  1. If the weathers good I might make it. The Roush hasn't been out from under it's covers since Memorial weekend.
  2. On call that weekend so I can't help.
  3. That was interesting. It was caused by slicks trying to grip the track one tire then the other. Apparently it's not uncommon with a radial slick. I made some suspension adjustments and tighted up the shocks and got rid of the rocking. I just replace the rear shocks with a set of drag racing shocks as the other ones were more for the street. I haven't been to track since. Maybe this weekend.
  4. I thought my car was fast enough it need a wing so I left the trunk open. Do you think that will work?
  5. I did lift a couple times and would settle down until I got back on it.
  6. The new wheel and tire combo gave me fits on the first three runs. The car was rocking back and forth under power to the point of being out of control. I switched back to the old wheel and tire combo and all the problems went away. I did run PB on that combo 9.79 @ 135.93 with a 1.38 60'. That is a tenth slower than last year's best on the bigger used tire I experimented with. At this point I need to find out if they bent a rim when they mounted the new tires or if there is a problem with the new tires.
  7. Nice video your hard work is appreciated.
  8. A friend of mine is doing a front disc brake conversion on a 62 Pontiac Tempest and needs some machine work done on the original hubs so the new rotors will fit. Any recommendations?
  9. It is the one with James May.
  10. Hope it's not a repost. http://www.wimp.com/breathtakingfootage/
  11. http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/2902731984.html Pro Stars 15x12 3.5 in back spacing 4.5 in bolt circle will fit Mopar or Ford. ET Drags are 31x13x15 with appox. 50-60 runs. $600.00 OBO I bought these at Jegs in 2009 and they cost me $1100.00 at that time. Tires are screwed to the rims. Jim 614-937-1571
  12. Joe Lease 937-593-5958 This is who did mine in 2010. He charged $30.00 and NHRA fee was $150.00. He is in Bellefontaine but also is in and around Columbus quite a bit.
  13. I would give it a try in the Mustang. I don't think the Cuda is going to corner too well these days.
  14. This is from the 2011 rule book from roll cage section. If anybody wants a copy of 2011 rule book PM me your email and I will send it to you. 15. Thanks, I am looking at a couple more car setup changes. This was on a used set of Hoosier slicks that are taller and have 3 inches more roll out than the M/T slicks. The Hoosier's are a little too narrrow for the new rims so I am looking at a new set in the spring that will match up better now that I know the results. Also I may make a gear change as we are still to far over the peak HP RPM at the traps.
  16. Here is my final time slip for the year. I made some progress this year. 17. Looks like a good time I missed out on. I didn't get back from Edgewater till around 7PM then had to unload the trailer and put old Blue away for the year.
  18. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. Keep up the good work.
  19. I was thinking the skinny ones on the back may hook up better.
  20. I am thinking of going to Edgewater Saturday. They have a Test and Tune 12-5 weather permitting if anyone is interested. I need to sort out the new tires.
  21. I had a good time. I couldn't get the new tires to hook at all but they did help on the back half of the track. As always is was fun hanging out with Doc and meeting Shaun.
