  1. No, wasn't me. Not even sure what DSCC is...
  2. Would be nice, but these wheels apparently are either caps or hubcentric rings, not both. I'd rather have the strength of being hubcentric, so I have a set of rings on the way.
  3. Thanks. They're my new summer wheels so it'll be on them when you see the car next. I'm very rarely on 315 though, might not have been me. I have seen a pic of another Black BRZ with Ohio plates..
  4. These are WedsSport TC105n in a 17x8+42 square fitment. They're wrapped in 235/40-17 Yokohama Advan AD08 tires. My camera has a tough time around twilight (both the time of day and the movies, but don't we all?) so these pics aren't all that great. I'll try to get more tomorrow before the sun goes down again. These are Titanium Silver. I like the color a lot more than I thought I would. It's not as bright as a regular silver rim, so they look good on a black car. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8027/7701359642_ef3edd6673_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8422/7701366680_40476d9ce2_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8007/7701403096_79d3e9307c_c.jpg Some fitment pics, Rear: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8427/7701363488_74d89168d2_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8429/7701361562_4960d6804e_c.jpg Front: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8433/7701365072_5fab550c6f_c.jpg The tires are HUGE. Here are some comparison pics: This is the new tire on an 8" wheel compared to the old one on the stock rims. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8142/7701322002_c22544ebfd_c.jpg Looks bigger, but you would expect that. One's an OEM touring tire, the other is an aftermarket Extreme Performance tire made for AutoX. But look at this comparison: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8164/7701322984_8e5134c41b_c.jpg Again, new tire on 8" wheel on the right. The left tire is also on an 8" wheel, but it's a 245/40-18 Continental ExtremeContact DW (which Tire Rack doesn't seem to carry any more. ) I knew something was up when I noticed my new tires had more pinch than the 245s I had for my Legacy. And yes, I know the car needs more low. I'm just waiting for the parts I want to be released...
  5. More OMG than LOL but.. http://d24w6bsrhbeh9d.cloudfront.net/photo/4915263_460s.jpg
  6. If you're in North America, you have DirecTV service. It's satellite based. The big question is whether you have a siteline from where you can mount your dish to the satellite in the south. That's going to be specific to your house and they won't know until someone comes out. Or you can probably find sighting instructions on the internet. It'll only take a compass and some way to find an angle of inclination.
  7. I swear this guy is straight out of a manga.. It's a good thing there aren't any Audis in those pics or Jones might look in this thread and be traumatized by the slow cars between all the Porsches. :lolguy:
  8. That's what recorded shows, internet, dvd/blu-ray, and game consoles are for.
  9. Nice to see a full turn out of our elected officials..
  10. DirecTV. Dish is a wannabe provider and will always be. At least with DirecTV if you have an HD channel you know it'll STAY an HD channel. If there are any complaints I have, they are few. Rain fade effects both services, but it's better than dealing with cable's BS. I get a call from DirecTV every three months or so asking me to upgrade my service, I might chew the next caller out but I usually just say I'm happy with what I've got. Oh, and DirecTV played contract-chicken with Comedy Central for two weeks last month and I missed a couple episodes of Futurama. But these are small small annoyances compared to what I went through with TWC. Having more HD channels, a clear picture, and a company that won't brick my DVR before a big event is really nice.
  11. More power would not have improved it.
  12. For the record, I was NOT the one that brought the BRZ into this discussion. Just don't fall asleep driving it. I've owned a somewhat powerful luxury car with an auto transmission ('93 Mark VIII), hated it. I preferred the 70hp corolla I had after it. Just recently I got a comfortable sedan with a turbocharged engine ('07 Legacy spec.B). I didn't like it all that much after a year of ownership either. My mistake, I should have looked at more than one site as reference. It listed the Gross weight (5000+lbs) as Curb weight. Still at 4200+lbs it's over TWO TONS. Just think how much faster it would be if you shaved 3/4 of a ton from it.
  13. However, she apparently no longer has any positive location for her bones, so doing her is "Some assembly required." Babe, what is your pelvis doing over there? Someoen needs to tell these women that they can't rate their own asses. And besides, they're being too critical.
  14. "..added a "Shitload" of horsepower." At 5000lbs it needs a Shitload.
  15. That's in the plan. 20mm drop all around. Still debating whether to drop the front an additional 9mm with lowering camber plates, or stick with Whiteline Com-C non-adjustable rubber tophats for comfort. But I'm waiting for RaceComp Engineering to release their springs. They're a few weeks late. Tires should be here tomorrow or Friday. If all goes well, they'll be on the car Friday night, Saturday at the latest. I like the color. I was worried they'd be gold since the color was described as "Titanium Bronze". But I think it's supposed to be Titanium Silver. It's not as light as regular silver, which is what I didn't want. So I don't think I'll want to powder coat these. A gunmetal might be preferable, but I think this color is pretty good. One odd thing is that I received 13(!) center caps and NONE of them fit. Seems to be a running theme with Japanese rims I order. My Volk center caps didn't fit either. Oh, the full combo will be WedsSport TC105n 17x8+42 wheels with 235/40-17 Yokohama Advan AD08 tires.

  17. brap brap brap brap brap brap BRAP done.
  18. Hate to say it, but it's a CG car. That's a re-skinned version of the Rocket Bunny car. http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/s720x720/487387_303934989704580_347275258_n.jpg
  19. Note "FR-S" in my post. Mustang w/ track pack = $24,990 FR-S = $24,930 :lolguy:
  20. Going back home to visit family and getting a home-cooked breakfast in the morning.
