  1. Went back to BPS and after sitting on a couple there, I think it may be the upgraded suspension seat they have on my mower that's causing all the problems. I'm going to take it back to them on Friday and get it all figured out and ride some of their other mowers. I already spent the money with BPS and wouldn't dare ask for them to refund my money so I could go to another company. I guess once I spend money with someone, I feel I made a comitment to that company. The suspension seat is not bottoming out, I actually think it's just too springy. The wife said when I was cutting the yard, the mower barely moved, but I was all over the place. When comparing the upgraded seat of the Exmark to the Scag, the Exmark is done with springs while the scag feels like it's done with shocks. So when you sit on the scag it just absorbs your body and slows your decent, where the exmark just pushes back like a trampoline. The mower was like $7800, so it's not a cheapy, but certainly not top of the line compared to some of the ones they have. If I end up not being happy with the exmark, I'll probably get a Scag with their upgraded seat. Cost another $2k, but if I'm going to be on it a couple hours a week, then it will be worth it in the long run.
  2. Yeah, both yards need rolled for sure! But the Toro doesn't buck like the exmark does. Maybe it's the bigger tires? No clue, guess I'll take a field trip back to BPS to ask them. Mojoe - I'm going to send you a PM about the CCW class.
  3. We have used Myfax for years and do thousands of faxes a month. Very easy to send faxes and recieve faxes by e-mail. Not sure about the certification though.
  4. So, I'm building a new home in Galena that has 5.5 acres of land and 4 of it is all grass. I'm wanting a zero turn that doesn't beat me to death. I have a 42" toro and it's been a great mower for my home now, but would obviously take me a week to do the new house. So I went out to BPS and picked up a new Exmark 60" Pioneer with their $800 upgraded seat and that thing absolutely sucks to drive. It's so bad that if you aren't going 2 mph, it will buck so much it makes you hit the bars forward and back, making it nearly impossible to make straight lines. The first time I used it, was at the new land and I thought it was just bumpy as crap because nothing has ever been done to the land to really level it off. Then I used it at my house, and no, it sucks there too. So needless to say, I'm probably going to return it to BPS and get a different one. My options will be picking up a Scag or an upgraded eXmark. I know some here do lawn care, figured some may have experience with both? Thanks! Jason
  5. Just shot one of these on Monday, tasted great that night! Mine was just a jake, the big one like the one pictured above wouldn't come in close enough. I'm really hoping to get a big one this year, they aren't the easiest creatures to hunt for.
  6. I agree! 50x150 would be pretty awesome! LOL I got a quote from 64 metals in St. Lousville. Came out to 35k for a 40x50 or 27k for a 30x50. 8k for concrete (5") and 9k for labor 9k. Seems like there is certainly some room for cheaper labor prices. Of course I dont know what it takes to build one either. lol
  7. I'm in the process of building a new home and want to add a pole barn. I can't decide if I want wood or metal. Does anybody have any recommendations for companies that do good work? I'm wanting a 40x50. Thanks! Jason
  8. What do you call a 2010 mustang GT that lost a street race? . . . . . . . . . Got died (ls_sonoma)
  9. Well, coming from a huge street racer 10 years ago, I don't have a problem with this bill. Columbus is entirely too busy. When I first started back in 97 there would be no cars on the freeway at 2am. Today the roads are packed. In addition, fast cars when I started racing were low 11's and had plenty of traction on the freeway, now cars can't hook from a 60 roll. It sucks, but times have changed and the racing needs taken to a track.
  10. :funny: You just can't make that up
  11. Reminds me when I was 15 and my friend attempted something similar. Landed and there was a car on the other side. He swerved to avoid hitting the guy and we ended up a few hundred yards into a corn field.(corn was down thankfully) At least the only one risking their life in the video was the driver. They were monitoring the traffic.
