well it idles and sounds like a cammed v8 really shaky and runs soo rough at idle cant even use my timing gun on it to do the timing. but the sec you give it gas or are above like 1200 rpm runs like a top nice and smooth and has the power... and depending on the day coming to a light or stop sign it likes to let the rpms deep real low like 200 the car starts right up but it like to die if i dont hold the revs to like 2k for 30 sec then it will idle but real rough this happened before kind of when i had a crack in the intake after the maf thats why I think that im letting air in after it still ....

I think im letting air in after the MAF and I think i traced it to the intake manifold and its throwing of my idle. I was told to spray carb cleaner around it and see if it changed my idle to make sure thats where the leak is. Will that work?

Hi I know most of you guys my name is Eman I have a white 92 Mazda miata that sounds like a cammed rotary thats right a cammed rotary lol I know alot of you guys through pat Simmons and Saturday night meets I originally posted and joined like last April when I had a crx pickup truck that was flat black and insane.

We are going to Granville high school to eat lunch next Tuesday the 15th at 11:45 to eat with "O HAI" and "Mr. Sheeba" before there finals start Wednesday let me know if anyone wants to go I think the more the funnier it would be!

Hey, I'm Eman, introduced to the site by a few buddies of mine on here. I drive and 86 CRX that someone converted to a pickup truck (no, really) that I got for next to nothing, $400. Runs and drives, actually a great reliable daily. Hopefully, I will be getting rid of it for a new car, clbsinvaders found me a 1979 SA RX-7 locally that I may pick up. I will soon be participating in the local SCCA autocrosses with the CRX, but I have driven in my Protege a few seasons ago. I've owned a Volvo S70, 03 Protege, 1974 Alfa Romeo Spyder Veloche, and now my 86 CRX. And for a week, a pretty slick 240SX with SR20 swap, planning on building a new one in the future. Some of you may have met me and seen my car up at Quaker Steak, but for those who haven't, here's a pic.
