    the heat is on

the cavs have been contenders every year for the last few years. this was their best chance to win, and they should have. i just don't see the heat winning next year, as they don't have shit for a supporting cast. he's going to wade's team, and if they win, its wade's title, and wade's team. taking cleveland to a championship would have given him much more than winning in miami.
  3. damn, cobra moved out. like most, i probably would have lost money betting on that race but oh well
  4. great intro. welcome to the site
  5. keep it simple. have your blower setup for street duty, with a pump gas tune. if you decide to go to the track, it shouldn't be too hard to switch the pulley, belt, and tune to 'kill mode'. messing around with blower clutches, and blow-off valves sounds like a great recipe for a blown motor. keep it simple. with modern intercooling, meth injection/etc., you can get plenty of power on a very safe tune with 93 octane.
  6. $50k buy it now for a 350hp car with 31k miles?? really?? is this something where you pay more because "joe blow" owned it, and most likely farted in it. s5's look good and all, but i'd probably pay $40k tops for that.
  7. do something that will get you arrested and mess up your next job. honestly, put yourself in the customer's shoes---you call into a company to give them business, and the person on the phone is a prick to you. wtf? with the economy the way it is, just be thankful for the fact you had a job, and have been able to secure a better one, utilizing your training.
  8. scott's a good guy, i knew him when i was at mt. carmel--he trained at osu and was a couple years ahead of me
  9. could be anything from a sprained MCL to a torn ACL/meniscus. if its no better after a week, get an MRI. dr. steensen will help you if you live on the west side 488-1816 if i recall, and dr. westerheide, or dr. martin if you're on the east side 759-1186. these are sports orthopedists who take care of athletes with knee/shoulder injuries. all 3 work with cardinal orthopedics, and will be able to handle any knee injury.
  10. just find something that works for you, and stick with it. i'm a ways away from being debt free----big mortgage, two big car payments, large education debt, large monthly disability/life/auto/home insurance policies, and tons of other things. we have 3-4 credit cards, but they get paid off monthly, and get tons of perks from them. whatever you do, you want to start saving/investing at an early age. 401k, roth IRA's, and 529 plans for kids---we've got them all maxxed out.
  11. that shirt would be perfect----at a tractor pull, or on the jerry springer show
  12. not a huge fan of mustangs, but welcome anyways. good intro
  13. never really though the nsx looked good anyways.
  14. i'd look into the sandals grande at st. lucia. it was truly the best trip i've ever been on by a longshot. our honeymoon was at turtle beach resort in barbados, which i also enjoyed more than jamaica. still had a blast in jamaica.
  15. you are indeed unqualified to give advice and i am god's gift to everyone's health. how long did that take??
  16. as easy as it is to fault the car owner for buying something like this and sticking it on their car---i think the creator of this product is almost as dumb. honestly, how many people would buy something like that. if your idea as a businessman is to sell as many units of "X" as possible to make money, this is not a smart idea
  17. we went to ocho rios resort---a sandals all-inclusive. it was great. i liked st. lucia a little more, but of course, it was more expensive. if you can afford it, the sandals at st. lucia was incredible. i think it was around $5,500 for a whole week, with absolutely everything included---food/airfare/activities/liquor
  18. nsx looked like it would have gotten walked by a stock c6 vette. great thread here.
  19. thread title made me think of this for some reason, funny as shit
  20. i don't care to see pics of anything, or hear anything more. welcome to the oven, enjoy your permanent stay.
  21. i read your post. the problem is that you DON'T know how to diagnose a type II vs a type III, or a type V for that matter (i can virtually hear you 'googling' what a type V is right now). xray is used to determine whether its a type II vs. a type III--not an MRI. you just stick to giving back massages and 'life coaching' and let the people with actual medical training take care of patients with acute injuries. i know how to spell chiropractor. i will often spell it as chiropracter, just as i spell the country to the north of us "candida".
  22. i'll pay a bit more for a good battery. my motorcraft battery for my cobra was still going strong when i replaced it a few months ago after 6 years---i threw it in my '87 right before i sold it as that battery was worn out. it probably cost about $110.
  23. i won't bore you with the details, but a chiropracter is not going to be able to accurately convey to a patient the risk benefit/ratio, and/or possible outcomes of treating a type III separated shoulder, or a partial thickness rotator cuff tear with or without surgery--both conditions can be treated either way depending on the patient and other factors. sure, a type I or II shoulder separation, or a mild sprain can be treated by a chiropracter no problem. going without health insurance is crazy if you ask me---one major injury--which is not unheard of, especially in someone who participates in activities mentioned by the o.p., can absolutely sink you financially. the premiums are worth it no matter what anyone says.
  24. quoted for absolute hilarity.
  25. likely a separated shoulder. this is what i do for a living every day. rotator cuffs are very rare in people in their 20's. could be a labral tear--those require surgery.
