I ran mine with an 80-100w per channel Onkyo. Denon is decent too. The more clean the power the better.

^^ this. Paradigm speakers are timeless in design, construction, quality and of course sound. The reason for selling them is simply that we did a full remodel of our home and they don't fit the new design and layout of what we are doing and I simply don't have a need for them. Hate to do it but we have a home theater and a fully integrated surround system in our new great room. Wife doesn't want them around so it's the happy wife thing..... In the end, these will blow anything in the Magnolia room at Best Buy away so in terms of $900 for them, yeah, they are worth it.

We've all seen and read about Patrick's awesome Concrete Color 4 Runner, including his off-road adventures but we've not seen it all cleaned up and ready for show as a mall-crawler so here it is. This was part of a new vehicle prep. and coating package. Vehicle was completely decontaminated and polished out to reveal a super glossy appearance. Coating wise this one is protected by 22 PLe. Certainly a unique vehicle and super nice inside as well. Enjoy the pics! Hopefully get below 12.9's....

IIRC He said it should be done by early to mid August? I told him he could bring it back and I'll do the new parts up right so they match. Just needs to wait 30 days after they are painted before we can coat them, but I can use Some AAT505 to polish and seal them up until then.

I have a beautiful pair of Cherry finished Studio 60's V1 for sale. Perfect like new condition. Purchased at Audio Encounters in Dublin back in 2002. New Prices were as follows: Floor Units $1k Ea Center $800 Sub $650 Along with them I have a matching/paired Studio/CC V2 Center Channel Speaker and the corresponding 10" Powered Sub. Don't be fooled, it hits hard, is front firing and rear ported. If you're an audiphile that loves listening to music, especially vocals, these speakers will make you cry in joy. Read the following review for more information: https://www.paradigm.com/downloads/STEREOPHILE_Studio60_Review.pdf We used them as part of our surround system as well and paired with the above center channel and sub it was life-like powerful even in a huge great room with a vaulted ceiling. Here's stock photo but all items are available to see if you wish to stop by. Reply, call or text me if interested or if more details are desired. CR Price: $900 for everything and considering their condition and the fact that they were never abused, I wish I had found such a deal initially. Tim 614-795-4907 cell Stock photo, but mine are this color and solid wood. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165896508/original.jpg

Thanks! The swirls in sunlight were painful to look at. It was awesome seeing him pick it up in the same conditions too. Thank you sir! Can't say anything about the performance, but this one had a great clutch and gearbox. Don't laugh at the comparison but it was as easy and smooth as my S2000 from years back was.

So a fellow CR Member that doesn't post much came to me as a referral from another customer bringing a pretty cool color to my doorstep. I've not really noticed Ford's Grabber Blue until now but I must say, it's a pretty good looking color on this GT. The vehicle came to me with just over 3k on the ODO and after a long trip to Atlanta and back. Clean but lightly swirled, the car was sharp but definitely needed some clarifying to bring out the beauty of this color. The owner is pretty meticulous with his car and thus we went for a full correction and coating to ensure it's ease of cleaning and maintaining. Overall the car came out perfect and my crappy pics just don't do it justice. It's a pure non-metallic color thus like red and black, it's critical to get them perfected to make them really POP! Goal fully achieved. This one will be coming back for some touch up's to a new body kit and wheels once RTR is done with it. Enjoy! http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165895356/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165895357/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165895360/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165895359/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165895358/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165895367/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165895361/original.jpg

