I put drilled/slotted on my truck with braided stainless flex lines. It used to never have a firm pedal, and they would fade a lot, after driving hard on backroads for just a few minutes. Now they never fade, no matter how hard I drive it, and the pedal is very firm, it doesn't sink at all. It feels kind of like stepping on a brick if you slam on them. I would recommend this to anyone.

Ever since I lowered it, most people don't even believe me when I tell them it's 4wd. I'm glad I waited and found a 4wd, because 2wd is useless running it 8.6 psi on the wg spring, let alone cranked up to 16 psi.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. It will be turned up a little this year, and I am shooting for a 10 second dd.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but coming from you, I'm guessing it is. I'm sure there are better sleepers out there, but I love beating up on "sports cars" with a slow ass pickup.

What about my truck? Nobody ever thinks it's fast until it's too late. Nobody even believes me it's not stock with exhaust until I pop the hood.

My wife works Saturday, I may show up if nothing is going on around here.

The photo eyes will only reverse it if it is moving, they have no control after it stops moving. Try reprogramming your transmitters. If it has dip switches, just change a couple in your transmitter, and change the ones in the opener to match. If it says intellicode or security+, there will be a button under the light cover, hold it down until the led light goes out, that clears the memory, then push the button quick, then push the button on your transmitter 3 times. If it is a craftsman/liftmaster/chamberlain, the light will blink. If it is genie the opener will open/close the door. There was a guy in town here who lived next to a guy with ham radios, that could open and close his door, it took about 5 trips out before they figured out what was happening. Sometimes remote controlled cars/airplanes will do it, but I doubt that's going on at 3am.

http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s316/brent1976_photos/1080153893_img_8427-2.jpg It goes great in the snow, surprisingly, if I stay out of it. It was in 4x4 for more than a week with all the snow though. That kind of kills my milage, but that's not really what I built it for.

So racquetball is a sport to you, as long as Phil is playing? Way to go, all the haters are just jealous they will never have a sponsor for physical ability.

I will try to be there, if work allows it.

Wow, does that look like just a cleaned up LS1 with big valve covers to anyone else, or is it just me?

I think there are going to be a couple of us shooting for this so, good luck. I'm getting retuned with higher boost, and the truck is going on a major diet this year.

I got $20 for a 100 mph roll.

I think 358 is pretty good coming from a 2.xL engine.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but all you have in your sig is 500+whp civic, why no tq# if hp doesn't matter

To me the article was saying the only mod needed was snow tires, not completely building a snow rig for a certain price. I also don't think they are talking about climbing drifts, or parking lot snow piles, just being capable in icy/snowy conditions. The $75k audi is #1, so I doubt the are talking about doing anything to extreme.

H2s are awsome. If someone gets one stuck, they should not be driving. My buddy has one, and it is amazing what they will do in the mud/snow/climbing hills/rocks, and his has shitty bfg a/t tires on it. I wish I could post some of the pictures he has of his going off road. He owns a bodyshop, so he tears the shit out of it, then just brings it in and fixes all the scratchs, and dents.

Everything on my list of parts I needed for my truck would work on a camaro/ta/gto/corvette/g8. I was told over, and over that I would get a call back the next day, and it never happened. The only things I ended up buying out of the list of 7 things I needed was a plx boost gauge, and Eric tuned my truck. The only reason I got the gauge was because I got a call 2 weeks later telling me it was there even though I never said to order it. Eric is the best fi lsx tuner around, so no matter what I was coming there for that, and will again I'm sure, later on. (I'm sure I'll catch hell for saying that.)

It's not the people who have been going there for years, and know all the guys in the shop by name who have a problem with the service. It's people like me, and probably most of the other people who have posted in this thread, who have only gotten a few parts, or just tried to get a price for something, and felt almost snubbed, like they are not worth the time. I have bought a couple of things there, and probably will again, but I agree sometimes the customer service does suck. I think with this type of business a secretary would not work, like said above, a sales person (or 2), with some knowledge, just to answer phones, and give prices. The people that deal with the phones now, are the same people running for parts/ ordering parts/ dealing with walk ins/ figuring out what will or will not work on any given vehicle yada yada yada. They are to busy to deal with 100s of calls a day, asking how much spark plugs are, and will this turbo work well on my civic, and all the random shit they get calls about in a day.

My 6.0l with a similar bottom end, good heads and cam, and a stock truck intake with a 76mm turbo made 62xhp/64xtq @ 15psi. That was through an 80e with 4x4, so it's more like 30% dt loss instead of 20% in a car. We stopped there because of alternator problems, and I haven't had a chance to get the tuning finished, but there is more in it. Mine is a dd on 8.5-9psi most of the time without a hiccup so far. That engine has more cubes, and better heads, so the power just goes up from there. The only thing I see that would be a con is that cam is not perfect for fi, but it would sound awesome, so you could probably crank up the blower a little to make up for all that overlap. I guess it also depends on what you consider low/high boost is.

If it's only going to be once a month is there any way we could get a weeks notice. I would have went tomorrow if I would have known ahead of time.

"adjustable cams" so the timing is way off, is that what this means?

I'm not really into jeeps, but thought some of the people who do would like these. http://icon4x4.com/
