  1. I'm thinking fubar is right on. I don't plan on doing anything in 4x4, I still have a few issues I have to iron out with that. I think the 4l80e will rob more power than anything.
  2. Tomorrow I am going to ips and getting my truck street/dyno tuned. What numbers does everyone think it will put down? I plan on running as much boost as the injectors/fuel system will allow.

  5. They are a little pricy, but you get what you pay for. Which one were you looking to get, they have all kinds of options.
  6. I saw a 9.91, and a 9.95, and everything in between, that thing is the most consistent car I have ever seen. It looks great also.
  7. If you do the 6.0l swap, it was one of the easiest things I have done to my truck. My 2 friends and I pulled the motor, swapped all accessories, and reinstalled the 6.0 in about 3 hours, and we were taking our time. It was a new longblock though, and didn't have to fight with old bolts or anything. Only thing it needs is a tune, but the 4l60e is the next week link. If you are going with a cam, the ls6 cam probably would be a bit of an improvement over the stock cam through all rpms, but will make the truck able to be reved higher than 5500 after it's tuned for.

  9. I have some extra stuff I took off of my truck that I want to get rid of. All of the parts fit 4.8/5.3/6.0 Silverado. All prices are OBO Stainless OBX lt headers/y-pipe $200 I still have all of the band clamps, you would probably want to get new bolts for the collector flanges. They connect directly to a stock, or after market cat back flange. They are dark/discolored, but no rust, and I am going to clean them up this weekend. 8.1L 32.5# fuel injectors, part# 25343789 $100 They have about 4-5000 miles on them, and will need tuned for anything that doesn't have these injectors stock. Complete stock air box, MAF, K&N filter, air intake pipe $150 EGR solenoid $25
  10. I am not sure if I will be able to sneak out of work early, but if I can, will I still be able to get a ticket if I get there at say 12:00.
  11. Yea, I forgot to pick up some wire loom, it's kind of getto for now. I've still got a little bit of tuning to do, and get a catch can on it. For having a sloppy tune in it, and running 7 psi it pulls like a bitch. Give me a couple of weeks to save up for a full tune with higher boost, and I'll give anyone a ride.
  12. It's finally all in there. My stock oil pan always had a little leak, so I thought it was the gasket. I needed to tap the pan for the oil drain, so I took the pan off to put a new gasket on, and found a nice sized crack in the front corner. Then I had to look everywhere and find a new one, which you think wouldn't be very hard, but I could not find one for 2 days.   14. Everything came in today, kit, boost controller, e-fans are in the truck, and I'm taking next friday off to get it in the truck. Today I ordered a cutout, can't believe I forgot that. I also need to get some 3" exhaust band clamps. I probably won't sleep at all this week.

  17. Their was a thread on the website I posted about that, and it was like 30lbs difference. The fiberglass is so thick to make it strong enough, that it is almost as heavy as a steel bed. Oh yea, plus I think they are ugly ass shit.
  18. I don't know how much boost it will make on the wg spring, but dd boost should be between 7-10psi. I should be 450-500whp there. Then to crank it up it depends on my injectors, but I should be able to get between 14-16psi, out of them, that should be 600+. I don't know how much + exactly, it will all depend on tuning, then after that I will decide on meth injection, or dual fuel pumps or what to go beyond that. The truck weighs 5000lbs+, but it has a fiberglass bedcover, 2 50lb sub boxes, amps, spare tire, tail gate, lots of potential to lose 400-500lbs easily. I think I will get it weighed soon, so I will know exactly, because I don't know.

  20. I have 60lb injectors at 3 bar so 72ish lb at 4 bar, 3 bar map, iat sensor, and e-fans here. I'm waiting on e-fan harness, boost gauge, and boost controller. The boost gauge and boost controller are at IPS to be picked up this week, and the e-fan harness should be in the mail. The turbo kit is packed up and should be shipped tomorrow, so it should be at my shop tuesday. I can't wait. If there is one scratch on anything in the crate, I'm going to kick the shit out of the truck driver.