It's been a while since I've dug up images off my phone to post up and while I'm out of order in terms of dates, I'll start with this red beauty. As a referral from Patrick's father, this car came to me in good shape but in bad need of paint correction. Swirled with over 15 years of car washes and poor care, the Guards Red wasn't worthy of being on this Porsche and while clean, it looked like it was 15yrs old. The owner bought the vehicle from Byers about 2yrs ago. With just over 50k on the clock now, it's in great shape inside and out. The goal was to remove the vast majority of swirls, polish out the headlights and tails and finally ceramic coat it so as to keep it in great shape and minimize any need to wax it going forward. Given this is a nice weather only driver now, I think we're on track to meeting those needs as it's now swirl free and protected from the elements. I'm not a Porsche guru but according to the owner this is a poor-man's entry into the world of 911's being it's not the sought after air-cooled cars. Means nothing to me now as I'd rock the shit out of this all day as it's super clean and I love the styling. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165894884/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165894902/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165894883/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/165894885/original.jpg

A much needed bump although I still question their beating a 911 even if it's just to 60mph. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2017-porsche-911-carrera-test-review

I saw a charcoal grey metallic one on Snouffer by our house today. Plate was something like MSRP R or something to that effect. Looks better in person but they really need to tone down the busy look of the ass end. Something makes me LOL at a tiny hood scoop on it too.

Agree that this one looks pretty awesome. They do have some good content in their original stuff.

The past few weeks have been tough as I lost a good friend and neighbor suddenly as he went in for surgery and didn't make it. My wife has been helping his wife (who is partially disabled) make her way through bank accounts, and bills, etc. and the entire process of dealing with a sudden loss That said, one of the things they have not been able to do is locate the password for the family laptop which is running Windows 7. Is there anyone here who is skilled at helping reset it or get into it with a boot disk so that we can reset it for his wife? Thanks in advance for the assistance and willingness to help. I will take care of your time for sure. Regards, Tim

Haven't decided. I use several different ones but liked Photobucket for CR and other message board stuff. May just use Google photos as I have an account and already buy-up on plenty of storage. May use my own server too but I prefer to keep that for client work. Pbase is a 3rd alternative that I've used for over 15 years.

The difference is huge. All of our windows are Low E and when the front door was not it was the only area of sun the dogs would lay in because it was actually warm. Now that we have both doors replaced they look at me like WTF! Being our house faces west it is a must in the summer.
-
^^ this. However, I put a really nice one on the front so that we can keep the inside door open to let in light. It's a full-view glass pane just for light as I can't put the full screen in it due to the dogs. OUrs is a Pella on the front and we ordered it with the Low-E Option so heat is cut by like 80-90%. On the back patio we put a really nice Anderson door with the screen that pulls down from a self contained unit at the top. There too, we love to let the light in and when the weather is nice the breeze is great. Overall, they do protect the inside door and help seal out the drafts.

I also don't buy drug testing cost too much. All they have to do is outsource it to any lab like employers do. Cost is no more than $40 per person. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

