Yeah, I have been riding motorcycles since I was a kid... I grew up down south and you could get a motorcycle license at 14.5. So my first street vehicle was a POS Yamaha Vision 550. My first liter bike (if you can call it that) was a 85 VF1000R That I got back in 91. Sold it about 8 years ago, been riding Harleys for the last 3 years or so. Now this is my first bike that has this kind of power, so I am getting to know it before I get too silly with it.

Yeah, I'm really not concerned all that much with the number... it was 96 degrees in the shop when it was dyno'd and it had 131 miles on it. It had stock oil and the gas the dealership put in it too... I have heard that a lighter tire, synthetic oil, and just some 94 octane are good for a few HP. For now I will ride it and enjoy it. If it is too slow later, then I mod it or get something else.

It made 150rwhp and 74lbs tq... so does that suck? Is that good?

As much as I would like to build it... 2 builds at 1 time is like playing russian roulette... I still need to get the feel for the bike in stock form... I have about 100 miles on it now and am getting more and more comfortable. Cracked triple digits yesterday for the first time on it (closed track of corse) I haven't decided if I am gonig to run the bike or the Carmaro this weekend at marion yet.... we will see. Taking the bike to Dyno Brian's today at 4 to see what power it puts down stock.

So I ordered a swing arm, N20 kit, Turbo kit, Heads, cam, lighter rods, better pistons, better valves, sprokets, lighter wheels, full carbon fiber body, carbon fiber gas tank, custom carbon fiber exhaust and some other stuff, should be done next week.

I snatched up a littl TTR230, just somethig to chase my kid around with... Schmelmer came by and helped me scuff up the tire on the R1 some so I can start riding it a bit harder. So far it has been fun, but I am sill in standard mode. I'll have to click it in the other modes and see whats up here before too long. I REALLY need a conversion for that gay ass tree that hangs off the tail... where do I go to convert that gayness?

LOL I love the looks of it.. But I have 3 Harleys, 2007 Road King Classic (for when I want to ride comfotable) and since I bought the 2009 CVO Springer Softail ... http://thecarlylefamily.com/images/motorcycles/bikes.jpg Just don't need 2 bar bikes....

I will probably just ride it for a while, but later I am sure I'll drag race it. I'm not trying to set any records, just have something fun to play with on the weekends.
