  1. Fake.. You would have seen the tail fin, and it should have had more of an s-shaped path. Not to mention that Fish (which sharks are) love to do sharp turns not mosey along in a straight line.
  2. Pics/Plate#... Then make sure he can't get anywhere in that Evo without someone driving slow in front of him, or a note on his windshield to pay up.
  3. Hell, look at the bright side, that's a shitload of cars, homes, etc that won't be consuming oil. Less demand is lower prices and more gas for us!

  5. And what is OBVIOUSLY (according to break.com) a related video... ..a bride catches fire. http://www.break.com/index/bride-catches-fire.html

    windows vista

Have Vista. Love it. Works great. That is all.
  8. The M1 ProCar was incredible looking. I'd love to own one, or even a kit car of one if they made one. The new M1 concept is pretty cool. Once they 'tame' it for production it should look pretty good.
  9. But what about All-Out? All-Out is still selling out racing venues. Personally, I think All-out is much better than the regular Pinks show. Speed really should put together a whole two-day drag-racing package. Pinks All-Out 400 on Friday day, Pass Time that night. Pinks All-Out top 16 on Saturday Day, Pinks 1 on 1 Sat. night. Spectators can enter for a chance to be on or run their car on Pass Time, and they do a drawing to determine the two contestants, then the cars for the show. That way, those who don't make it into the ALL-Out 400 still have a chance to run their car on TV. And it'd probably save the channel some money since they don't have to lug all their quipment out to multiple venues. Oh well..
  10. Get an STI. But if that's not an option, the GTOs are nice. Though I think you should hold onto the car you've got and wait for the G8 GXP. The G8 is everything the GTO was, but better looking.
  11. Wow, a friend of mine is going to shoot himself. He got an 07 mustang but he was worried that Ford would come out with a 302 soon. And here it is. That's gotta suck.
  12. 573 on the "Heartbreaker" is very impressive. Congrats!
  13. I don't think the evo driver could hear the honks. Seemed like he was waiting for the cobra to throttle up before getting on it. When he did launch with the cobra, he pulled on it HARD.
  14. From what I understand: Low torque, so you have to keep it spinning if you want performance. Low mileage; lots of bangs per rev = more fuel. Really, multiply the displacement by 3 and that's the kind of engine you'll be feeding. They are VERY picky about the oil you give them. It must be good, and it must be clean. If you're the type to go over 3K between oil changes, you may want to look into another car. However, they have a 50/50 weight distribution and they handle very well. The secondary suicide doors are really handy. And they sound like nothing else.
  15. And according to this article, *I* percieve that most people are dumb. It's the same company, you can't rate one at the top and the other at the bottom. It's like saying "GMC trucks are SOOO much better than Chevy trucks!" Or "Buicks are such better cars than Caddys!"
  16. A customer opinion survey of Overall Brand Perception: http://editorial.autos.msn.com/article.aspx?cp-documentid=435679 Honda is second. What's last? Acura. Some of the category breakdowns look a little weird also... It's always disheartening when you find objective evidence proving you're right about how stupid the average person is.
  17. Looks great man. Missed ya at the RallyX.
  18. Not bad. Normally I don't like directional rims because the manufacturer usually doesn't bother making right and left rotations, but they got it right this time. The taillights need a smoked lens over them. I don't like how the chin spoiler comes up in the middle. IF there's an aero reason, it's ok. But I can't think of any reason why you'd want MORE air under a car. It has good proportions; if a bit soft looking. If I were to guess on the market, I'd say this was aimed squarely at the Audi R8.
  19. Well my car sees a lot of this: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2297/2430607966_556622a79b.jpg So dings, chips, and scratches don't bother me.
  20. For just three panels? crap.. It'd be cheaper to buy a compressor/gun and do it myself.
  21. I want to have part of my RallyX car painted. Specificly, the hood, roof, and trunk, as well as a couple smaller trim pieces. I was wondering if someone could give a ballpark estimate on how much I would expect to pay. Because this is my RallyX car, I'm not looking for show quality. Just not crap (if I wanted a crap job, I'd do it myself.). So an average, run of the mill job. I can even strip badges/smaller pieces (wing, scoop, trim) myself. So, anyone have an idea? Thanks.
  22. I think he means that the parents aren't going to do shit, or even give a care about your car until there's a police officer in their face.
  23. Looks like the same idea as capacitative plug wires, just built into the plug. I think the concensus was that, while it does work, the gains aren't enough to justify the additional cost. I suspect the similar will likely be true for these as well. Though do wonder if this would screw up "Coil-on-plug" and newer computerized ignition systems.