I think a lot of the concern around entitlements is focused on the lazy not the disabled or elderly that would if they could put forth efforts. There's a skill and will in all of us and those that lack will are the point of contention for many. you're point may be a fair and true one Kerry but until no jobs are available it doesn't mean the subject above isn't also correct and worthy of a point. there are millions of decent paying jobs out there and available for blue collar workers. I won't even call those "opportunity" in America as that is something different, these are just plain and simple decent paying jobs that lots of people make a choice either not to take or choose not to improve themselves enough to take them. If they can't get to the job then move. it's not an outrageous comment or idea. again, I'll disagree to a large extent. this country is absofuckinglutely the land of opportunity. just ask any of the immigrants who steam-roll over the millions I'm referencing above who are the free-loaders of America. These immigrants go out and make shit happen and get jobs and make it work. It's time we demand that same expectation of drive and will from everyone. not sit around and complain or whine. the above is an excuse. they are choosing to not do a lot of things to maintain the easy-button solution. IMO that's not acceptable in today's world any longer. for many it is not a trap and allowing this excuse to cover for those that are legit needs to end. there are plenty of poor lazy and no-will people out there and there's tons and tons of scammers milking the system. I agree with your point on efficiency but it's time to close up all the gaps of inefficiencies vs tossing more of my hard earned money at the issue. it's time to fix the leaky bucket and stop turning the faucet on more. like your point above about a trap, it's partially true and lots of excuses. it's time to end the BS about slavery impact and discrimination, etc. there are now more than ever plenty of proven people both American born and immigrants just off the boat or plane that prove the system works for those that try. no one is expecting it to work for everyone as not every does get a trophy in life. let's end the BS about the this. stop arguing that people are talking about everyone being in that boat. you and he and everyone knows that's not true. flip side however is there is a ton of waste and yes poor people that are getting benefits that either shouldn't or need a deep hard kick in the ass with a big middle finger saying NO MORE that are the problem in this country. I have a neighbor who is now truly in a position of need. Long story short, 37 years married, never worked because hubby was awesome and had a great job but more importantly, she's more or less disabled due to a car accident years ago. No kids, no family, never was wealthy and now he's dead. She's got maybe $100k to her name plus a house and two cars she owns. Not poor but in bad shape as there's really no income and still expenses. She's in need and I think 100% worth helping. Contrast that with a person I have employed at our company making $16/hr. that is continues to breed (now has 4 kids) as a single mom, who knows how many dads for those kids, that works the FMLA system, etc. and is a real PIA that everyone wishes we could just fire and move on but they are making that a tough road for many reasons. It will happen but until then it's a drain. Sorry, but no, her life choices are vastly different than my neighbor above and the time has to come to where she is told to fuck off and that everyone in society around her is done supporting her. Those are the people bstowers and many others are done having to deal with and rightly so.

who doesn't have access to contraception? condoms are readily available and costs are not an issue. if people honestly can't afford or manage their own contraception and it's just too much to ask then perhaps they should be forced to be sterilized as we'll only be promoting the breeding of more dumb nuts. I disagree. If an employer such as a church or private company doesn't wish to offer it, they shouldn't be forced to do so. Not every employer offers all coverages. There are options the employee or potential employee can seek out their needs no different than anything else. Why an employer would even be made aware of ones personal life such as birth control use is beyond me.

start by clarifying the expectations and not bailing them out with other peoples money. for some reason we spend way too much time worrying about those that don't worry about themselves and trying to lesson the struggles of those that won't help themselves. it does a body good to put a little pressure on ones self to succeed. giving every kid a participation trophy or an endless number of mulligans isn't going to make anyone a stronger person. put the onus on them to pay for their mistakes or put some effort and their own equity into the bailouts they do get.

I think he's just asking you to keep your paragraphs to a few sentences because this is CR and a message board not a college thesis. When surfing CR many just want to chill and chat not bust a nut getting into the weeds.

we can agree to disagree on how to handle things. unlike you, I'm willing to take a stand and hold people accountable and not let my rights and life get trampled on as the easy way out. if you want to reduce gun violence, then do something about the fucking shit areas of town and those guilty of killing each other. I won't apologize about not giving a crap about gang bangers killing each other when those involved do little to fix their own situation and do tons to increase the problems involved. time for them to stop playing victim and become more than rats and start being contributing members of society.

^^ all that is still the responsibility of people, not those around them. sex and sex ed is pretty basic stuff and if grown adults can't teach their kids about it deep enough to prevent such issues or adults themselves can't figure it out, then we have a problem that goes back the 200+ years sex education has been a part of our school system. That's sad really. It's time we as a society hold people to better expectations that constantly having them blame others for their problems or to have other bail them out on poor life choices. YMMV, but I choose to encourage raising of the bar vs lowering it.
-
in theory perhaps but everyone will not act fairly or responsibly. many of the above boil down to personal choices. no I'm not going to budge from the 2A as there's no need. that problem needs addressed properly not be fucking with 2A. agree. I'll add in people need to lead the charge in their own health care both in terms of how they manage their lives but also in terms of how they pay for things.
-
boils down to personal responsibility man. parents need to parent and teach their kids and actually be involved in their lives. sex education and prevention isn't a difficult concept.
