T5 Shifts fine, I have driven this car numerous times, and it shifts great, runs decent. Hell I would keep it, but I really do own too many cars already.

No I was jumping in and stating that the guys who say, no 4 years ago when we raced my car didn't have anything done, and that rabbit ran across the road, and I smoked you like 35 times. As you can see from my current DD I still believe that the e36 M3 is one of the best bargains on the road. I bought it when it was a 5 figure car, now it's dwindled down to a 4 figure car. I don't have any intention of selling soon.

 

As Justin mentioned, the e30 M3 is a great package...you just have to pay for it. Good condition ones are worth double what an e36 M3 brings these days. I somewhat kick myself for that one too, cause when I bought my car the e30 M3s and e36 M3s were going for about the same money....ooops.

 

Yeah, well that is how it goes. I had a friend some years back that was selling his e30 and never did sell it, good thing because they are bringing more now.

I think I would also have to add the 914 Porsche to the list. Great fun to drive, and a very nice one can be had for under 10k, maybe even a 6cyl that needs a little work.

I love my foxbody, even though I haven't driven it much. I love my Jeeps. Now I loved my Vette, but all that money to just sit made no sense. I love my new Jeep, but at 50k (well hell there were good incentives) I would rather drive my 02 Grand, and not care if it gets a scratch. As for the M3 arguement.....4 years ago at the auction I bought a 97 M3 four door w/two tone interior, good paint, updated bumper, ran partfect i.e. strong running, good clutch and trans, and was in overall great shape. Now it had 160k on it, but needed no major work. Had a brakelight switch issue. I paid $8600 for it, drove it for 5-6k and sold it for $9k. So they are out there, and yes I know this is not what you were talkingf about when you said E30, but still a fun 4 figure car. IMO rivaled by a C4 Vette!

At this point I am thinking just the rear hatch area, and the NAASSSS!

Then figure out the winter plans with a more definite direction.

It is my neighborhood as well I have lived there 20 years. My car has never seen the rain and I like to keep it in "show" condition. SO if I got out and started yelling and calling this guy names and then tried to throw down with him I would still have my man card? That’s a good way to go to jail. I just wanted to ask the guy if he could turn it down in a neighborly way, as its the only way to get out of the neighborhood. Would it have been hard for him to be like "my bad man i didn't realize it or even just say ok and never do anything about it. But telling me hes ganna beat my face in bc I keep my car clean and want him to turn it down..yea sounds like its under control.
