  1. I have two RZR 800's and they get going a lot quicker than you think they are going and they also don't like doing things that 4 wheelers handle with no problem. Jumps and kicking the back end out on turns are the big two. The big problem is the lack of respect people have for these things when they get behind the wheel. They are lucky they didn't die with no helmets on. 5 point harnesses vs the crappy factory seat belts are to thank there.
  2. I'm just going to say if this happened to my family, the ending of the story would be a little different.
  3. it does though, because if you have nothing in it, then they will say it's intent. Just like this guy. Its a perfect excuse for them to go on a fishing expedition.
  4. Wow this law is absolute BS. They are my cars, if I want to make secret compartments to hide milk in, that's my decision. I love the fact the government tries to control every single aspect of our lives. It's only going to get worse too.
  5. I fully support the change. I think the current 12 hour course is a joke. I really don't think anything more than passing the background check and test is needed. Everybody already has the right to open carry, don't really think concealing it should be 'that' much more difficult. Only other thing I'll add, is that some think that taking a 12 hour class is going to make people more knowledgeable. I promise this class isn't going to fix stupid. I don't care how long you make it. You'd be better off with a compentancy test. But of course, the idiots of the world would cry foul.
  6. Wife had a 2010 Traverse and put 50k miles on it and never had a single problem. Just bought her a 13 Acadia and it's just as nice. My biggest complaint is the gas mileage. It's really a joke. She averaged 16.5 in the AWD traverse and is getting 17.5 in her fwd Acadia. It's basically a mini van with different side doors, so there is no reason mileage shouldn't be better. But all in all they are great vehicles if you want comfortable seating for 6.
  7. Nice pictures! This is a great time of year to see the bucks moving. Shot this on the 4th. My biggest yet! 18 scoreable points. http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/6972/sz0r.jpg
  8. I need power run out to a pole barn, including lights and several power outlets. I also need power run to a hot tub. I thought someone was coming out today, but they never called or showed up and I need to get this done soon. Both power runs are fairly long. 100' to the tub and 150' for the barn. Let me know! 9. If she's in Preschool, just wait to see how she finishes up the year. You'll be surprised how quickly they grow. If they don't think she's ready they'll let you know. Plus with progress reports, you'll be able to help her in areas she needs more assistance in. The going to college at 17 vs 18 by a few months doens't make a difference. I think your putting too much thought into this. She'll be fine!
  10. When I heard them talking about this on the radio, the driver was recording the car because it was driving erratically. Regardless, I can't imagine someone pulling a gun on another car driving down the freeway.
  11. Hoyt makes a nice bow! Good luck with the sale. Can try Craigslist, I'm sure with deer season around the corner a lot will be looking.
  12. I get all my physical gold/silver from Gainsville. They seem to be the cheapest over spot. Sometimes good deals can be had at APMEX. There are also ETF's that you can trade where you can avoid the premiums. Even if your talking about 100 oz brick of silver, spot price may only be .75 cents over, but that's still 3.5% you have to make up. So if in it short term, ETF's may be something to consider, but if your in it for the long haul and don't plan on selling ever or 20+ years from now, then I'd go physical.
  13. Allens up in Westerville will buy them for melt value or maybe .50 cents off melt value.
  14. You got me before my edit. Regardless sled, let us know what you think of them after driving them both. I know my friends 2012 ram interior was pretty nice and the extra room in back is also nice. But I'll let Spankis correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think you may be stuck with a short bed if you get the mega cab?
  15. Actually I remember the review now... the stopping distance on the ford was terrible... lol. That aside it's still a good review of the big 3. But as Spankis has noted, appears to be some changes to the motor/trans that may be worth noting.
  16. Noted on the DEF, I didn't know that they already had to meet the requirement. I thought they had another year to go. Here is a review, just glanced at the dodge, and it pretty much what I was saying about being slower and fuel economy. http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/2012-ram-2500-laramie-longhorn-4x4-mega-cab-page-2
  17. How important is rear seating? If you want it to be comfortable for taller people, then the Dodge is the only one that has a ton of room in the back for passengers. If this is something you don't care about, then I would go with the Ford. There are some really good comparison tests out there with the big 3. You'll get better milage towing with the Ford over the Dodge(which I could careless about the cost of this as much as how often you have to pull over to fill up). The Dodge is also really slow. It's quite unbelieveable how slow my friends 2012 Ram Dually is. There is a drag race of the big 3 where the Ford/Chevy put buses on the Ram. While my goal isn't to race the thing, I do want a vehicle that can get out of it's own way. As far as service goes, I can't speak for dodge trucks, but I have never had a single problem with any Ford Truck I've ever owned. I buy them and they never see the dealership again until I'm ready for a new one. My 2011 Chevy 2500 Duramax was the same way with the exception they could never get the truck to drive straight. For me the only saving grace for the Ram is the fact you don't have to use DEF and the interior is better(I don't care for the brown of the King Ranch F350's, haven't seen a platinum to compare) Hope this helps some.
  18. Called and left them a message, thanks! Should be good on steel, getting a package from Yoder Lumber. I just want to get this thing started asap. Delaware has been a pain to deal with. Guess I should have told them it was for cows, then I wouldn't of had to do any of this.
  19. I'm in the process of trying to get a pole barn built, and need the plans signed off on by an architect. So if someone can point me to a person/company that may be able to help, I would appreciate it! Thanks! Jason
  20. I wish I had alsmost every sports car I ever owned back. I probably miss my 06 Viper Coupe and 07 Z06(when it was stock) the most. The ones I really could care less about 2010 GTR and 2010 Camaro. Neither did it for me. I would have liked the Camaro more if it had stripes, was an auto, and some go fast parts..
  21. lol.... Mark and I were roll racing on 270 about 12 years ago, him in his 99 TA, me in my 98 Vett. We got off 3-4 roll races and on the last one we saw the lights way behind us. This lady highway patrol pulls us over and was super cool about it. Gave us both speeding tickets, but was laughing that it took her forever to catch up to us, because by the time she got close, we'd take off again. By far my most memorable encounter with the police while racing.
  22. I've been looking at buying a hunting property for quite sometime. Generally what I've seen is banks wanting 20-40% down and I've seen terms up to 20 years. Good Luck and if you pick it up and have a major deer problem, let me know I can help.
  23. I'm not sure why but the way the guy was talking and the McDonalds reminded me of this. lol
  24. On the lawn rolling. I've heard that it really compacts your soil and overall is bad on your yard. Any truth to this? I guess other than this, there would really be no easy way to do it, other than regrading the property.
