I don't know if anyone that commented in this thread actually started climbing yet. I go to Vertical Adventures at least 3 times a week now so if anyone is looking to climb I'm always willing to go or, for anyone looking to take the class I'll go with you so you have someone to belay and you can get certified. I took my first trip to the Red River Gorge last week and the climbing there is great, I can't wait to get back there when it warms up again. Most of the climbers I talked to there said RRG is some of the best sport climbing in the world next to Spain. I highly suggest taking extra firearm training classes/ running lots of drills while shooting so that you can be prepared for an attack. Just standing shooting at the range doesn't do a whole lot to prepare you for an attack. The point of your CHL class is to make sure you know how to handle a firearm safely so you can carry it around in public. My CCW class went over the 12 hours and I took a lot of valuable information home with me. I also think I had two very very good instructors teach my course.

Well just an update. I ordered some midweight Polartec Patagonia lower protection and Cabelas has a sale on their Polartec ECWCS base layers right now if anyone is interested in picking up some gear of their own. I got to test out the midweight ECWCS stuff from Cabelas today and it seems to do the job in the weather we have today. It seems like it'll do the job while climbing and I hope it holds up while I'm sleeping in the hammock.

I have a climbing/ camping trip coming up next week at Red River Gorge and Iwant to get some compression base layers to stay warm and protect against wind. I also plan on using these for hunting this year as well. What do you use/ suggest? The only brand I really know about is Under Armour. What other brands should I be looking at if any at all?

This, I was waiting 7 months for my Osprey 9 to get into GE, still another 7 months on the paperwork wait. People need to be patient. Stuff is just getting back to normal from Sandy.

Your camera was set to make them that large. Put them in photobucket or something similar and size them down.

I don't hate on all Kel Tec guns. I've shot many of them and for what they are they're great. The PF9 on the other hand isn't something I'd trust my life with, or use as a back up to trust my life with.

I would never trust this gun as a CC gun. My buddies got sent back to get all internals replaced just after 1000 rounds. They have a great warranty dept. for sure but, it's very common for them to fail.

You can keep your number that way but, Verizon and ATT have the same prices for everything, you won't be saving any money at all if you go with a contract through them and get the same things you have with ATT. Also, remember to check the coverage maps with "Go Phones". They are very different than if you sign up on a contract.

I felt the same way about the Note 2, now I want something just a tad bit larger. I wish I had an upgrade available, I'll be waiting for the Note 4 I guess.

Note 3 or S4 Are you on a "personal" plan now? I don't think you can port your number from ATT to pre paid att. If you cancel your line that number is held for 6 months also. ATT reps in store are normally dumb as shit, call the customer service line 1 800 331 0500 or talk to someone through the online chat. ATT GO has a lot less coverage as well vs non GO so look at the coverage map, it may be worth it for you to move to Sprint from ATT depending on what features you want to have (Interwebz, texting, talk). Also, look into getting a google voice number and making that your primary number from now on so you don't run into this situation again.
