Wow, if that is anything like their off-road bikes, it'll be bombproof. It seems like 90% of the Dakar rally bikes are KTMs.

Ahh, the sound of a Straight-cut, Dog-engagement, sequential gearbox. I doubt it's as ear-splitting in the cabin. The camera's mic is probably making it worse than it is. Plus the driver's probably wearing earplugs also. But damn.

Dave and Busters has the F355 sims.. though there's only 2. And they have the Daytona game for mass multiplayer... but NASCAR sucks. GameWorks has the F1 game for multiplay.. But their Initial D motion game is only Auto and you can't use your save cars. It's a toss-up man.. Personally, I like D&B's atmosphere better.

From what I'm told, Rally tires suck in the winter. They use a summer compound, so when the temp goes below 45 they go solid. So I'm still going to have to run snows in the winter. :/

Oh they'll definately get used. Though whe nI'm done with the WRX, I'm sure it'll make some people go . It's going to have quite a few stickers on it. Some for fun, but some will be for racing contingencies. One set might get me new rims, another might get me money towards new tires.

And they're ON!! Mounted. The guy at the tire shop must be cursing my name. He had to fight with each tire, and balancing was a bitch. It's almost like having a siren. They feel like snows when pushed hard on tarmac, and they leave nice black marks behind if you lean into them at all. I'm waiting for my stock rims to come back from Wheel Medic, so these are jsut holding the car up at the moment.

I got RickRolled on Sirius today! They were playing the top 20 countdown and the DJ started playign that song as #1. I remember Rickrolling from about a year ago, and I thought it had died out.. Who knew?

They are made by a guy who goe by GraphicSTI on IWSTI.com. PM him there. They're about the same price as the Perrins, but they look better and don't say PERRIN on the side. Well it's the stock hoop, no bigger. Stock on the 06 and 07 STI. It directs a clearner flow of air over the rear wing, improving its effectiveness. I plan to take this car on Mid Ohio, so the aero will be used. Yeah, but I decided I wanted legal tint. So that's 50% on the front sides, and 38% on the rest. I'm past the age where I'm willing to deal with cops over little stuff.

There isn't always one, so I wouldn't plan on it. Of course, there are some people who will actually rent a car and RallyX.

Note to DarkFormula: I'd really like to multiquote.. I love my wing. It's functional too. I did add the supports in the middle. Without them, the center tends to bounce and looks kinda cheap. I like the way it looks with the two in there. The other option is to get a Syms replica wing.. But then I'd have a bigger wing than SpaceGhost, and I'd probably be Banned. Naw. The Time Attack style can look good; especially with the STI logos and a RA-R stripe around the grill. But it's not for me.. I want all black. Last October I ordered a set of custom Gloss Black (not time attack) Volk TE37 rims in 18x9+40. I was told January, then February, then March, and now due date is June. Me too. Though black is my favorite color, I didn't always like the black on black look. But I really like how it looks on this car. And hell, it's my car, I'll do what I want with it. Interesting. I'm not sure what might be different. I am going to shave a few more logos, and the tires have no dressing on them. That should help a bit.. And the TE37s will look great because they'll have a simpler appearance than the stock BBS.

Bought it, actually. I was selling my old corolla which should be making a comeback later this year. The WRX is "Jr", my dirty car. The WRX is set up for RallyX and Winter DD duties, whereas the STI will be set up for Road Racing and Summer DD duties. Specialized equipment FTW.

It's a Subaru, mudflaps are mandatory! Besides, those things have stopped so much mud from splattering my car when it's clear, they've paid for themselves in prevented headaches. And besides, I think they look cool. It is a distant cousin of a rally car. I prefer it to the regular one that's on the Limiteds because it follows the 'fangs' of the stock bumper. The big reason why I picked it up though was to save my bumper from curbs and impacts. It's a cheap knock-off so I don't car if it takes a hit. Better that than my bumper.

I'm on summers now. So the suspension modding will begin SOON! Again, you're welcome to come along for before/after rides.

All the appearance work I did that seemed too subtle to matter, pays off in one stroke with the black rims. It's amazing how much just changing the color of the rims effects a car's appearance. These rims are actually going to become my winter rims, but the summer rims I ordered in October are still not here and got delayed until June! So these will be my summers for now. The car's not completely done, appearance-wise, but it's close. Just some minor tweaks left. Pardon the dirt, but it's been too cold to hand-wash. Going to have to call on AudiOn19s soon to get rid of the winter crap on the paint.
