Every time I see an H2 I think "That's a Suburban that wishes it were a HMMMV." The solid rear axle kinda kills it for me. Hummers are supposed to have independant suspensions. H3s scream "I wish I were a Jeep!"

I love that song. I didn't know there was a video for it... *watching it now* FUCKING AWESOME. Just the way I thought it would go. /thread

Tainted Donuts! Sorry it's not in english, but it's still good. EDIT: This one might be more to some of you guys' speed.

I like this one. It's cool how a real-life picture comes out looking like a video game screenshot.

2008 River Run Rally on Saturday where a friend and I chased down and hounded the back bumper of this: http://crashton.smugmug.com/photos/301230146_w5hz8-M.jpg He says he wasn't driving hard, but I heard those turbos spooling.. Then went to a Suby cookout on Sunday: http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/BBQ/COSBBQ008.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/BBQ/COSbbq015.jpg http://amykdean.com/albums/COSBBQ08/IMG_3170.sized.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc138/balrock01/rage12.jpg

Quite possible the single most epic music video ever created

Pork and Beans = Epic Destination Unknown = Hot Too different to compare. One's funny, one's sexy. Might as well throw Freaky into the mix with Rubber Johnny. -
Looks like he has one, but she's not too happy with his hobby.

Damn.. I remember turning 21... in 1996. I showed up at work... Boss: Hey man, how's it going? Me: Doing ok.. Birthday today. Boss: Congrats! How old? Me: 21 Boss: Shit, we're going to Zachary's! (local strip club) Boss to Accountant: Take a $50 out of petty cash and get change at the bank, then meet us at Zack's!

It won't happen until there's a viable alternative to petroleum fuels. Otherwise the cost of goods will go through the roof which will pretty much kill the economy outright. Even the numbnuts in the government with their pockets lined with the oil companies' cash will have to see how devastating $12 gas would be. You'd pretty much see $5-$10 being added to every product in the grocery store. We're already seeing prices go up because of just a $1 raise in prices, imagine if the price triples! Even Bush, from his Fischer Price Romper filled with Oil money, would be able to see how devastating this would be for us.

I rarely see my signal drop out. It takes the heaviest storms to block the signal. When I had DirecTV before, I lost the signal maybe two or three times a year. But TWC is so advanced, you can enjoy "Rain Fade" even when it's not raining out! Losing signal or getting a choppy picture or sound is a common occurance with TWC where I am and their techs can't do anything about it.

Do they even HAVE HD? I've read their information and not ONCE did I see them say they had HD programming. I forget the term they used, but it wasn't HD, so I figured it was a "Sorta HD" resolution. DOesn't matter anyways.. TWC is just a half-assed fail-ridden sorry exscuse for a company. I can't believe the junk their DVRs are or the horrible service they sell and continue to make money. I switched to DirecTV Monday an have been loving it. Almost all my favorite channels are now in HD, whereas TWC seems to think that if they offer a few boring HD channels they can offer the rest in only SD and people who spend money on HD systems will be happy. Bunch of idiots. I had DirecTV before I moved out here and I'm SO happy to be back with them. The cable companies suck. Period. They haven't kept up with the times and offer inferior service for more money. And their hidebound thinking and service has squandered their last advantage over Satellite; On Demand. DirecTV is beta testing their own On Demand service via broadband, and it's due to go live soon. When I tried watching an On Demand movie via TWC, it was unwatchable. Congrats Cable Companies! You've just lost the singular thing that you could offer above and beyond Satellite, who are now going to do it BETTER than you.

Advanced Auto Parts has insane mobil one sale right now!
Draco-REX replied to NOPR's topic in Passing Lane
Man, that would be nice... But Subaru engines + Mobil1 = OM NOM NOM NOM!! -
I love engine swap threads. There's a great one on Evom of a SR20DET swapped into a 510. Came out sweet. http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=231056

Filtered tap water should be ok out here. Just don't try that on Cape Cod. No simple filter will remove jet fuel from water.. A friend of mine on the Cape has a massive filtration system for his well water, but has converted all hsi drinking water to bottled. Out here, I think the Brita pitcher should be fine. Got one in my fridge.

The money isn't really an issue here. Girl #2 is into cars whereas #1 doesn't seem to be. I have more in common with Girl #2, so she's the better choice.

CGI. Seen similar tons of times before.. ATI demo vid, Guinness commercial, etc.

22:38, a 3-way race with the Suby starting in the DIRT.

I want to get one of the new Diesel Hybrids, fill it with Bio Fuel then go around keying all the Priuses out there for being so bad for the environment.

I have a heat pump where I live. It works reasonably well. Looks and acts just like an A/C unit, but will provide heat. However, it is possible your A/C just runs when your ventilation is running. It's just drying out the air when the heat runs. You just don't want the condensor to freeze. Otherwise you're fine. Some peopel recommend running the A/C in the winter now and then to make sure the compressor doesn't sieze, much like a car's.

I used to think that GNs were cool... Then I saw the ad for them:

I've had an early Xbox for a long time now. Always kept it on its side, never a RROD.

The front wheel gap is because the suspension is lifted, probably to get on and off the crate. The Lambos have a rising front suspension so you can drive them over speedbumps. BTW, LOVE that car! Sick looking! Too bad the lower air ducts are asymmetric... My only complaint.

The opposite is true too. I don't mind working hard to play hard, but if the play doesn't happen because of work, then the whole system doesn't work. All work and no play, and all that... That's fine. It's the lifers that waste their life away working every waking moment because they feel they have to that I think are crazy. They waste their life working harder and doing more and ignoring life outside their job for what is ultimately a pat on the back and a gold watch. (And companies don't even do the gold watch thing any more.) It's good that you have a plan. I wish I could work to a long-term goal like that. But there are too many people that work just because they think they should and never get out and live because they're too busy trying to "be productive" and keep ahead of Mr. Jones in the next cubicle. When it comes time to enjoy all you've worked for, don't forget that you CAN stop working.

This kinda pisses me off when businesses do this. I mean, how would the business react if a customer wanted 20% of their products/services for free? If I work 60 hours, I get paid for 60 hours. If they only pay me for 40 hours of work, I only do 40 hours of work. It's unreasonable to expect someone to work for free.

Always CL as well. As Not Brian said, go with a later 03 if you can. The transmission still isn't as bombproof as the STI's, but it's stronger than the early WRX transmissions. Lots of 02s asking WAY too much. I got my 03 with a MINT interior for 11,500, and there are a few 02s on CL asking for 12k and up! Here are some 03s: Paint is a little eh.. but good price. A nice looking wagon. Modified, no underhood shots.. I'd see it in person first.. But the mods could probably let you talk them down quite a bit. Rare yellow one. Aftermarket wheels too. Looks good.
