  1. it an "open door maf " so not dirty and its a new fuel filter you think a clogged cat would cause that?
  2. iv noticed if i back off the throttle it will creep up the rpms after 5k and the more i let off the higher it goes
  3. if the maf goes bad car wont start so pretty sure not maf....

  5. miata boards still haven't said anything useful and i had probs and put new parts on that did nothing so the tittle became new parts still failing as in the engine is still falling
  6. nope to much fun when its running good lol i can just get another engine for super cheap from my "sponsor" but i think its electronic or something.....

  8. so i have installed my new tps and idle air controller on my 92' miata and am still having probs i was before a little better but not really the probs, 1. Idles roughly not very smooth kinda like a cammed v8 2.while reving at 5k gets really loud 3. once in gear at 5k it acts like its hitting the rev limiter (norm 7k) and wont go past it ...but its not constant some time a lil after 5k 4. all probs started after a injector fuse blew 5. with new parts every now and then it acts ok and will go all the way through 5k 6. while down reving like letting off the gas in neutral it sticks at about 2k for 30 to 40 sec then will drop lower. only engine mods are intake and spark plug wires other wise not sure all i can think of is idle speed maybe the tps sensor angle or or cam angle sensor (does the ignition timing.

  16. I have brand new wires and plugs? msd wires and new plugs they worked fine in the last engine........ till that blew a head gasket and some other fun stuff but yea less then 1000 miles on the wires and new plugs
  17. well then your kinda slow He was making fun of the fact my car had a welded diff in it when i bought the car and now I have a LSD ( Limited Slip Differential ) and have no problems drifting then proceeded to make fun of the fact his car is wrong wheel drive and he can't have the fun of drifting with out an E-brake.

  19. goofy diff the welded one that came in it is gone a have a LSD now to bad your wrong wheel drive and wont know the fun with out an E-brake :burn:
  20. its all the fun!!!! autocross for life well that and snow drifting still need to fix the damn idle however (refer to tech talk section thread is the miata idle) let me know if anyone has legit ideas please
