  1. they clearly knew it was their way of bullshitting American into a single payer system and leveraging even more entitlements for their voter base. agree.
  2. My guess is he picks the material and fit based on comfort. Ever notice he's either in a suite and tie, occasionally without a tie or he's in slacks with a golf shirt? Comfort clothing. He's a big oaf-lumpy dude and a properly fitting suit would likely be uncomfortable to him as it's meant to accent and flatter a far less heavy dude. I see it a lot that big guys just don't look comfy or feel comfy in suits vs someone who is trim. Add in the fact that he probably doesn't give a shit and that most are checking out his wife's body vs his and he knows it so thus a smug smile that he's banging it. In the end, it's not like a tailor couldn't pull it off, but my guess is he doesn't like the way it feels and he's in a suit for a lot longer per day than the average person wearing one for work and he says fuck-it, I'm going to be comfy and it's not like he needs a power-suit to prop up a weak ego as I think he has that covered.
  3. Joe I too was surprised but then we don't know everything in terms of how quickly we took back the kid from Cinci. that they had. I did mention to the wife, what if they put a virus or contagion inside him and sacrificed those that were in contact with him to ensure that bug made it over to our shores. Was he adequately quarantined during all the transfers and inspections, etc.? Doubtful. IMO if we didn't get hit with such a bug, we dodged a bullet and NK was dumb for not thinking of it. To the OP'er question, I think this is going to play out in terms of economic or cyber warfare not with the use of traditional weapons. Not yet anyway. I say that as they and we know if either crosses the red line, it won't end well for anyone. In our case we'll be seen as the bad guy that owns whatever damage is incurred and to them, they will likely be leveled to red hot coals either via conventional or nuclear. Once any type of nuke is fired, even one, the world will never be the same as then it will be the new standard of potential and likely use again....if there is another opportunity. My guess is China is holding out for a little something extra in their favor before they push NK into submission. It's really a matter of us uncovering what they want from us to help us out in a situation they really have not much of a stake in.
  4. Well said. However, I really no longer use the same POTUS standards anymore since it's Trump.
  5. Same. Performance Auto Spa also known as Dublin auto spa. Jesse is a regular at Cars and Coffee. They didn't excellent job in my Audi and I've heard nothing but good things in the referrals I've sent their way Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  6. Pisses me off too. I'm dumping them like a rock and going back to my own server again this month.
  7. In case that one gets pulled down. Like anyone didn't already know this though. Really, CNN.....LOL.
  8. it's because the masses who want gov't involved would rather lower the bar and cover more people. I say no thanks to that.
  9. it's been out of control and needs reigned in and I think the majority of people see that. I know how it works, but at the end of the day, here too, things are out of control. I do feel they need to balance the budget and without a doubt work on the debt. That is far far out of control. No one said eliminated; it needs to be brought down to minimal. We don't need the metric ton of bureaucracy to function. I can appreciate the points you try and make but like the gov't, you seem to enjoy making things too deep and difficult. It's not. This shit is out of control and needs brought down in size plain and simple. The knowledge problem is gov't likes to function complex BS because they can hide and play with the money when they do that. Running a well oil society doesn't need to be this messy. It's not that complicated. Has little to do with collusion and a lot more to do with keeping things pretty basic and people being held accountable. We don't need huge studies and thousand page reports to make decision on whether something is effective or not.
  10. I think there are a lot of people here who believe there actually is an over complicated set of processes to dole out money that we don't have towards a number of programs and a lot of pet projects. Overall the system needs to be made super simple and involve far less people and gov't than we currently have.
