  1. Looks to over penetrate for a defense round. I want a defense round to stop inside of my intended target, not go through it.
  2. Great gun. I have a K9 for my EDC. This is at a great price too!
  3. If you think it's something you'll use daily look at reconditioned Vitamix or the Blendtec.
  4. aspen ski and board rents out boots for 50 for the season. I'm sure they'll be pretty inexpensive for a one day rental.
  5. Swarovski and Zeiss both have a few options that would be close to your price range. The Viper PST would also be a great start as suggested above.
  6. What's the largest size boot that Burton board will allow? 10?
  7. I'm going to MRM tomorrow all day. I'm still shaking off the rust from not boarding for about 10 years though. Anyone else going to be on the hill?
  8. Climbing ratings go from 5.5 to 5.15. I do climb outside regularly when the weather allows. There is Red River Gorge and New River Gorge within a 4 hour drive and some of the best sport climbing in North America is in these two places. I currently have a 10 day trip planned to start in Chattanooga, TN and work my way North through Tennessee in April. The climbing gym is a good place to get started in climbing and work on whatever you need to so you can progress outside. You'll find some muscles groups you don't work out in any sort of gym environment. I need to start utilizing the weight rooms to help promote muscle growth in some areas. Soon I'll be climbing with a weight vest but I want to let my tendons in my fingers get stronger first so I don't hurt myself before the warm season.
  9. Whatever you go with it's not a bad idea to get two pair and switch between them daily to keep them in good shape.
  10. I go to the climbing gym about 5 days a week. I started about 4 months ago. I'm trying to break into 5.12 climbing before spring.
  11. I just picked up a board the other day. What's everybody's opinion on seven springs? Is it worth the trip?
  12. Depends what you're looking for but GunEnvy gets my business if I'm purchasing new. They'll normally order something in if they don't have it in store already.
  13. Look on EBAY for broken tools and get them replaced under warranty.
  14. Drawing is at 11. I don't know how late you get to purchase tickets.
  15. If you're going to get into it than spend the money on a decent semi auto. I got my CZ 912 for 420 or some price close to that used. I'm happy with it but if I were to do it over again I'd have spent a little more and got a Beretta 390 with wood furniture just because I like the way it feels just a tad bit more. I'll be getting a SA 20ga for practice before I upgrade the 912 though. If you buy a pump you will end up selling it to fund a semi auto. Here is my thread from a few months back on this topic. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114269&highlight=semi+auto
