  1. I have a 99 altima that is in great shape and runs like new. The milage is 200,000 + and it does not burn or leak a drop of anything. It has a noise in the front end coming from around the wheel area. It sounds like a wheel bearing . If you apply the brakes it still makes the noise. I got the front end raised up and tried to rotate the wheel to see if I could make the noise with no luck the wheel does not turn/spin fast enough to make the sound I guess. The wheel does not have any play in it when you do the side to side and top top test. The steering has no play in it and it will drive a straight line down the road like a new car. Does this sound like a wheel bearing and how can you tell for sure or not ? I have replaced wheel bearings before in older rear wheel drive cars but front wheel drive in a little new to me. Thanks in advance for your comments.
  2. If your lucky you might get 2-3 runs in. The last one I went to the light was not working correctly and many other problems. No more for me.
  3. Having a lawn/landscape business myself and plowing snow for the first 15 years it all depends on what kind of contracts you have and if you have old equipment be ready to have some headaches. It is a big responsibility. This brings back a lot of memories of when I first started my business with an old 79 chevy and working on it in the middle of the night with snow coming down. If your not afraid of hard work ,long hours, and a sore back and neck go for it. If it is a good snow season you will make good money. Just dont buy a an old junker you will regret it.
  4. My mom needs a new furnace installed. I thought I would see if anyone on this site does this type of work before I just start calling around.
  5. I was thinking about meeting at the krogers at sawmill&powell rd ? Registration starts at 9 am would 11:45 be to late ? this is the first time for me at this show. Hope it warms up fast out their.
  6. No restrictions that I know of. I have seen pics of all makes/models and years their.
  7. Yes they do have wheelchairs. Would anyone want to meet up somewhere and drive in togather as a group ?
  8. I plan on going it will be the first time. I always drive by and see tons of cars their.
  9. What time does this start ? If the weather is nice I might take a drive.
  10. I use this also.Seems to do a good job. I wonder how it compares to Leatherique.
  11. Bring it on. I hate driving 200 miles to go anywhere.
  12. That is rare. I use to know a couple of those guys. I'm still going to not run a front plate. I know I'm being stubborn and a little stupid but I hate that front plate on my Z06. Never had a front plate on my loud WS6 for over 3 years and never got pulled over. I know my luck is running thin.
  13. There were many options you could order back in the day. The 400 turbo auto was very popular .I would'nt kick it out of my garage. I like the front end but the rear bumper does not look right to me.
  14. LOL, yep I made it. The drive was not to bad.Coming back was the bitch, heavy traffic, rain, traffic jams, and jersy drivers are a little crazy.
  15. Thanks and I'm working on that.
  16. 02 Z06,G5X3 Cam,TEA Heads,Kooks stainless headers,Fikse wheels,Wilwood brakes are a few of the upgrades. 8200 miles and never seen rain untill I picked it up. I just got done doing a detail job. The guy that sold it to me had a hard time parting with it his wife is having back surgery and would not be able to get in and out easily for quite some time. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/z06.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/IMG_0016Large.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/IMG_0013Large.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/IMG_0041Large.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/IMG_0052Large.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/IMG_2346Large.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/IMG_2365Large.jpg
  17. Casey to give you an idea of the market I just sold mine for 16,000. It was an 01 WS6 with 24,000 miles, all bolts/cam. I think I got good money for mine . In this bad economy if you did not have to sell I would not try but then again you never know when a buyer might come along and want that exact car. I sold mine just for the change and still have not found a replacement. Try ebay that is where mine sold thru.
  18. Being on the run for the rest of your life would not be much fun,but tempting.
  19. It was a great race to watch. Better then stock car racing.
  20. That is real close to the same power my 01 WS6 had with a comp custom 228 cam . I had 393/352 on a mustang dyno.
  21. Where did you ever hear that ? One of my customers has over 100,000 miles on his vette with no problems and it looks great.
  22. So mike norrris is well known thats good to hear. The car looks like it is brand new. Thats where I found it. I have seen quite a few vettes on their with some nice upgrades for what I believe are a decent deal. I'm trying to find one in the 20-25k range. 22-23k seems to be a common price for an 02 bone stock so I guess an 03 with these upgrades for 25k is reasonable. He already came down 1500 and he is firm right now on that 25. I thought 432/400 was pretty good for just a cam/headers. Its funny I thought selling my WS6 was hard and it was but finding a replacement is just as tough.
  23. Kentucky should be near the top if you ask me.
  24. Sounds like the cobra will handle the power just as good as the Z06.I have been reading a lot of info on the cobra. I like them but the Z06 is more of what I'm looking for at this time and to make the decision easier the wife is telling me the vette is what she wants me to get. I'm like ok. She likes the looks of them better. Cant argue with someone who contributes to half the income. She never wanted to drive my stalled 400 rwhp WS6. She will drive the vette. AJ thanks for the offer I had to many things to do today around the house today . First saturday off in a long time.Work has been very busy so far this year. I'm one of the few that can say I have a lot of work to do in this rotten economy.
