    Mac people

I got an imac when they first came out, and it lasted until I got my new mac mini about 3-4 years ago. The only reason I got the new one is because I wanted a new computer. I gave it to my little brother, and he still uses it. He has to play games on his laptop, but still uses it on the internet, because he says it runs faster. It's got to be 10 years old. My new computer the only "problem" I have ever had, was shmuckinghams sig, and the problem is it thinks for about 4 seconds. I also have a nice laptop that I bought for hptuners, that has only been on the internet about 10 times, because it sucks so bad.
  2. I was thinking similar to /\, only with a log style header instead of an actual header.
  3. Could you get some flanges, and make two log style manifolds? I know where to get all the flanges.
  4. I'm with this guy, because this makes a lot of sense. A fast vette is a lot different than a fast civic.
  5. I think 11s is fast. I have never ridden in anything that fast before, but now that I have it, I think I will hit 10.99 next year. The bug has bitten me. That evo has to be a crazy ride. My truck breaks them loose off the line in 4x4, and it jumps 2 feet to the side, but you don't know which side until it happens, so I can't imagine that happening shifting into 3rd going 80. Crazy. I could see that getting away from anybody.
  6. Lay it out on both sides, but on the width you have to measure off of the hinge side, because the knob side should be beveled. drill a 3/8" hole in each corner of the layout, and cut it with a jigsaw.

  8. 11.60 @ 115.9 w/ 1.80 60' Had a great time, and it was good to meet some new people. I looked through my time slips, and there are a couple with 1.6x 60' so I know it has more in it.
  9. You should have said "present them"
  10. Just because it's not your thing, doesn't mean it's not racing. I'm not interested in watching them either, but I do recognize that they are racing. But I do think the op is talking about drag racing. I hope more people sign up too, because I always have had a good time at the track rentals.
  11. I can't believe he forgot to put that.
  12. I would say if you want an all around tcc, get anywhere from stock to 2800-3000 stall any more than that and towing would suck. If I remember correctly the stock 80e stall is on the high side, like 2200 or something. Oh yea, I forgot one part, it was the input on the transfer case. The shaft on the 80e is about 1/4" bigger than the 60e, so you have to take the transfer case apart, and switch out the splined input. I think that was $100 shipped. If you want I can make a list of everything, and pm you. I think I still have everything bookmarked.
  13. On the stall, what all do you use it for?
  14. The wiring harness you just have to take apart and rewire, the vss sensor wiring was like $10 shipped, the trans-transfer case adapter was $30 at a junk yard, and the drive shaft mod I paid $80. The crossmember I did myself, but I weld, and I have the older easy to do one, and the tune is just a segment swap, so it might not be as much as a full tune, I have hptuners, so it was free to me. A stock 80e will take anything you can throw at it if you truck is stock otherwise. Anything that is more than 4500lbs and is capable of towing should have come with it stock in the first place.
  15. The 80e conversion is pretty simple really. You swap 2 wires in the main harness on the tranny, the the cross member is off by about 2", the driveshaft is 1 3/4" to 2" shorter, if it is 4x4, you need to wire in another vss sensor, and the tranny to transfer case adapter is different, and the tune needs adjusted. The hardest part about it for me was finding the time to take the driveshaft to a shop to have it cut down, and balanced.
  16. Probably a repost too, but it's still funny. http://thegrip.wordpress.com/2009/10/03/burnout-of-the-week-2/
  17. Sometimes the circuit boards will randomly do this, try this, and if it still does it, the opener needs a circuit board. On the back of the opener there is a square button, push it and hold it in until the led light goes out, that clears all the transmitters that are programmed in. Then press the button on the opener, and then press the button on the transmitter to reprogram them in, one at a time. Then press the button on the opener, run out and type in the keyless code and press enter, that reprograms the keyless.
  18. I have the same ones, but mine are a couple of years old. I think they are made of titanium, if I remember correctly. They are the only pair of sunglass I have had for more than a year, I have had them for at least 4.
  19. Keep it and put a supercharger, or turbo on it, then you won't be bored again for a year or two.
  20. Just because some people have them, doesn't mean everyone will. Until everyone has them, or they make separate roads, no one will be any safer. I can just barely ride with my wife, I don't think I could set there and let go of the wheel and let a car drive me around.
  21. I wish I didn't live an hour away, I would so be in on this.
  22. If everything works out I will come.
  23. 14k for a 1000rwhp lsx?
  24. I go there every once in a while, and yes if it can be found, or made they can do it. It is right across the street from my shop.
