  2. Thought I would share a project we recently finished up. Its a 1938 Dodge Coupe that we transplanted a 5.7 Hemi into. The motor, trans, and ecu were all donated from an 04 Ram. The car sports fully functional ac, custom leather seats, and double din navigation all installed in house. It was a long tough project but it turned out really well and the owner is really happy with the results! http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3974&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3977&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3980&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3983&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3989&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3992&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3995&g2_serialNumber=2 A few mock up pics of the motor going in... http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Chrysler/Dodge/38%20Coupe/DSC03200.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Chrysler/Dodge/38%20Coupe/DSC03202.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Chrysler/Dodge/38%20Coupe/DSC03203.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Chrysler/Dodge/38%20Coupe/DSC03206.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Chrysler/Dodge/38%20Coupe/DSC03207.jpg And of course a burnout video.... http://youtu.be/AW4eQ6KuoH0
  3. The auto is stronger than the manual. There are guys in the mid 9's on stock auto's. It needs a converter but they are absolutely strong enough to take the abuse no questions asked.

    thanks ppc

Thanks Phil. It was certainly nice meeting you. If you need anything else, please dont hesitate to let us know.
  5. One of our customers dropped off his Harley Davidson edition F150 for a little work. The truck was already equipped with a Saleen supercharger making 5lbs of boost. We tossed on a pulley, made a few fuel system upgrades, and did a quick retune. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3845&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3852&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3861&g2_serialNumber=1
  6. Saw this on another forum and thought it was hilarious.
  7. One of our customers brought in his 2010 GT500 for us to install some new wheels/tires he had purchased and to swap the supercharger pulley on his car to something more pump gas friendly. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3831&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3835&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3838&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3841&g2_serialNumber=2
  8. Yes it does. The best part is the guy holding the camera in the back seat weighs about 290 and is sitting square over the axle....Lol
  9. Thought some of you might enjoy these. http://youtu.be/FY_qFD94dWw?hd=1 And a nice in car video.... http://youtu.be/ibeQUeiqL98?hd=1
  10. 577/490 on pump/torco blend and it made 564/490 on straight pump. There is a graph posted a few posts up.
  11. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3826&g2_serialNumber=1
  12. I would upgrade the heat exchanger first and then add the killer chiller later if you still think you need it.
  13. 93 with some Torco in it for safety.
  14. Okay, got rid of the airbox and added a JLT 127mm carbon fiber intake from a GT500 and spent a little more time on the dyno getting things dialed in. I am very happy with the results! http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3788&g2_serialNumber=1 I also added a GT500 wing, custom painted satin black 5.0 badges, a Roush lower valance, a satin black rear decklid panel, tinted the windows, and smoked all of the lenses......I think that is it for now, or atleast that is what my wife tells me...:no:Lol http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3767&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3770&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3773&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3776&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3785&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3782&g2_serialNumber=1 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3779&g2_serialNumber=1
  15. It has factory mid length headers. The Corsa's are just straight through. There is a huge sound difference between the stockers and the Corsa Extremes.
  16. I do miss the sound at times but it is nice to be able to stand on it and not have to worry about who I am alerting in the process... The Corsa's sounded incredible but you could hear them from a mile away. There was a time when that was exactly what I wanted, as I get older, I would rather not draw attention.
  17. I thought about it but the more I drive the car with the "quiet" exhaust the more I like it...Im turning into an old man...
  18. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3764&g2_serialNumber=1
  19. Honestly, Im not really chasing track times....Its more about just having a car I can enjoy. I will certainly take it to the track and put the numbers up when i do though. Ive made a few changes to the car. Went back to the stock exhaust as the Corsa's were just too loud for me personally. I really like the fact that the car is nice and quiet with the stock exhaust and the TVS is really quiet. I will tell you that so far I am only seeing 7-7.5 psi of boost peek and we are already well over 500 at the tires...I hope to finish everything up mid week if I can get some free time between everything else that is going on.
  20. Well, I just couldnt take it any more! Lol. A few weeks back I ordered a TVS supercharger for our shop car. It has been sitting in the back shop waiting for an opening to get it installed. I finally took a few days off and was able to get it done. While we were in there, we also isntalled a set of billet oil pump gears from the Triangle Speed Shop. I fully intend to abuse the car and didnt want to take a chance on the stock gears...I havent been able to spend the time I want to with the car on the dyno yet but with just a base file in the car, power is very very good. I hope to have some final numbers by the end of the week but for now, here are some pics of the install. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3741&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3744&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3747&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3750&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3753&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3756&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3759&g2_serialNumber=1
  21. Ill try to remember to look later today.
  22. Hello all, I have been a little overwhelmed lately and have unintentionally missed some of the posts in our forum section here as well as some of my pm's lately. For those that I have missed, I do apologize. The quickest way to get ahold of us would be by phone. The shop # for our Lewis Center location is (740)549-2828 and Kyle or Justin would be the 2 best sales contacts by phone. I am still also avaialble directly through email to brady@pickupspluscars.com. Thanks again to all of you that have supported us through this site! Brady
  23. We recently had one of our customers bring us his 05 Mustang GT for some work. His primary goal was to clean the engine compartment up a bit as well as make the car sound a little bit better. He had previously installed the Kenne Bell stage 1 kit on his car along with a set of Magnaflow muffler delete pipes. To improve the sound, he chose to add a set of the Ford Racing Hot Rod cams and then we made a custom intake tube, added a larger heat exchanger and did a quick retune. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3685&g2_serialNumber=2 Here is what the engine compartment looked like when we recieved the car. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3669&g2_serialNumber=2 And here is the engine compartment after http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3688&g2_serialNumber=2 We started out with a couple of 4" mandrel bends and tacked them together to get the shape we were after. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3694&g2_serialNumber=2 Once the pipe was welded together, the welds were ground smooth to give a 1 piece look. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3673&g2_serialNumber=2 A new maf flange was tig welded in place as well. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3682&g2_serialNumber=2 After the pipe was complete everything was done in a semigloss black to blend in under the hood a bit better and some of the engine wiring was cleaned up. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3691&g2_serialNumber=2 http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3679&g2_serialNumber=2 We also added a much larger heat exchanger with dual fans to help keep the intake air temps in check. http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3692&g2_serialNumber=2 And the before/after dyno chart.... http://pickupspluscars.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3698&g2_serialNumber=2
