  1. If I told you how many times images of mine have popped up on other sites with others trying to take credit for them, you'd understand why. I find and have to fight at least one per month. I have software that imbeds/stitches a pretty tough code into my images and then scans the web for them. May not be 100%, but it's damn good. Honestly, that's why I put very few if any of my clients photos online, even password protected sites. With all the hype of the 4s, if I didn't I'd bet you any amount of money, images would be snagged.
  2. As a photographer, I love playing with new cameras of all types. I have 19 of them all together ranging from $90 P&S models to my professional grade DSLR's and love them all. Knowing the limits and capabilities adds to the fun of even snapshot shooting as a father. Overall, the phone did fine. Bright conditions are absolutely not the 4s' friend. I knew this early on as it really has a tendency to blow out highlights and the jpeg processing internally is really way to contrasty. That said the best ones really depended on the position of the sun. Today ranged from puffy clouds and blue sky to quickly going overcast and eventually quite cloudy. Fun was had by all though. Here are a couple early ones from today. 3. Very cool indeed! Steel wool and what? What's the technique/purpose, etc....if you can reveal your secret. Either way, nice job!

    Survival theory

Same here. Our family has hundreds of acres of land between us and the guns and trucks and more to make it work. We have a plan and are prepared for our best efforts.

  7. No, the if the recipient doesn't have iOS, they just get a regular text message as normal and as expected. My intent is just simply to not have to type or be distracted. In my car, Siri and Dictation functions just like the built in Ford Sync. Tap a button, say "text Joe Smith that my ETA is 5 minutes" and then Siri will pop that up on screen and read it back to me then ask if I want to send it. All within less than a few seconds. Works awesome! And it works just by pressing the same steering wheel control button too. Fully integrated out of the box. If you're not using a blue tooth system or Sync, etc...then you can either press and hold the Home button on phone or simply put the phone to your ear as if you are making a call. No need to call. Besides, in business, I often need to just follow up a phone call or have some type of text "back up" to what was said and texting works great for that. Make cents?
  8. Yes. I upgraded just last week and was grandfathered into the Unlimited data plan. The 4s kicks ass too. You'll love it. Just be prepared to never type and email or text again as the dictation through Siri is nearly perfect.
  9. It seems with all my travels as of late, I likely am the one who brought the virus into my home. Sadly it has since taken over completely. I don't think I will survive the attack as it's pretty bad. My Son was infected first http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/Inbox/IMG_2052web.jpg My Daughter was next http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/Inbox/IMG_2065.jpg My wife was hit the worst. Clicking her photo will show you a video of how angry she has become. Perhaps it will help her court battles. http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/Inbox/IMG_2070web.jpg Lastly, now I too have succumb to the virus. http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/Inbox/IMG_2068.jpg

I'll admit, even I'm a little disappointed that the Tigers were killed, but I don't blame the team that was there. I blame Ohio law and the legal owners who are the ones ultimately responsible for causing this carnage. Sad Yes, but it did have to be done.
  11. I should have made video of the plumbing when we moved into our house. I bet there was 30ft of flex copper line in my crawl space leading to the refrigerator for the ice maker. It was a spectacular drunken mess too.

I bet 95% of the Testosterone "hunters" would shit their pants if they saw a 400lb Cat or a Full Size Bear 25ft from them. I consider myself pretty good with a gun and even when I wasn't in any apparent danger, I left a little stain in my drawers when my family and I came upon a black bear last spring in southern Ohio. Even when it ran up a tree likely just as scared as I was.
  15. I've said that about a few of my wife's "things" too. Sometimes I get to do a few things, sometimes she says "no, not tonight" :dumb:

Yep. He's a big boy and roams free. We got him to fend off the Coyote's and since we've had him there have been zero issues. He's friendly in a bad-ass kind of way. The dogs piss him off and I think that has helped train him to hate dogs even more. The dogs are also learning to avoid getting stomped keeping them more alert too :gabe:

  18. Having fun with some cool features including the built in Siri functions led me to search online and this little gem. Enjoy! http://bestsiriresponses.com/

Crazy shit. I just got a call from the neighbor to our property out in Zanesville tonight who said our goats and chickens were going nuts around 10pm. I called the Sheriff out there to advise them to stop by our 50+ Acres as I have no doubt the animals are spooked by something serious. I'm thinking perhaps the storms?? My wife is a bit freaked out though as we go there a lot. We have one Donkey, 12 goats, 18 chickens, 3 horses and four Australian Sheppards on the property. The horses are ours the dogs are not and and they are all rounded up but I'm not sure an electric fence for chickens will keep out a mountain lion. I may have to make a trip out there in the morning but in all seriousness, I'm not too keen on roaming around the 25+ acres that are wooded when there are cats and bears that would also be on the hunt. Our property is a bit north of the site, but I'm not sure when they were let loose.
  21. Looks like a nice replacement for the Bird
