford stock when it was dirt cheap and am happy to see them do well. Side note, the Fusion Sport has 26k on the ODO after just over one year with me and it's been solid. Brought it in for a few minor warranty fixes and not only were they 100% taken care of, Germain had the car detailed like a brand new car and didn't charge me a dime. Service has been stellar. No charge 3yrs of maintenance and free Sirius for 3yrs made for a heck of a deal.
  12. I won't speak for Jason, but those of us who use multiple devices in mulitple locations, typically for work, will utilize a cloud and look forward to it. My employer has set up our own cloud and all of us use it extensively to stay up to date and insure communication and collaboration is point and click simple. We set up our own to use between our Windows Based Laptops, the Airbooks that are also used, our iPads and iPhones primarily because we are in healthcare and need to insure compliance and privacy for the auditors.
  13. Loaded with groceries and baby strollers :gabe:
  14. lots of folks seem to have been but I have no clue as to why. It doesn't follow what their upgrades have been. However, I see the same thought process on guys in camera forums too. The 4S is more of an upgrade in features than the 3Gs was over the 3G. I do expect the next one to be a major overhaul and while I really am leaning to get a 4S just for S&G's, I am going to wait, install iOS5 on my 3GS and see what that gets me first.
  15. I hear ya. Over the years, I'm more into photography than cars. Mainly because I make money from it. If I was a good enough driver like some here who likely profit from their skills, I'm sure I would go that route instead Lightspeed Photography came about thanks to my love of racing and painting with light/photography. My business started shooting autocross several years ago. I've been involved in photography for over 20 years now. Absolutely correct. My pro body is an 8mp MKII and the 10mp 40D is my back up. I'll upgrade in the near future, but not until it will return money to my pocket by doing so. Thus far, I don't have a reason for a new body. ? my brain is fried....is that my thread/image? link me. You supply the girls and I'll join you
  16. Welcome Geoff! Certainly looks like you have the creative eye and I love the fact that you shoot with both a DSLR and Bridge camera too. I do as well and often toss in shots from everything under the sun. If it captures light, I use it. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Is that your Stealth?
  17. The fun factor of a wagon pulling 11's is something that makes me grin for sure. Like your family with the large SUV, we have a family hauler and title in hand so I'm not necessarily into having yet another car. I can see trading the van in on a couple year old V-Wagon in the near future. That would meet all three needs - family hauler - my ego/image driving it - ass-hauler on the road :gabe:
  18. So in follow up to the previous thread, I thought I would kill 10 minutes and make a ghetto version to save folks $15 or so. Just mock it up with a simple peice of 20lb bond paper, then trace the pattern onto some translucent plastic. Cut an extra piece to add a second layer to address the hot-spot where the flash originates. The back simply slides in between the body and the eyepiece and the front tab will easily hold in the recessed portion of the flash right above the nameplate. Works great too. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/138596573/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/138596572/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/138596571/original.jpg
  19. Bad ass. I'm a fan. However value wise, that's why I'm such a fan of the CTS-V Wagon. My wife and I would dig driving one.
  20. We're likely going to do both during the weekend of the 15th. PM me if you're interested in going that Saturday or Sunday. Perhaps the families could meet up.
  21. with LTE you likely will but then I bet the trade off will be battery life. no thanks. I can stream music and surf on the current 3G just fine so the bump to AT&T's faster network speeds will be most pleasing. Especially given the bump in talk time now provided.
