Could be a motherboard issue if not enough power was supplied to the computer during the brown out. I suggest you try the sound card in a friend's working computer to rule out your motherboard. Also you might want to invest in buying a UPS instead of your surge protector. It cleans the power going into your equipment. Also if you do have a brown out it switches to battery and won't damage your equipment. They are expensive but worth the money.

I did have an implant in my chest for 3 years. It was a metal bar curved to fit over my sternum and ribs. It was also bolted on both sides of my ribs with 1 inch long clamps and surgical steel wiring just to make sure the bar never moved during daily activity. Then after 3 years they removed it all. I used to be able to sleep anywhere before I had my chest surgery. Now I can only lay flat on my back unless I want to be in dull pain the whole time. It pisses me off so much because I rather lay on my side or stomach but I can't do it for more then 15 minutes. Sometimes I wake up on my side in lots of pain. It gets real annoying when that happens almost every night.

Bullshit my previous Realtor was an idiot and I guess it was my fault as well but processed my offer without the seller paying the commission. I told her originally I wanted the seller to pay the commission and she said she would take care of it. I ended up paying 1.5K on top of the asking price and all the other lawyer and mortgage fees. Yeah there used to be one in my work's parking lot but it was removed. There is one over by tuttle mall parking lot. Those are super easy all you need is google maps satellite to find them. My problem with my blackberry application is I have to walk for it to find my position. If I am standing still it gives weird readings all over the place. It does have an arrow that points to the location I enter but it doesn't help when it points in all directions... I tried some harder caches but with random readings it was very difficult and I gave up. I would be up to doing a CR cache find if it was on the weekend.

Road trips are always fun. I suggest camping like others have said. It is really easy to find campgrounds while traveling and it is cheap. Don't bitch about the cold it really isn't that bad in October and you can get sleeping bags that are made for cold weather. WHAT THE FUCK. There is so many things wrong with this I don't know where to start. I can't believe there exists such law enforcement officers as described below. I am going to make a wild guess and say that the homeowner was in his underwear or at least "dressed down" while holding probably a fully clothed intruder at gun point. How this was within "policy guidelines" is beyond me. Even if the LEO thought the guy with the gun was the robber wouldn't you think he would be fully clothed?
