  1. These are all roughly 1 to 1.5 years old. All have been mounted in my 12 bay supermicro server at my works datacenter. They have had a very comfy life. I'm doing some cloud fuckery now so these are sitting in a powered off box atm. I don't have a clue on a good price for these. These are shucked drives from WD Easy Stores from BestBuy. I believe they are all 256mb cache. These have been used with freenas/ZFS their entire life (frankly i'm a firm believer that hardware raid rapes disk, so :thumbup:) $90 for one. $75/ea if you buy more than one.
  2. I upgraded to something insane and really dont need these anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Both are in good condition. The Asus has a stupid shiny finish that gets marred easy so dont expect the base to be perfect. Pics of both if requested, they currently sitting aside preparing to be moved to new place.   3. So I got bad gas for the first time ever. Well, once long ago in the volvo, but it kind of shrugged it off after a bit. Filled tank at turkey hill near the casino. Ran like shit by the time I was pulling out of the gas station. WAY down on power, stuttering at idle, dying. Added two bottles of heet and its seems to be running okay. Still stalled once more when I popped into neutral but I think that's really more from the aftermarket intake and shit probably needing cleaned. Is there any recourse? Any agency to report to for this shit, or am I just stuck with 17 gallons of fuckery?
  4. search "s60 angle gear" that's 99% going to be your problem the proper fix is $$$$ the race car fix is pull the case just enough and weld it.
  5. Ahhh the little blue window block. Did two of those on mine. What springs you go with? I had H&R. It made the ride...more than uncomfortable. Almost 2" drop tho AWD failure is basically expected. I know the S60 AWD is a bit different than the S60R but I'm sure it can still be ghetto engaged.

  12. Just saw the tech thread on this. Timing is a PITA. Coolant - yep - but one of the pennzoil 50/50 mixes is compatible Tape adapter > GROM, I still have the old one from my volvo since it was last thing around to have a tape deck! Electrical isn't too hard. I got a meter. Pull fuse, check current through it, repeat. Finally, P0302 Cyl 2 misfire, LOL. I had same code and 40psi compression. Good luck.

  14. Pffft. Give the trans torque till she pops. BECAUSE $900 RACECAR (srs, strip all the weight, put lowest springs, and autocross this bish for luls) Pod/removing stock airbox will give you quite a bit of woosh noise. You can literally pull the air box out and slip a filter with a 3" ID inlet right over the pipe and let it sit there no problem. Guess how I know. The wastegates on these are really simple. There is a threaded rod you can adjust the length of and slightly alter the boost pressure and boost profile. You can also just vice grip the thing closed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ $900 cars require $9 solutions. I want to hear it straight piped, stat.
  15. no the S60R had the adaptive suspension they may fit but are different also the headrest thing - you hit the brakes hard when you do it so their heads go forward then slam back into the now down headrest downpipe/cat delete + IPD tune and you're over 350ftlbs but also that'll cost twice the price of the car in mods lol Gotta let me drive it! I miss my slammed s60

  17. FB Marketplace is by far and beyond the best at the moment. It'll probably go to shit eventually but it at least gives you a chance to feel out the seller and seeing its an actual person in whatever location. All the transactions I've done on it (car parts, never a car) have been seamless.

  21. Friends car. Previously had same issue where it would crank strong and sputter a bit before dying. Mysteriously putting jumpers on made it start right up (didnt seem to crank any weaker, either) Now a few weeks later its stuck doing nearly the same. Would start and die last night but eventually got to point of only just cranking. Sat over night and in morning it started but ran rough, then when he went to start it again later it wouldn't start. Right now eyeballing some of the cheap likely culprits (crank position sensor is first on my radar) anyone familiar with these? Anyone possibly have a VAG-COM tool?
