  1. i saw 1-2 buslengths--bimmer moved out. evo got eaten by the v8 i guess. and before you ask "what it is that i drive?", cars are in my sig.
  2. my wife was barely that big when she was about to give birth to twins. based on that picture she's sloppy, period.
  3. great intro. car looks like it moves out. welcome to the site.
  4. sucks. glad everyone was o.k. chick looks fat from the pic posted
  5. welcome to the site. plenty of people here work on their own cars. plenty pay others to do the work. car looks incredible by the way.

    Z faggot

dear moderators, please kill me. love, this failed abortion of a thread
  7. save your money and buy a computer. welcome to the site, enjoy the hazing ritual.
  8. we always used to go to superior. people are such alcoholics here in wisconsin, you can buy kegs at the grocery stores---seriously. theres also at least 3 beer distributors that i know of in this town of 30k people. wtf?
  9. best of both worlds here. i live in a neighborhood with 10 houses--about 2-3 miles from the city. no HOA here, everyone has about 2 acres of property, snowmobiles, 4wheelers, fire pits, boats, trailers---i'm seriously behind in the toy department compared to my neighbors. at least 5 houses have detached extra garages---mine is the biggest though.
  10. i went with the entry level bendpak 4 post lift for service/storage. 9k lbs capacity. i was back and forth between the cheaper one and the bendpak, but at the end of the day you can't put a price on safety/quality of something when you're going to park a nice car under it, and work under it as well.
  11. thanks, i appreciate it. my biggest issue is that i live in wisconsin, and there are limited installers/etc. here. i've been tossing around the idea of buying one for a while, finally just decided to pull the trigger.
  12. No jack for the center. That's an extra $1200 for a 4500lb rolling jack---i just won't need it right now. I've got a 7k lb metal decked car hauler to pick it up. Probably going to have someone install it
  13. Ordered the bendpak. Came in less than $3100 with the lift, casters, drip trays, ramp locks, and an adjustable height 8 gallon oil drain. No tax, free shipping, but I have to pick it up at a conway terminal since I don't have a forklift. I guess it just comes down to piece of mind.
  14. well, probably going to buy the bendpak.
  15. the more you do to a car, the less fun it becomes---the more it becomes a liability, and not fun to drive, since you're constantly worried about it: breaking down getting stolen getting dinged getting keyed buy a performance car, and add minimal upgrades. my '05 GTO has about 375rwhp, has great manners, can be driven across the country tomorrow with the A/C blasting, and get 23-25mpg all day long on the highway. i have a catback/intake/shifter/dynotune. the wife can easily drive it. stock clutch is easy to apply. it doesn't draw attention from cops, vandals, etc. if the car gets a swirl mark, i don't care too much. its just plain fun to drive anywhere, with not a care in the world. i would recommend anyone in your position to try a car like i listed above--there are plenty of other examples of factory cars that are fun with minimal mods. the temptation is always there to do more, but you must resist it or you'll end up with another ball-and-chain for a car
  16. Buying a lift today for storage and oil changes, etc. Do I really need the $2800 bendpak? http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/BendPak-HD-9ST-B-9000-lb-car-storage-lift-p/bendpakhd-9st-b.htm With low profile ramps, drip trays, casters it will be closer to $4k. Its 9k lbs capacity, the max I'd have on it are my sports cars, maybe an suv for an oil change. Or I can get the $1800 autolift brand. http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/Auto-Lift-CAR-PARK-8-8000-lb-Storage-Service-Li-p/car-park-8.htm Its 8k lbs capacity. Both have the same width, height, runway length. The drip trays and casters are cheaper--i'd probably spend $2500 total. Lift is going in my shop--plenty of room, and ceiling height. I'm not hard-up for cash, but do you guys think its worth it
  17. clean car. welcome to the site.
  18. fine. just preface your post by saying----i'm just looking for a running car to use while i fix my other car, and you won't get rude remarks from some people on here. ANY car that runs and won't get you pulled over by a cop while obeying traffic laws is probably worth around $500 to those in need of a beater
  19. i can't see the pics at work, but i can imagine the cars. great intro, welcome to the site.
  20. details or not, when you're high profile you have to learn to avoid situations like this---walk away, don't get involved. expecting an average 20 year old to do this is not an easy thing to do.
  21. i would expect ANY car that is listed for $600 to be not worth looking at---unless you wanted simple transportation that may crap out on you at any second. without any information/link to the for sale thread, this is the information you get. if the car is being sold as a roller, or maybe in need of a transmission, then $600 might get you something reasonable. maybe you'll find a diamond in the rough. in general, a $600 car might sell for $400. i'd be amazed if the car proves to be anything but an absolute p.o.s. good luck
  22. tim, theres a meet going on right now at the bottom of the olentangy river. hope to see your car there. great introduction by the way.
  23. jake, your introduction is perhaps the worst we've seen in a while. you need to post pictures of your bike and tell us more about yourself asap. it also says your name is 'josh', and you own a monte carlo SS. chillicothe is indeed south of columbus, so that is correct.
  24. i used to live right up the street from estrada. i lived in a duplex on the corner of dennison and king---close enough to high that we had tons of riff-raff from east high street. lived there in 2001-2002, damn its been a long time.
  25. sounds like a great time. i'd rather hang out in a public bathroom and listen to people shit than sit through something like that
