  1. I got my first and only tattoo when I was 16. It's small, easily concealed and I don't regret it. It's a look back on my childhood for me. My mom signed off on the consent

She wouldn't have let me get a tattoo if I had picked out something dumb or trendy.

If my kid asked me to get a tattoo my decision would depend on what it was, where it was going and how big it was going to be.

  2. A pinned device is required on a 14.5 to make it a legal 16 if the device makes it over 16". My rifle just has a crush sleeve and some Rockset but its over 16" without a muzzle device.

    I know this.

From what I've read I'm not going to be losing anything from going with a 16" barrel to a 14.5". Accuracy, Velocity, etc and vice versa correct? Any gains or losses would be minimal between the two as far as performance is concerned.

ADCO seems like my best route if I decide to stick with a 14.5" barrel though. They do only charge $30 depending on the device brand.

  3. lol

    8ohms=8ohm:yuno:

you can mix and match whatever as long as the impedance isnt below minimum.

    and Onkyo is junk...yes mad:fuuuu:

Don't mix and match home theater speaker brands. Klipsch and and Polks in the same room won't mix well is all I was saying.

To OP: If you are going to piece something together you need to find out what you want before you start.

I have an Onkyo 2 channel receiver powering two Klipsch Reference series speakers and my Onkyo runs them just fine. There are some better brands out there though and I would make the receiver more of a focus than the speakers.

  4. Onkyo makes some great receivers. For music I have a pair of Klipsch floor speakers powered by an Onkyo.

There is a lot that goes into how a speaker performs. Pay attention to what you have in your room that can effect the sound.

    Don't mix and match speakers.

  5. I would say this is way more dangerous than what you see on gold rush. Diving like this is very dangerous.

One of my friends is an underwater welder and the things that have happened to him and the things he's seen happen to other divers makes me cringe.

I would think it would be more difficult to start this type of operation up compared to doing it on land. A lot more experience would be needed IMO.

  6. Anyone have any strong reasons to suggest an M1A over the FNAR?

I know with some modifications you can get the M1A scout to to under 40". The Sub MOA of the FNAR is attractive though and I've heard it comes in lighter with a fully loaded magazine and optics than the M1A.

  7. I just got into cycling and would love a road bike. I don't know much about parts and such. Is the spring an affordable/easy fix? Is it ridable as is? Does everything function? I'm extremely interested.

It needs the spring to be ridden. I don't know how much it would cost to get it. Everything else seems to function though.

  8.

    My suggestions:

    1. Fire Howson and Priest. Promote Craig Patrick to GM.

    2. Trade Nash, Brassard, Vermette, and the obvious upcoming UFA's.

    3. Mason on waivers as soon as we get another acceptable goalie here this season, if that ever happens. If someone claims him, great. If not, send his ass to the AHL.

    4. Fail for Nail. Keep failing this season, get that #1 overall pick, Nail Yakupov.

    5. While you're at it, fail next year too. Because the #1 overall next year is going to be even better, Nathan Mackinnon.

    x2

I want to see Nash gone more than anything. That would be the spark and wake up call for the team.

We could easily get a player like Crosby that makes everyone around him turn into a goal scorer. When he can play at least.

  9. Something you might end up hating are those little abrasions on the back of the grip. I hated them on my CW9, they tore some of the webbing on my hand between my index and thumb.

If that bothers you then they can be filed down, which is something I did.

Nice purchase! I carry my CW9 daily.

Survival Tactics on E. Main St. in Reynoldsburg can get you a holster made for 60.

  10. Took me less than 24 hours at the Columbus location.

I've heard if you get in there first thing in the morning you could get back in there before 3 and walk out with it.

  11. Just because you have a CCW doesn't mean you have to use it. If I was being attacked with lots of people around I would hope to get some help and not need to pull out my CCW. If I'm being attacked by 3 attackers and no one else is around my CCW will come out.

I'd rather have my CCW on me and be able to choose to use it or not.

Even if you did need to use your CCW, since most people aren't looking for a gun I would doubt most would even see it come out, be used and be put back away.

  12. A shoulder rig low enough to engage on the strong side is probably not going to save much or any draw time over a good OWB holster. With a long coat you'd still have to peel it back the same amount to draw properly.

I have a DeSantis NyPad Pancake OWB that fits your gun if you'd like to try it for a while.

Thanks for the offer and advice. I'm going to see if I can't get them to fit a holster into my jacket pocket. If it's a no go I'm going to start looking for some other options.
