  1. No, but unfortunately I have to use catia V4 from time to time, which is not windows based, and also CADAM (also called CCD). Nate - I still don't understand why they teach us Catia freshman year, then ME doesn't touch it after that. I was ME '06, btw.
  2. That's how I learned Pro/E. My class in college was basically just "ok, go through coach and let me know if you have questions." That was the lab at least, obviously I didn't attend the lectures Also, I'm surprised that your FSAE team uses pro/e (although now that I think about it, our team at purdue used it also). Honda (and my company, which is a supplier) uses 100% catia, and from what I understand, so do most other automotive companies.
  3. I did my whole senior design project with Pro/E, and I actually like it a lot. All I use now is Catia though.
  4. You could look around the henderson/bethel road area (northern upper arlington). I live in Governour's Square Apartments and pay 674/mo for a freshly remodled 2br. Good safe area, and really pretty central location to Dublin/Polaris/Easton/Downtown. Drive to downtown only takes about 5-7 minutes. Not to mention just about every store you could ask for on bethel, henderson and sawmill. Edit - I see you're coming from Oxford... I grew up in Hamilton
  5. Maybe that's why no one can get a job there :grin2:

I have had an ING savings account for a few years now, and love it. As far as checking and whatnot... I still want to see someone face to face, so I have a 5/3 checking. But you can't beat 3.5%-4.5% interest on a savings account.
  7. I work for a supplier to Honda, wind up at their R&D (HRA) a few times a week...
  8. If you're into jeans, look into getting some nice raw/dry denim... Nudie or A.P.C. are good brands to start. I just got my first pair of Nudies (slim jim dry japan)... I haven't worn any of my other jeans since buying them, they are amazing.
  9. Is it just me, or does that sort of look like a lotus?
  10. The only car I've sold that I really miss is my old 1G talon. DSM's are a dime a dozen, but it is still one of the nicest I have seen. It hurts even more when the current owner sends me pictures of it http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f122/jjschafe/resize2.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f122/jjschafe/resize9.jpg
  11. Had mine done last July. The most amazing thing ever. Timeline of my eyes: 2nd grade - got glasses 4th grade - got contacts Last summer (23 years old) - had a -5.25 contact prescrption (that's pretty bad). The top letter on an eye chart was a giant blur 15 minutes after surgery - could read about 4 lines down on eye chart (lots of gunk in my eyes still) Day after surgery - back at work, could read bottom line on eye chart The whole experience was really fine. The only kind of creepy thing is that you can smell your eye burning when the laser starts going. A little off-putting. Oh, and if anyone is considering this, I would highly reccomend going to Revision at Polaris.
  12. I switched to att about 9 months ago, had been a sprint customer for probably 7ish years. I've been very pleased with the service and coverage. 3G data is pretty sweet, and if you are clever like me, you manage to get an unlimited data plan on a blackjack for $20/mo instead of the $40/mo that they try to charge... All in all, I think att has by far the best phones (BJII, many different blackberry's, and of course the gayphone... err... iphone ). Their coverage is excellent, and their plans are reasonable.
  13. Clearly the goal, but still needs to be disguised I would love to go to the fish market, but she isn't a big seafood fan. I may choose a different cameron Mitchel place though. Any thoughts for or against any of them?
  14. stoney river does look good, although slightly more than I was hoping to pay. What's funny is that she doesn't like steak or nice seafood... so any place like that is basically a treat for myself, and she'll get the chicken...
  15. Can't find it anywhere on the internet... any help here?
  16. Olevia is a budget brand, but a good one. Same range as westinghouse and vizio. Sure, it will be outperformed by your top tier tv's, but you can't beat them for the price.
  17. She lives in Cincy, so I won't actually be taking her out on the 14th. She'll be up here the 15th and 16th, so the crowd should not be as bad. I planned on cooking for us Friday night then watching a movie (just as suggested), then going somewhere nice on saturday. What kind of prices are we talking at Stoney River? Looking on the internet, looks like a very nice place, but I'm hoping not too expensive. Appreciate the suggestions so far, keep them coming!
  18. Unfortunately, it is time for me to start thinking about a valentine's dinner, and I'm looking for recomendations. I've only been dating the girl for about 1.5 months, so nothing amazing, but still somewhere pretty nice (maybe $50-$70 for the two of us). Hopefully something a little more unique (trying to stay away from chains). Also, preferably in the henderson/bethel/sawmill area, or somewhere around hilliard/dublin. Any good ideas?
  19. I used shamrock to tow my motorcycle last fall. Two days later it magically dissappeared from my parking lot. Just something to think about...
  20. Might want to try contacting Jay from jayracing.com. Might be able to source everything you need. He's a very nice guy to deal with. Tell him Jerry Schafer from CinciDSM sent ya
  21. Behind me for a few minutes going east on Bethel Rd around 4:20 today. All I could see was a front mount, looked like lowered with rims, and I think Bride seats (I only saw it in my rearview). It pulled into Sterling Place apartments. Anyone on here?
  22. If you're thinking about going all the way to Edgewater, you could also look at Tri-State in Hamilton.
  23. My brother just bought one after his 8500 was stolen, and these things are baller. Really wish I had the extra cash laying around, this is a really good price...
  24. I thought about that too, but afterall, the thread was for a concert that was two days ago. Anyway, my apologies to the OP for taking it more off topic...
  25. Can anyone compare Mad River to Perfect North in Lawrenceburg Indiana?
