  1. I have 4 points on my license, one is a stop sign, and the other was a red light. No speeding, my failure to control is off my license now, so my record is not terrible. I understand where you are coming from about not needing a 600 bike, but what are the odds of reselling a bike for close to same value that you payed for it? I always say if you are going to do something, do it right the first time as far as purchases go. And yes, I plan on buying in cash. Also, what is recommended for your feet? I absolutely hate wearing boots because of how heavy they are on your feet. Does anything else offer good protection with durability and lightness? Ideally something you could just walk around in daily, but still ride in.
  2. Very cool of you. How often do you play hockey? I hope it does not snow. Then the money I got for snow tires will go to the savings account.
  3. I'm not looking at anything new at all. I'm looking in a 3-4k price range. What is considered low miles, and high miles on a bike? I don't plan on doing/ trying any wheelies/ stunt anything anytime soon, if at all to be honest with you. My friend has a dirtbike I'm sure he would show me some basics on to get me started. Thanks for the start off help. So other than a SV650, what other bikes do you recommend looking at? Also, lubing chain is what every 500 miles?
  4. For the past year or just over I've been up and down on getting my motorcycle license, and purchasing a bike. I do plan on signing up for the safety classes when registration opens. I'm used to driving a manual tranny, and don't plan on going 6ft underground anytime soon so safety is my first concern with all of this. I know the proper gear is a must. Basically I have a few questions. What is the average cost for riding gear. I've been looking into a GSXR 600, early 2k models. I don't want something with to much power, but I want to be able to have some fun when that open road is there. Basically, give me the noob treatment on Cost, Maintenance/ Upkeep, and most important, safety of which I have not listed above.
  5. Just wondering because the one at SLoopys was 6, and I know a few people that play 13. 13 cup is fun, and a lot more challenging. I suggest you try it. The only different rules are the re-rack rules.
  6. It just looked like a stupid movie. I'm waiting for Pineapple to hit the shelves at the stores. It just seems predictable. He get set up to race and boost tele ratings. They try to kill him, he fucks up the people that run the prison and the show. Am I right? I'll watch Kill Bill for some ass kicking movie scenes.
  7. I thought this movie looked like shit. Might be something to purchase then. Is it worth buying it?
  8. Silver is free but it does not allow you to play games online. You have to get gold membership. Since you want to play just a little, make a new account for online every time the one you were using runs out. You will lose all of your accomplishments from your old profile, but it's still free for 4 times. Spend the 50 and get a years worth if you can though.
  9. People leave their houses? I call :bs:
  10. Oh, for all of you people that did not know, you actually get 3 or 4 free x box live one month free trials. You have to make a name each time, but either way it's still free if you are low on cash. Just create a new profile name, go through all the set up stuff, and at the end of it keep the silver membership. It will tell you that you have a free one month available. Each 360 console allows this. It's 3 or 4 of them. Just an FYI. It depends on the person for memory. When I had my box I had 9g left of room, but all I played was NHL 08 and COD4, and I had a few arcade games like Worms and stuff. The new stuff they added to xbox may take a lot more memory now than what it used to, but I'm still going to say you should be fine.
  11. And everyone that plays PS3 online sucks at the games they play. There is no competition, half the people don't use head sets.
  12. PS3 online gaming is poo poo. XBox has a deal going on for 30 dollars you get a 20g hard drive, and 3 months xbox live gold. Get on their site and look. The 20g will be enough memory for you.
  13. I had a 20g for a good 6 months and had not even used half of it I don't think. I'm a 2 game kind of person. All I used my box for was NHL 08 and COD4, and I had a few arcade games on there. With the connection thing they have that allows you to connect to other computers in the house, you don't need to save any of your movies, or any of your songs to the hard drive so that helps to free up a lot of space.
  14. Very nice car, low mileages for the year too. Good luck on the sale.
  15. This makes me just want to buy someones arcade off of them for cheap and get the upgrade. The 20g hard drive is more than enough memory.
  16. As far as money that was in the stock markets yes almost all of it is gone.
  17. I think the minimum is 25 instead of 10. Maybe not, I'm not 100% on that. Playing in the market a LITTLE is probably still a good idea when the economy starts to rebound. My grandparents did EXTREMELY well in the market before the crash. Before the crash they had enough money for more than half of my tuition for 4 years of school.
  18. The 529 is a protected college plan. My grandparents played in the stock market for part of my college fund, and my mom just did an annuity for me for money. None of those are protected, so quite a few thousands of dollars were lost in this last year. At least two full years of tuition at OSU is gone now. Play the stock game CD's Annuities Bonds
  19. Yes, it will work at any Marcus theater. Sorry if that was confusing. I just meant the one in Pickerington was closest to me.
