Just *peeked* at the first moments of the intro. Weather effects will be awesome to have. I hope GT5 lets me run the 'Ring in the snow. Even better if it'll let me do that with one of the WRC cars.. *drool*

I still have the wheel from GT3 that has the 900 degree rotation. Though I might update for 5. Downside is that the playseat setup I have isn't all that great and doesn't have an allowance for the G25's shifter module.

I think we here, in the US, have proved that a Pop Star doesn't have to be good. And considering what passes as a Pop Star lately, a virtual one is just as good.

Very cool. The post-crash pizza one is pure win and is how racing should still be. However needing 110 shifts to circle the Nordschliffe is really only boggling for a circle-track fan. Monaco and Suzuka are each around 46-48 gear-shifts in a F1 race and those are only 2mi and 3.5mi circuits respectively. And those are only the 4th highest in number of shifts. The 'ring is relatively easy on transmissions, but diabolical on engines.

+1 for Jegs. That's where I got my SA rated helmet. Iron Pony has a lot of helmets, but most are M or DOT rated, not SA.

That's what's so mind bending. There is no border because there is nothing else. A border implies a division between two spaces. But there isn't anything outside our universe, not even "nothing." If you were to fly in one direction for a very very very long time, you'd still have forever to go because the universe is expanding away from you at any possible rate you travel. And it's accelerating!

Want to really warp your brain? The Universe isn't expanding into anything. The expansion is the universe itself (you can think of it as our reality as objective as it gets). Because of this expansion, shortly after the Big Bang the universe was expanding FASTER than the speed of light. But that was only possible because the "measuring stick" was expanding at the same time. The Big Bang and Black Holes are just awesome. You can look at them as physical manifestations of pure mathematics.

I've been playing this for a while now. Every time I think the addiction is over, they send an update with more levels. I just checked where I left off and I'm at 9-9. I should probably pick it back up before they update with even more birds and levels.

I think she's gone on a diet. She has a show on the Cooking channel now and she's really thin. Almost too thin. So she probably did an Alton Brown and realized that she was enjoying too much of her own work.
