  1. I noticed the STI there had defrost coils under the windshield wipers, which I thought was neat. Perhaps I'm a little behind on my defroster-tech, but it struck me as a great idea.
  2. I went yesterday, It was decent but not amazing. The crowds were larger than I remember, so that didn't help. I think ford's "booth" was probably around a half acre of the show if not more... pretty damn impressed with them.
  3. From what I understand the SOHC 6G's are pretty damn stout in stock form and take really well to boost. I read about guys turboing the them in base model 3000gts and Stealth's a lot, and it seems like they just run them until they give, then back to the junkyard for another lol. I guess they're nearly identical to the Duster/Shadow motors like in the video.
  4. Reckon dats between about a quarter and about a half 'o one.
  5. +1 Just on the corner of my Dakota's bed. I don't need a great finish, just want to keep it from spreading.

    Kia KV7

I liked my parents old Astro, not too big and not too small. It had the CAPTAINS chairs, bitch.
  7. Streetwerkz powdercoated a valve cover for me, and to this day I blame them for the spun bearings in my car. My 77k mile, perfectly maintained motor slowly lost oil pressure, then developed a terrible knock within 2 weeks of installing the valve cover they coated for me. No receipt, so just fuck me I guess right..... http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/DSC_0083.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/DSC_0086.jpg ^^Looks good right? You could physically see where what looked to be grains of sand ( trapped in the baffles of the valve cover ) were dragged around bearings. Any decent powdercoater knows that you should use chemically strip something like a valve cover instead of using abrasives..... You'd probably be alright with a set of wheels, as the finish on valve cover turned out fine. But for the love of god I can't bring myself to recommend these assholes to anyone EVER. Use P&P or WheelMedic.
  8. My friend Lee works there, I think he sharpens skates.
  9. If it were spring this would probably be mine, sadly it's winter and I've not yet graduated.... Free bump
  10. I assume the price has now gone up as suggested earlier in the thread? Ramsey, did your request for no pine work out okay?
  11. I'm not even a huge collector or enthusiast, and I'd buy one at that price.
  12. Quick and dirty - you'll have to live with the calipers http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/MercedesRimsLower.jpg
  13. On a slightly related note, I had a set of KMC (aftermarket) wheels on a previous car, and the center caps started crusting up pretty badly with flaking and whatnot. I kept the wheels VERY clean, including the rear of the wheels, barrels, etc. Discount tire, where I bought them, agreed that they shouldn't show that kind of wear and replaced them for me for free. I don't remember exactly how long the wheels were on the car when this happened, but it was outside of their "normal" warranty. Obviously your wheels are factory, and you're working with a dealer, but it's something to think about.
  14. 5x115 is the same bolt pattern as the Charger/Challenger/300C cars. I've seen plenty of good looking wheels on those cars. I'm among those that say use 115, not 114.3.
  15. Last call. Otherwise I'll give them to a friend at work Monday. Surprised nobody's interested honestly.
  16. I'd say definitely too small in height, and most likely also in the waist.
  17. Honestly I'm not sure, and I've only had luck going and trying on their stuff before buying. I can tell you that the only reason I'm getting rid of this is that I've outgrown it, and I'm 6'1" 190lbs. It's still plenty roomy for me, but the height is a bit tight in the shoulders, since I was 5'10" when I bought it. It should fit a 5'9" - 5'11" sub-210 guy easily. Their sizing is definitely hard to judge from just numbers, as I wear a 38-32 in their bib overalls, where I'm usually a 33-34 in normal pants.
  18. Yea I've loved mine, I've just started to outgrow them. P.S. - they're great for napping in 20 degrees http://i55.tinypic.com/14sfupi.jpg
  19. Stacks are hick and awesome. Nice pickup!
  20. I got some new camping/fishing gear, a new coat, a few shirts, and an awesome 1:18 scale '64 Fairlane Thunderbolt diecast
  21. I got a pair of overalls to match my hooded Carhartt Jacket for christmas, so I no longer need the coveralls. They are in good shape, and haven't been worn a lot. I've really only worn them to shovel snow or when fishing in the cold, so there are no holes, cuts, stains, etc. really to speak of. They are the red insulated type. The legs zip up to the waist so you can put them on over boots, and there are a bunch of pockets all over it. Size is 44 regular, as seen on the tag. I'd like $50 firm. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/DSC_0604.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/DSC_0603.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/DSC_0602.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Stuff%20For%20Sale/DSC_0601.jpg This can be picked up in Pickerington, and I'd be willing to meet somewhere relatively nearby. -Scott
  22. Does it matter if the media inside is cracked/chipped? Mine is still mostly intact but has started to crumble. Will that make it worthless?
