  1. Is there anywhere aside from U-Haul that rents one way trailers? We are moving down to SC and I do not want to drive anything back. A one-way itty bitty 5x8 single axle is like 296 bucks (would be a mere 30 dollars around town lol). I think we can make our limited amount of stuff fit ok in the little 5x8 the more desirable 2 axle 6x12 is something like 520 dollars. I had heard Penske or Budget might, but that may have been a while ago as their websites are all trucks. Figured there might be some experience with one way moves on here thanks
  2. Looks good minus the smoker package
  3. i think every new-ish (17) driver should be in a RWD 5 speed car... really helps you learn
  4. I assume you can install them wet? I've had luck with using quick detailer spray... Just give the surface and the decal a good soaking spray and apply... float it around to the right spot and squeegee out the excess... park it all in the sun and let it dry. if there are any bubbles they should evaporate away. probably the most important thing is to apply them to a cool clean surface.... do it in the morning if your garage (or favorite shady spot) gets hot during the day. edit: wow 2 posts beat me lol
  5. He reached out and probably just slipped. Granted he probably reached too far. Flip flops are not the most solid shoe to balance on either
  6. We recently restained my parents deck and gazebo. We just scrubbed quickly with some deck wash, let it dry, then stained away. The hard part is just the tedious staining of the spindles and lattice work... Gotta make sure to catch those runs.
  7. probably the same (or nearly the same) as what is in the for sale thread:
  8. Nice to see someone being able to properly defend themselves. Probably good for the victim that mr. crackhead didn't die. I think that would suck to actually kill someone at a gas station...
  9. Spent it finding a place to live in Columbia, SC where my wife is starting grad school. Thursday - Wife and I drove towards Columbia, SC 7pm-2am after picking up a rental Altima at the airport. Friday - Woke up and got to Columbia to meet a guy with apartments for rent at around 1pm. His sucked so we essentially drove around looking for places until dinner. After that we went to some Oyster bar for some food and drinks. Met some people who were going to a yacht club the next night for fireworks and invited us (everyone is 20x nicer down there). Saturday - Drove around most of the day continuing the search. Decided to go out to the lake where the yacht club was and while trying to find a decent restaurant to no avail, we settled for the usual lakeside bar to eat at. We then realized we were on the opposite side of the lake to where the club was and decided to hang around and watch the fireworks over by some park. Lake is like buckeye lake, just much larger (Lake Murray) Sunday - Visited the house we decided to rent on Saturday for some pictures, drove the 500 miles home, returned rental late, and got hit with a bunch of fees for doing so. Monday - Family cookout. Pretty lame, but we like a good roadtrip

  14. Mine is next weekend, and I'm just getting them some bottles of Jack with a bow around the neck lol. Seemed to be the most popular idea amongst them.
