I beat the living shit out of my GTP for six years and blew the motor finally at 220k miles. The original transmission was still in it and working perfectly fine. I ended up swapping the motor/trans/supercharger out with stuff from an '04 supercharged Regal after that. Still don't have my wiring harness quite right