  11. Wife and I are looking to trade in the minivan but she's not quite decided on her dream car so we're looking for a mid-term newish SUV. Needs/wants: Small to Medium Size SUV Gotta scoot - she likes the oomph and torque of the minivan so base dull 4 bangers are out - open to turbos that move out decent though. 1-3 years old with low miles is fine. Ideal is 1-2yrs old with less than 20k on it Nicely featured but don't need leather or all the goodies Ideally $20-25k is what we would be looking at Thoughts from the crew appreciated
  12. Unfortunately I won't be there. I have a detail Saturday. It's in my garage now awaiting the buffer
  13. ^^ this. There's a similiar/same color one floating around me in Dublin/Worthington Brookside area. Haven't run up next to him but I'd love to check it out. After having coated Patrick's 4 runner (concrete color) I'm digging these grays more and more. I'll post pics up of his. Seems a little lighter but both are sexy.
  14. Great shots. Did anyone tell the STi that they were at the wrong Cars and Coffee?
  15. Not sure if I ever posted it, but last fall I had a 4.5lb rock get thrown into our minivan in a construction site while my entire family was in the car heading back from Easton. The Safelight guy said stock windshields are designed to prevent 5lbs from penetrating. That's the good news. Bad news is all of us were showered in splinters of glass from head to waist. If it wasn't for the fact that I make the kids wear sun glasses and I always where them in the car (wife needs glasses so she was safe), we would have likely wrecked and all been sent to the hospital. FWIW kids under age 21 do are far more susceptible to the negatives of sunlight than adults. I work in the Eye Car business and can say that while I won't wear a helmet, I will always and do always wear some type of eye protection in a car, on a bike. I never really "believed" in doing so but I knew what I have been taught. Thankfully that day, I had them on.
  16. I saw him say that on TV multiple times. LOL as he was so into his talking points and script that he didn't even process what he was saying. I also saw another interview a couple days ago where they kept saying there were 35k murders by gun every year too.
  17. I'm far from a marketing expert but with social media and the internet forums of today, I get 100% of what I'm looking for from referrals. CR and other forums from FB Pages my wife surfaces, etc. serve as a great resource. Not so much in the way of advertising but from direct referrals. IMO it's 200% critical that every single customer be a raving fan as it only takes 1 person to say you suck then others to then chime in and say either that or you're meh...and then you slip off the map for good. Work to track your customers by zip code and learn about what interests they have and perhaps tie together what they have in common so you can target those interest groups. That said, interestingly enough, I do 1-2 details per week and nearly all are from referrals or other forums where someone asks who detailed someones car and they point to me. I've also used nextdoor.com, Dublin Moms in the know FB, etc. with great success. Word of mouth spreads via social media fast and far far more effectively than any mailers or email blasts. Good luck man! I will be heading out your way as I need to go visit Dublin Auto Spa for a repair on window tint. Found them a few years back as a referral from someone here in fact
  18. We're not talking about coping with PTSD or mental illness. My daughter has Turets but doesn't need a "safe space" to deal with it or the reaction of other 11 year olds. She has far greater coping skills than most of the flakes we see on the news nightly crying about people wearing Sombraro's or Halloween Costumes or feeling threatened by public speakers or scared of Trump Supporters or fighting to remove whiteboards from dorm rooms, etc. The list of flakey behavior lately goes on....
  19. no but to your point, correct, I wouldn't likely be be expressing an opinion on something that didn't exist. The way I see it, is my son and daughter will have huge advantages over the losers that are "triggered" by being challenged or are afraid or insulted by being faced with a counter point to their view. We are creating wussies out of these kids; but hey, more power to the fools doing it. OMG I'm so afraid that Trump is POTUS and someone with different views is speaking at my school........aahhhhhh!!!! The Russians are coming and the sky is falling......
  20. I don't care what these colleges do. not sure why you assume I always anything. point being though, many colleges have come forth with exactly what I described. I stand by my pretty simple point.
  21. If grown men and woman actually needs "safe spaces" to go color, play with clay and generally deal with anything related to what's going on in this let alone any gov't administration, their going to have an extremely difficult time addressing life in the real world. WTF is this world coming to...
  22. ADT Pulse if they use a Smart Phone or if you want to keep tabs on things. Awesome set up. Not cheap at $35-$50 mo. range but worth it IMO. Nearly all wireless except for the main panel.
  23. That didn't take long! GONE!
