We got my wife the 13" macbook pro and she loves it. She hauls it everywhere with her and has never said anything about it being to heavy. It was cheaper than the air, and more powerful, and has a disk drive in it, which the macbook air doesn't. Oh yea, and get the software Pat said.

There was a new guy that had a crazy looking muffler with a looped pipe on it on his civic, and I put a link to the double O pipe on it and said it reminded me of it, and he got all offended.

If this is a Chevy or GMC, take the tranny crossmember loose on one side, it will give you more room to get a wrench on it.

What's that mean? Like we don't all know your 4 door family hauler is faster than you let on. (And shh not everyone knows about my truck, I don't get out much.)

I have messed with the tuning of the tow/haul button on my truck. It is a blast to drive on the back roads, it holds gears to high rpms, and downshifts with very little throttle.

That does sound like an idea, but ls starter bolts are about 6" long to begin with. I don't think you could get the starter off with the engine in the car/truck.

That garage looks familiar, but I've been in a lot of garages.

I found a 40000 mile 6.0L that I am thinking about buying, but the block where the outside starter bolt goes is cracked, and broken off, probably from sitting it on the floor instead of a tire. Everything else is perfect, it's pretty clean, it has all accessories, coils, injectors, intake, exhaust, and harness, for cheap. Is there any way to weld on a cast block to build it up, to re-drill/tap that starter bolt hole?

It didn't automatically happen for me, I had to work for it. After I got the playlist from the other computer, I still had to figure out how to get it to switch the songs automatically to the other computer, instead of picking them out manually. Now I just open itunes on 2 devices, and it switches all songs.

I'm a moron when it comes to computers, and I figured this one out in about 5 minutes. At the top of the screen click advanced, then click home sharing, and go from there. I got my mac mini desktop, wifes macbook pro, my laptop, and her phone all to share with each other.

If they are replacing the door, tracks, springs, and trim, that's how they are sold in a package.

The other morning when it was 58* I was driving to work, my truck felt way stronger than it has in months. I have been driving around at 12psi, because 9psi was just to weak feeling in the hot weather.

If just the top section is broken you can fix it, buy a 16'x3" strut and screw it to the top of the top section. If it looks too bad you can get a replacement section and just replace it. I have worked on/installed garage doors for 15 years, and own the company I started working for now. It usually pisses people off when I tell them this, but if you get a new door, have a pro do it. I sell at least 10 a month cash+carry, and usually have 1-2 that I don't have to go fix after they install it.

I have a neighbor that is the same way. Most yards on my street have fences, but she doesn't, so all the kids cut through her yard. She calls the cops all the time. I think it's because she has no life at all, and she is so bored that is the only excitement in her life.

I'm in. I should have the new rear end in, and hydroboost brakes on by then. I should be able to make boost at the line, and not be afraid of breaking it when I do.

I made 333whp/350wtp on a low compression, heads, and 212-218 cam, through an 80e with a transfer case, so I'm guessing it was between 400-450 at the fly wheel. A 6.0L with h/c/with a truck intake can make 400+whp easy.

What kind are on it now? I have the steel chrome stockers from my truck that are perfect taking up space in the basement.

I'm not sure on the twins either, but the way I understand it is, if one is good for 800hp, 2 are good for 1600. The boost # doesn't matter.

How late does this go, I'm too old to be out late, and I'm not sure, but I think it's 2 hours away for me. It sounds like fun though.

Hmm, I wonder what my 6.0L will do when I get everything else up to par to handle a bigger turbo with more boost. That article has been a pretty big topic on performances.net for about a week now.

I figured it has been going on, but haven't seen anything about it for a couple of weeks, and haven't been able to make it up for a while. I plan on being there this week.
