Agreed! I have had good luck with the pioneer headunits of the last two years. Anything previous to that was a toss up but they seem to have got their act together. Speaker wise, I like Diamond Audio or JL for mid to high end and Infinity for entry level. For reference, I can actually help you with speakers and a head. I am a current dealer for the following: JL Audio Diamond Audio Rockford Fosgate Pioneer Infinity The only head unit lineup I currently have is Pioneer. Not sure if I will pick up anything else later in the year or not but like I said, we have had really good luck with the newer stuff.

Just looked at the schematics, there are two relays for the fuel pump. One is the standard fuel pump relay, the second is a high pressure relay. I would look there first and then look in the tank.

Did you check all of the relays and wiring to rule all of that out. There should be 2 relays for that pump if im not mistaken. Also it could be bleeding out from a connection in the tank once it pressurizes.

Their BFG GForce T/A's. 275/35/20 on the rears and 255/35/20 on the front. The car is a street car. I have no plans to launch hard or abuse the car. I just enjoy driving them!!

Yeah loading can be turned off. I dont know if it affects the numbers or not, I have never tried it. I am more interested in how the car reacts under load to be honest. I imagine the numbers would probably be pretty close both ways though.

Well, I finally was able to get back on this car and get the upper/lower pulley combination figured out to give me exactly what I was looking for. How much fuel pressure drop on the guage?

Good stuff. Go slow and follow the instructions. Brush it on. It is basically self leveling and will look good as long as you take your time with it. Dont get it on anything you dont want it on cause it aint coming off! Other than that, great stuff.

Wonder if they changed the shim thickness on the carrier bearing.

Hopefully they can get more accomplished than their dance moves! And dance all over Dwight!!

The mustang plugs typically come out a lot easier than the trucks thank God! I agree on the getting the plugs out though. I cant remember for sure but I think mid 07 (could be mid 08) was the head design change where they went to a new 1 piece plug that nobody had a colder plug for forever. Brisk now offers them though.

Budgets arent a bad thing. They are actually a great thing and more poeple should work within them. All I am saying is to get a look at the whole picture up front as to what things are actually going to cost before jumping in. How much power you want is going to dictate fuel requirements. I mean lests just say you want the 450 mark GT500 pumps are going to be the way to go right there is between $700-800 dollars just for pumps. Now you need injectors, there is a couple hundered more, spark plugs for the three valves are anywhere from $100-200 a set and you are going to need a colder set for boost. You are now at about half of your budget before you even begin to think about the turbo kit, getting it installed, or tuned. Unfortunately I see people all of the time that start a project only to find out they didnt budget ahead enough to cover crucial expenses. It is always cheaper to do the job right the first time than to go back and do it a second time because you cut a corner that shouldnt have been cut or end up in a situation that you think is going to cost $2500 only to find out that it is really going to be $6000 when it is all said and done. Now if you plan to do alot of the work yourself, it may be another story because you wont have to worry about labor.

Any time you go forced induction you are going to pick up really good gains in that range especially with a turbo. The hardest part is going to be staying in the budget.

Yes, it is the GMS kit with less than 3k miles on it. Everything except fuel mods. I do have injectors that I can make a deal on though. The customer is looking to go a different way with the car possibly depending on what he gets out of the kit. It is basically an as is brand new take off. The kit is like 7k new on the retail side. You are correct though, there is not really anything out there budget for these cars.
