They eat gas, and torque, so the driver loses both . Srsly though, great handling.

Although the supercharged cars are decently reliable, and pretty quick, the new turbo model is miles ahead. The new motor has more power, and had more development put into it, so it would likely be more reliable. The turbo motor is used in 3 other gm cars now too, so there would be a larger aftermarket. Probably can't find a turbo for <14k though.

I was planning on going to watch, maybe I'll join. Who knows....

We too have insight, never had any problem. A couple of my friends in the area have paid for Roadrunner's even higher speed offering through them too. It's not much more a month, but they basically "uncap" your bandwidth. Crazy fast speed for sure if you spring for it, can't remember what they call it though....some catchy name.

There are so many times that I don't drive the stealth just because I don't want to get it dirty/hit in a parking lot/whatever, and then I drive the truck. Generally it's not because I need to haul something ( although maybe 20% of the time it is ), if I didn't already have the truck I would easily drive a metro or fiesta as a DD for the mileage. If it's not good, it might as well be REALLY not good, right.....

My dakota gets 15mpg mixed, but it has a 318 and 227k miles on it, so I'm not really upset. My Stealth gives me about 25/27 mixed, and close to 30 on long highway driving.
