Hey guys. Just thought I would share a few pics of a 3v we finished up a few weeks back. This car is a really fun car to drive and the power comes on nice and strong. Here is a quick breakdown of what the car has. Custom L&M 302ci shortblock Custom L&M cams Livernois camshaft lockouts 2.6 Kenne Bell Supercharger PPC custom fabricated intake C&R dual fan heat exchanger Roush intercooler resevoir Frpp intercooler pump frpp 80 lb/hr injectors frpp GT500 dual fuel pump kit Mcleod RXT twin disc clutch Magnaflow off road x pipe PPC custom axle back exhaust Metco billet lower control arms Metco driveshaft safety loop DSS one piece aluminum driveshaft The original plan was to add a 100hp dry shot of nitrous to the car on top of everything. We ended up a little higher on the fuel pump duty cycle than we anticipated and the customer lives in a rural area where there really are no nitrous fill stations. Just saw this thread. I have one out of an 04 z06 that has 14k miles on it. Still looks like new. It belongs to a customer of mine. Make an offer and Ill see what he says on it.

We make our own for those cars. I have enough material that we could make you one if you wanted. Probably be around $20. Basically it would look exactly like the one you pictured but would have a nut welded on the end that you could hold so that you dont twist the all thread into the crank any further. I personally prefer to not use a bolt. It can and will work but I would rather have a stud threaded all the way through the crank and distribute the load across the threads of the stud rather than rely on the threads of the crank to pull the balancer on. Much cheaper to replace the stud than repair the threads in the crank if something binds or begins to cross thread.

Just drops it to a 3yr/36k mile warranty. I came to terms a long time ago that I cant have a car the way I want it with a powertrain warranty. Been much happier ever since! -

Correct.Its basically just a software update through the ids. Basically you purchase the track key from Ford. They then give a "key" that has to be entered in to the ids during programming. It would be hard for a dealer to mess up whether they have done one before or not.....I would give the Germain service department on sawmill a call on . They have done the clutch tsb on several of our Shelby customers vehicles and i have not heard a complaint from any of those customers. -
Well, I was all excited that the 2012 GT500 Convertible was going home next week. After calling the customer to schedule delivery, the car is now staying for a little bit longer. Apparently enough power is never enough. This car is now getting a large set of custom cams! Should be fun to see what kind of power it will kick out now.

He was thrilled with the driveability, so much so that he wants us to do another custom setup for his Procharged 2010 Camaro SS. The car drives really nicely. You can cruise it at 55mph in 6th gear at 1400 rpm without even a hint of bucking or surging. The car drops into idle perfectly at stop lights and power comes on nice and strong as soon as you hit the pedal. We dont do as many LSX vehicles as some of the other local shops, so this one was alot of fun for us. Thanks again for taking the time to look, Brady

Not really. We had planned to head down with a friend of mine whos car we are doing currently but we are going to be a little close on the deadline and he would like to have some time to get the car broke in and work out any bugs with the new combination. Im not sure about the october event yet. Ill have to wait and see how the year plays out. I think if I want to go much faster in my car, I will want to do it with a roll bar at a minimum. Im torn on doing it in the car though as my kids love to ride in it and with a roll bar in there, that pretty much goes out the window.....I didnt mind taking the risk to run at those speeds the one time but it is not something I would want to do on a consistent basis without the safety equipment. Too much to live for and the risk isnt worth the reward if something were to happen.

The 04 was dbw already. Caspers electronics makes a plug and play harness adapter that allows the ls2 tb to be plugged directly. From there it is basically some tune changes to make it work. What kind of car are you working with? I assume you are cable operated currently? If so, I would probably stick that route rather than adding everything in to go to dbw....

I dont believe we have any vids of the Suburban. We should have them for the other cars once they are all completed. The videos dont always get processed right away as the customers are the priority and we have to fit the other stuff in between where we can.

I would have to pull the graph off the dyno computer for the exact number but iirc it was roughly a 90-100 hp gain using the Magnuson calibration.

No, that car is currently in our showroom. We have another 2010 Corvette Gran Sport convertible sitting in the back shop. We should be starting on it once all the parts are in and we finish up a few vehicles in front of it.
