  1. (grumble grumble) Fine.. I'll pull it off but you guys have to split the no plate ticket.
  2. They'll fit. But would definitely be overkill on anything but a track car. The BRZ is a quarter ton lighter than the STI.
  3. Yes. Though I think the big gold lumps might be a bit out of place. If I do a swap I think I'll go with the Subaru 4pot/2pot set: http://www.fredbeansparts.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/f/i/file_2_2.jpg The fronts will bolt right up. But there's some question about the rear rotors. I have a sneaking suspicion that the rear rotors are Impreza Group-N rotors.
  4. It's already been lowered 20mm. Subaru loves big fender arches.
  5. The Advance Auto Parts in the Sawmill plaza. I've thought about that, maybe a light tint. I'm going to wire that up into a rain light since it doesn't do anything now. I may tint it then while I have it off the car. Pretty close: Boxer, Rear wheel drive, Zenith. Cheesy, I know. WRX was World Rally eXperimental. Oh good. I was worried you would like this. Can't have too many BRZs running around.
  6. I vote Doc's Viewt as the official car of CR!
  7. The lip's styling is a bit more aggressive than the rest of the car. I'd probably go with something less pointy, but there just isn't much out there for the BRZ bumper. There may be some matching side skirts and rear spats in the near future. I may give them a try on the car next year.
  8. Why not? Figured the old one was pretty dead. No car is ever really done, hence the quotes. When the warranty is up I'll see about forced induction. I was originally thinking supercharging, but I don't think the supercharging solutions are going to be developed all that much. It's a tow-hook mount, so position is kind of set. But it's still better than drilling the bumper.
  9. Yeah. It's my daily, so I figure I should keep a plate on it.
  10. He didn't cage the spur, did he? Or does the Viewt have it's own class? :lolguy: EDIT: LOL, I mentioned the Viewt before Wagner posted the update.
  11. well, as done as any of our cars ever are.. Replaced the stock spoiler-thing with a duckbill to neaten up the rear, and debadged the SUBARU and relocated the BRZ. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8317/8037106565_08ca045620_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8318/8037107026_3c881ce900_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8032/8037106054_3af77d76e6_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8173/8037104988_a33c8658f0_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8320/8037103910_088dfc1746_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8311/8037100167_b07d80c1dd_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8178/8037099217_b5593fee73_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8454/8037096183_0f52667746_b.jpg
  12. Take it down to Texas and sell it to Gas Monkey Garage.

  14. Very cool.. I'll try to remember to get his first book read before.
  15. http://www.f1technical.net/news/17810?sid=1c76648e1fad2189b8e07c3e4715508f Formula 1 is coming back to the US. This November the second most watched sport in the world is going to be in Austin TX. FIA's Formula 1 Racing Director Charlie Whiting has signed off on the facility. This is huge. Without his OK, the race doesn't happen. He seemed really impressed too, which is good. Looking at the 3D renderings of the track, I think this could become one of the top tracks in F1. I can't wait to see it driven!
  16. "BRB, going out for a smoke."
  17. Didn't look too hard at the web site linked above. Have they finally come up with a keyboard that doesn't require a magnifying glass and small tools to operate?
  18. Local pizza joint needs one of these. I want my pizza faster.
  19. French Press for flavor, K-Cup for convenience.
  20. Lifting front wheels mid-track? Because BOOOOST!
