I found Sal Patel's Viper went 7.52... anyone know anything about the car? Is it still IRS?

I can find a 7.99 for a viper... anyone see anything faster? I thought Jamie held some kind of IRS record.

I also should mention Koolrays helped out a ton with the initial setup of the AMS 1000. His experience made our learning curver much better than it could have been. Thanks Ray, you are a class act, no matter what those other guys say

Thank to everyone involved this weekend! The guys from IPS came out and supported in full force. I couldn't have gone as far as I did or accomplished all we did without their help. Tommy, Eric, and Jeff from IPS and Mike (friend and body guy) all supported in the pits and I appriciate every bit of it. Also Special thanks to RPM Transmissions, Drive Shaft shop, Pfadt, Livernois, Callies, Simpson, and IPSMotorsports for thier support. Without these quality vendors, my corvette would not be as fast and safe as it is today. Final results were 2nd place overall in the Outlaw Drag radial class (fastest class at the LSX Shootout) Over all we took home: 1st place -- Fastest Corvette in the world, winner of Plaque, Jacket, and of course some money 2nd place-- Drag Radial Class, winner of plaque, jacket, and a bit more money We lost 8.2 to LMR's Twin 88mm Firebird's 7.8 in the Drag radial finals. Not bad for our second event with the new setup. Next year should hold some bigger and better things. My car ran very consistantly with the passes being 8.17, 8.17, 8.24, 8.15, and an 8.25 in the finals against the LMR Firebird.

Well, I didn't make the 7's, but I did run an 8.15@173!

2nd place overall. We lost 8.2 to 7.8. I'd still call the event one hell of a success

We are now in the Outlaw Drag Radial Finals! Next run is for all the marbles!

Great pictures! That was a fun day at the track, even with the traction issues. No pics of the golf cart hanging the fronts? I fixed the seat you broke.... Twice lol Magaritas, pizza, and racing... Always a recipe for a good time.

Awesome work man... I hope to catch up to you soon. I dropped the car off yestereday to get the AMS 1000 put in, 3 step setup, corner balancing, suspension setup changes (chassis shop doing the corner balancing and suspension setup), heat exchanger is getting added in. I think you are on the right path with your tires... I am going to try a set (28" versions) and see what they do on my car. Congrats on awesome runs! I'll be coming for your soon enough.
