So, the new motor is DONE!
atomicfusion1647545515 replied to atomicfusion1647545515's topic in Passing Lane
The motor that is in it ran all season last year (roughly 200 passes) and we tore it down over the winter and Livernois said it needed nothing! Well, I had them do rings and bearings anyway and have run it all season this year with 0 issues. Tomorrow morning it will come out and go on a stand to be my "backup" motor for long haul races. I've been told 200 passes is about all you should see, then they need to be refreshed, but I believe that it would have been fine to run this season as well. Tuning is the key, if the motor is tuned properly there shouldn't be any issues. -

I have never owned any Trick Flow heads... the other motor has custom built LS7 style ETP heads. They actually flow better than the LSX-Race head, but these All Pro heads are even better. -
I know Steve and Josh pretty well from the NMCA events... good guys and always willing to help. You see them in most of my NMCA videos, seems like we line up a LOT... When my car grows up it hopes to be as fast as there Firehawk.

I'm pretty sure the red and black C6's are LMR cars...

Well, we didn't really drive it that much on the streets anyway... I will still have the "street" motor as well, but really my goals required a more agressive setup. As for the engine builder, I guess they just had too many customers in front of me... -
Got the call the other day, and I wanted to make sure it was on the way before I made the announcements, but the new ERL powerplant is on its way to the shop right now and should be going in the car next week! We will be getting the car ready for tuning passes and should be out at Norwalk testing soon. The next planned race is August 5th at Milan for the points series (I am currenlty 4th in points) and after that will be September 2nd for the next Milan points race and then the NMCA LSX Race will be September 9-11 in Bowling Green KY (Currently 1st in points) The new engine is: ERL Superdeck 427 aluminum block (125lbs lighter than current block) (partially filled so no more street driving after this change ) All Pro Heads with Jesel Rockers Callies Dragonslayer Crank Callies Rods Weisco Pistons 10.2:1 Compression Allpro 4500 Cast intake Todd Berry Elbow Accufab 105mm TB Solid Roller cam (engine is setup to spin to 8800) 106mm Billet Wheel Garret Turbo This motor has gone low 7's at nearly 200mph in a 3300lb Camaro and has been improved fromt that setup for this year.

I have a 3 speed transmission... it is not designed for Roll Racing... but I tell you what.... We will make this a 2 race series and I'm down... I'll give you a 60-160 (on a real closed course like an airstrip) If you give me a Dig on a real Drag strip with real prep. We can do both races for whatever amount of money you want to race for. Same car, same bet, both races. How is that for fair.

Find a quote where I ever said my car was the fastest "street car" Find a quote where I ever said anything about racing my car on the street. Just because you don't have a pot to piss in and don't mind loosing your shit over an illegal street race, doesn't mean I am that "stupid". You are calling me a Dumb ass, that's so funny, you are the one that put all that time and effort into building a Colt. oh and one more thing... I wouldn't race you on the street even if it WAS legal... you'd probably loose control and crash your piece of shit Colt into me. Tripple 1 more time just because you are THAT slow!

OK OK OK let me get this straight.... YOUR punk ass, no car having, bitch ass wants to call ME out with someone else's car? Why don't you just call up John Force and ask me to race him. I will race anything that you own as of right now. Show me your fucking title and I will race the "jalopy" Now as for street racing Jamie's car, my car is not set up for a 60 to 160 roll and the whole world knows that. I WILL race his Lambo, Supra, or any other car anyone wants to race me with on a race track from a dig. If it is faster than me then it will win, If I am faster then I will win. Find the thread where I was calling anybody out. I NEVER said ONE word about Jamie's car(s) PERIOD I did say and am saying the same thing I said when I did what you said couldn't be done before... (search for your thread saying I would never go 160) FUCK YOU COLT BOOSTIN! You can SUCK MY TINY WORLD OF WARCRAFT PLAYING DICK! You are so interested in my dick and balls... why is that???? Do you really have that much penis envy? Step up on a stool, get in YOUR car and lets get fucking busy! My race is with you and whatever you own.... Call me out... come get some you dick loving bitch!