  12. This is exactly what we deal with. $13/hr customer service job. Or $20/hr sales job. 100 applicants 10% fail to give a resume, e-mail some stupid question already answered in the job description. 20% have misspellings on their resume or other random errors. 20% have work histories that have more holes than Swiss cheese. That immediately leaves you with 50. Eliminate the bottom half and start calls for a quick 3-4 question(does the person have a brain) phone interview. After all they are phone positions. Of the 25 you call, 50% don't answer or return your call. The 13 you get ahold of, half can immediately be eliminated for phone voice, or plain ignorance. Schedule 7 in for face to face interviews. Half don't show. Hire the best 2. First one quits within 2 weeks or never shows up the first day. Second one sticks around 6-12 months till they find a job at chase or some other company. Rinse and repeat.
  13. I got real lucky at the show today. Picked up a remington 870 express .410 full choke for $400. New in box. Only one I've found was used up past Marion that was $650. Also an express. There was a real beat up 1100 .410 the guy wanted 1k for.. Leaving was annoying, had 100 people ask if I was selling it. One guy asked my 11 year old daughter because he couldn't catch up to me lol. When you buy online, where do you have the gun shipped, and how hard is it? I see good deals, but don't know how to do the purchase.
  14. You want a memorial for some dead fish... Go ahead and waste your own money on it. Don't forget the animals and environment your impacting by making the memorial and installing it with your vehicle that is causing global warming, that in turn will kill the polar bears and penguins.
  15. I'll probably swing by at some point. Really wanting to pick up a remington .410. 1100 or 870. No luck the last time I went. I picked up 1000 rounds of 556 at the last show for a real good price compared to the cost of the same ammo at Vance's. Can't remember what I paid, but I think it was 5 cents per round cheaper. Plus no sales tax...
  16. The habitat in ohio isn't what it use to be. So, the wild population has dwindled down to small pockets in a few parts of the state. ODNR doesn't even release female birds because they said they don't live. I believe if you want a true pheasant experience, your best bet is public land in other states. Then if you don't have dogs, I'm not sure what your success rate would be? Good luck this morning. Report back!
  17. From everybody I talked to, it's pretty packed and dangerous. I took my son last Sunday for the youth hunt and it wasn't too bad, but you were still all over other people. I got one kicked up for my son, and he took so long to get the gun up and ready he never got the shot off lol. Then later that day he shoots a nice buck. So I guess he had a good day regardless of missing his pheasant. If you go out, good luck! As soon as Rut is over, I'll have my dog up there running rabbits. Btw, if you like pheasant hunting, go to one of the pheasant farms. And do the guided hunt with their dogs. It's a BLAST!! If you want someone to go with to split costs, I'd be down.
  18. I have to agree. Police officers have a tough and dangerous job. I understand that they deal with a lot of scum on the streets. Where they lose my respect is when they pull people over like my wife for going 10mph over on a 65mph zone and just rip her a new one. Plus as already mentioned, nothing you tell the police can be used to benefit you, it can only be used against you. So why volunteer anything? I'm not saying I would create a scene at a check point, but I understand why people would. Also as another poster pointed out on another thread about open carry, someone has to stand up for our rights.
  19. Let me know if you have one your interested in selling. Thanks! Jason Wrong forum, same people. Move to correct one if you want
  20. Here is my handgun collection. Was time to check them all over and make sure everything seemed to be functioning correctly. The ones I wanted loaded were and ones I didn't were not. Figured I'd shoot a picture and post them up. 22 plinkers: Beretta U22 Neos, Walther P22 9mm guns: Kahr P9(wife's ccw), Shield, 2 x M&P's .45 1911s: Kimber Ultra Carry II, Wilson Combat CQB Then 50 Cal Desert Eagle and 38 Special S&W. The Desert Eagle was given to me on trade with an old business partner. Never been fired and I think I'll keep it that way. I've shot them before and see no reason to dirty this one. http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b603/LPFSTheFett/82AD6382-43B0-4E08-B347-9958786F804B-3126-0000005D096BDBFB_zps210f110f.jpg
  21. My favorite was the guy in the camper that slowed down, because slowing down makes your camper shorter. Lol
  22. Basically yes, just 12" instead of 3. They have them at sports authority
  23. I could understand the back, but why did he have those HUGE tires up front. Car looked ridiculous.
  24. That was just painful to watch and listen to. Don't forget Dwigs already beat this car too. The lead free computer insures no failures or traction problems.
