  1. love my vette, even though the cobra is faster right now. will probably end up doing the above listed mods this winter, or the following spring.
  2. +1 Keep the car stock and drive it. You're in no position to modify a car at this point in your life. Concentrate on school, save up your money, and mod cars later when you're at a better financial position to do so. This is your daily driver, right? No reason at all for hood pins, and the hood is rice. Learn from older, wiser people on this site who were once in your position and made the same mistake you're in the process of doing
  3. Welcome. Clean car, good intro
  4. Without abs and no traction control, they are VERY frequently totaled. Someone once said "anyone who has driven a viper hard has spun it out at highway speeds, or is lying about the fact that they've driven it hard" It's also a 15 year old car no matter what the mileage is My vote is no
  5. welcome, good save with the pics/info added.
  6. this is a great intro. love the wheels on that car, and the drop is perfect. also, great camera skills welcome to the site.
  7. lookin good. good torque for a ported blower.
  8. check svtperformance.com (i'm too lazy right now). there have been plenty of these setups for sale on that site EDIT--i decided to be nice and do the research for you---plenty of swaps for sale on that site between $1500- and $2000. also, plenty of people looking for these swaps. you'd have no problem unloading the swap kit on that site http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-256/704123-fs-eaton-swap-kit-2300-shipped.html http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/terminator-parts-buy-sell-242/713544-eaton-swap-parts-mostly-complete.html http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/terminator-parts-buy-sell-242/694939-selling-full-eaton-swap-posi-race-port-inside.html
  9. good intro, everyone has to start with some level of speed. welcome to the site. your best bet, if you decide you want to have a fast car, is to start with a better/faster platform---as opposed to 'custom' tt kits, but that's my advice, take it with a grain of salt. welcome to the site, good introduction

    New Guy

pics of daytona and a mod list should do. also, are you going to be buying a car soon, or what?? sounds pointless to be on here with no plans of having a car in the future, but that's just me

    WWE

this in grad school, we used to watch monday night raw at panini's on 10th, and drink beer throughout the show. it was actually fun to get together, shoot the shit, watch fake wrestling, and have a few beers. that was 10 years ago though
  12. love to own one of those with a big v8. when i lived in tampa, i drove past this place linked below almost every day. at any time, i'd say they had at least 20 of those cars for sale/being worked on in the shop http://www.zdocs.com/
  13. not feeling either car, but i can appreciate the time/work that went into them. great introduction otherwise. welcome to the site
  14. finally get into medical school to be a real dr.??? i kid, i kid. congrats
  15. buy a nice honda civic for a daily driver---unless you work at a job where it doesn't really matter whether you show up or not. an old car is an old car (unreliable). an old, modded car is generally twice as unreliable. nothing is more miserable then having a broke daily driver sucking your wallet dry as you panic to fix it--been there, done that. any car with more than very minor bolt-ons does not make a good daily driver, with very few exceptions.
  16. don't know if i'll ever buy another mustang, but this would be one i'd probably be interested in.
  17. because there are so many bullshit variations of the 911.
  18. 100 cars?? srsly?? welcome to the site.
  19. is there some way to remove much of the material from that block to make it lighter?? that's the only way i can see this being a good idea
  20. orly?? car looks 1000 times better now. good work
  21. love the wheels on the wagon. welcome to the site
  22. damn bro, watch out for low overpasses with that wing. clean car otherwise, welcome to the site
