  1. Does it feel like it's hitting a firm point of contact? Did you try pressing the mag release while inserting the mag? I looked at a R1 enhanced a few weeks ago and there was something odd about how the mags caught.

  5. Exactly. If the dealership tells you up front that there is a diagnostic fee of $XXX.XX if the concern isn't covered under warranty it's legit. Good techs are hard to find and typically NOT cheap. Hell, we have an upfront $250 diagnostic fee upfront. You get every bit of two hours of diag.

  9. This 100x's over. I couldn't imagine being single and dealing with this shit. There is only so much crazy makeup can hide. One or two of the above girls seem like they could be hiding ALOT. I will admit though, this thread has become one of my all time favorites.

  15. Actually the newer CNG/ dual fuel trucks do have spark plugs. Just know there is a way more lucrative side of the industry when you go commercial. We pay for your training, there is no "going back to school" and these trucks run 750k-1.25 million miles at a shot. Lots of service repairs

  17. Yes, you get dirty. Yes, there is some heavy lifting. However when 90% of the lifting is done with cranes, tow motors and cherry pickers. It's not that bad. Go to Indeed and see how many listings are out there for Diesel Tech's. The industry is in need of fresh blood, and pays damn good.
  18. I'm honestly surprised so many auto techs haven't looked at the medium/heavy duty truck dealerships. We can't find enough techs, and a solid level 5 tech makes 80-110k a year. 90% guarantee on every hour worked, factory training, ect. If you're a solid auto tech level 3/4/5 PM me.   22. I was at the Summit county gun show a few weeks ago. One of the vendors was asking $375 for gen 2 G17/G19's that were police trade ins. I think we'll start seeing more of these being retired based on how many have been at the shows.
